Today was another day of staying on message for the University of Miami.
After several days of hearing from Hurricanes head coach Al Golden, UM Athletic Director Shawn Eichorst and University President Donna Shalala today the message was bumped up the chain of command all the way to the top and the Chairman of the UM Board of Trustees.
A letter from University of Miami Board of Trustees Chairman Leonard Abess to the community
"For more than eight decades, our community has embraced the Miami Hurricanes through both celebrations and commiserations. This devotion is not limited to University of Miami students and alumni—the ranks of past and present fans swells to include thousands of adopted ’Canes, many of whom have never even set foot on UM’s Coral Gables campus.
This is why it is understandable that recent news of potential NCAA violations committed by current and former University of Miami student-athletes and staff have aroused such strong emotions in our community and the greater “U” family.
Without a doubt these allegations are troubling and demand a thorough and honest evaluation of Hurricane Athletics. President Shalala has taken a strong position, insisting on full cooperation with the ongoing NCAA investigation. The process will be long, and in the ensuing months the Board of Trustees and the university administration will provide both leadership and unwavering support for our great institution, which we all care so deeply about.
While attention has been rightly focused on the allegations this week, during the same time, the University has also welcomed the finest ever incoming freshman class, and campus is in the midst of the wonderful excitement surrounding move-in day and the beginning of the academic year. We must not allow our current crisis in athletics to diminish the excellence and hard work of generations in the UM family.
It is especially important that the alleged misconduct not overshadow our current leadership and institutional values. Moving forward, I ask for your support in helping to ensure that the University of Miami and Hurricane Athletics come out stronger in our continued commitment to excellence in every endeavor.
Rest assured, ultimate responsibility for the conduct of the overall athletics department lies with the UM leadership, which includes President Shalala, the Board of Trustees, and the Athletics Director.
With everyone’s support, the University of Miami will continue to be a community leader and an invaluable resource to all of us."

In addition, UM allowed two players to talk to the media today for the first time since the news of the current scandal broke on Tuesday. OL Tyler Horn and RB Mike James stayed on message during their brief interviews before practice at Greentree Field on Friday morning.
Here is the interview with UM offensive lineman Tyler Horn:
Here is the interview with UM running back Mike James:
Staying on message may not be easy but it is definitely the task for the Miami Hurricanes right now.

1. CC - I couldn't finish listening to the Beast - he is gawd-awful to listen to and mostly stated the obvious.
2. Back to watch the Fins-Panthers
Posted by: CGNC | August 19, 2011 at 09:36 PM
1. He was just saying what she (CC) wanted to hear so she got all excited with her !!! post. I agree, he is awful to listen to.
2. I was at the game at Sun Life tonight dreaming of the Canes playing there against OSU. Dolphins looked pretty good actually. Panthers NOT so much. Henne was sharp for the Fins but Cam Newton started for Carolina and got five series and the Panthers punted four times and then ran out of time at the half to produce ZERO points.
It was 20-0 at the half Fish leading. Game finished 20-10.

If you're going to listen to anyone, then listen to Jimmy Johnson's interview with Joe Rose .. go to the WQAM archives
Nice to see the doom and gloom still happening on here, with canechic still churning it, just waiting for other articles from Yahoo or "un-named sources" and telling people to read them - when the writers don't know anymore than anyone else ... I'll check back in in a couple of days and maybe other things Cane related will be spoken about. Love seeing the practice reports though, break the cycle of constant worrying about something we really have no idea about or have any sort of control over
Sometimes saying nothing is better than saying anything, just to "appease" the insane fans - ever think about that? Kinda selfish to want the University to come out with something you want to hear, just for your own sake. If you want to settle down your fans, then have them tell each other to sit back, have a few adult beverages and actually concentrate on doing other things they have control over
And please people, don't anyone ever tell anyone else to listen to some guy who calls himself 'The Beast' - in either audio form or read his dribble in written form - if you have any kind of liking for that person. I've been around the guy in press conferences and I've torn him to shreds on AllCanes b/c of his weak and whiny takes. It's really not that hard to set up a podcast ...... I'm surprised he's still not whining about practices being closed to the public or media, every chance he gets
I actually used to have Charles Robinson and Dan Wetzel on the radio show I did with my good friend back in the early 2000's, almost every other week. Back before they were really that popular on radio or television. Good writers, but they don't know any more than anyone else when it comes to this Shapiro matter - they just know how to write something to stir emotion better than anyone else
Shapiro must've sounded really credible as well to the people he got to buy into his Ponzi scheme ... if you have actual proof or reliable references to back yourself up to make yourself credible, that's what really counts - not just sounding like it. Used car salesman sound credible to a lot of people as well
I worked the Bucs/Pats game last night - it was a nice 12.5 hour day, from 12pm to 12:30am. I was on the Bucs sideline the entire game. I was the low eye level camera, shot all the interviews with Dave Wirth (Davin Joseph, Blount, McCoy) and got all the extreme close ups from field level. Talked with K2 for a bit and with Wilfork very briefly during pre-game warm ups and after the game as well - they both dug my "U" shirt. Wilfork is a large mammal. K2 said to me basically "f-those people" who I said tried to give me sh*t about wearing a Canes shirt ... I don't care, I love it, embrace the hate of the "U"
Another guy you shouldn't ever listen to on the radio - Dan Sileo. Just plain awful, all around
I'm surprised Sid is still on the radio - he was getting killed by Lebatard in the ratings ... Sileo has been trying to get into WQAM for a long long while now - he'll never ever get in there, esp. with the reputation he has among his peers

This will take your minds off that thing that people on here are stressing over for some reason
Here's some pics from the Bucs game taken with my cell, during crew call at 12pm ... walking down to the Bucs bench ... the low endzone camera view ... the live satellite truck we use ... inside the live satellite truck ... and finally hauling the camera up the lift to the high endzone camera that is above the scoreboard
Old Skool knows all about this I bet

You know what Six, you are spot on. I can't believe how the faithful here on Canespace have become the unfaithful. These allegations are not new, they were made over a year ago, and we brushed them off for what they are, the word of a man who made money lying against hard working players who deny his claims. What saddens me is to see and hear the faithful assume the very heroes that make a site like this possible be assumed by so many to be dirty. Is it because these guys are somehow more vulnerable than any other kids who know they can't damage their eligibility or because, since they live in Miami, with all its temptations, that everyone assumes they went bad?
These kids signed up to play at the U when alot of kids didn't want to play here anymore. I don't think that any of them did so because of Shapiro. For the Northwestern guys, it was about continuing to play as a team, and to play for Randy Shannon, and the pride they would take from making a homegrown Miami coach successful. Unfortunately, they didn't live up to that end of the bargain.
I know you have your opinion on where things went wrong for Miami. Marve's most important play in Miami history may have been stuffing the ball at the end of the Florida game but he was and is clean. When Randy came in, he set a standard for ethical conduct. He dogged these kids to classroom and he professed to have people in the community who dogged them outside of the football field.
None of us disputed it at the time. So why should anyone be so eager to believe that Randy Shannon would have let the biggest scandal in college football history to occur? He DID NOT, and it DID NOT OCCUR, at least on his watch.
I do worry about the evidence with respect to Clint Hurtt. This is similar to the Twan Russell's dad allegations in the 1980's. Again I will take the word of a law abiding citizen over a convicted criminal anyday, especially one who was convicted because he lied. But to date, Hurtt hasn't made the type of denial an innocent man would do. I stand ready for him to make the denial or to be fired by Louisville.
Posted by: SJMPARMAN | August 20, 2011 at 02:40 AM
SJMPARMAN - you know what brah, I just look at it as well, there's nothing we can do .. just let it play out, ya know?
I've got a lot of other stuff I'm more concerned about with this team, and in my life as well ... like the killer sunburn I have on the back of my neck, or just how jacked up my right elbow is on the inside portion where it feels like my tendons are about to rip apart
Shady stuff happens in college football, basketball, etc. you name it - it happens
I'm trying not to talk about it anymore b/c frankly I'm sick of it myself and have been sick of it - but it's funny how realistically, this whole situation seems to be more blown up than when Bin Laden was reported to have been killed ... not only in sports sections or sports blocks of television news, but in regular news as well
I've said it a lot and I'll say it again - I'm more concerned about the QB play of the team, how Fisch is going to be as an OC, the DB situation, who will step in if Lamar & Smiley James go down, what kind of MLB play the Canes will have this year, if the TEs will be utilized more, if Chase Ford has learned how to catch the ball & if so, then if he'll be in 2 TE sets with Asante/Ayles/Walford/Dye/Calhoun, how the OLine will play, how long it will take for Seantrel to heal and rehab, etc.
Posted by: Six | August 20, 2011 at 03:16 AM
I posted Joe Rose!
I have listened to many opinions. I would have never even posted The beast except Miamicane posted originally not me. I had no idea the beast even still had a show!
You guys crack me. If anyone sees anything positive about this than you are out of your mind. This is not us against the world, it is not like the kids and the school did nothing wrong.
The school should never have allowed this guy there and the players should have made better choices. Blame to go all around.
Live in denial I don't care your business. I choose not to. This is sad for my dads alumn, sad for my daughters current school, sad for the 14,928 stundents who go to the U who made the right choices and have to pay for the mistakes of a few.
So I know I am not popular, my opinion not popular but I always stand with good morales and value.....makes me unpopular so be it.

Houston Canes (Texans) news:
Inside linebacker Darryl Sharpton could be the best non-starter on the roster come opening day. He’s in a tough spot behind DeMeco Ryans and Brian Cushing, though injuries are often in play with Cushing.
Myers is a key cog in making the Texans’ offensive line work, and he could be taking his place right alongside Jeff Saturday as an indispensable center in the division.

A thankful grin came to my mouth as I realized God has granted me another day.

I have a beautiful, brilliant and loving wife.
I have 4 amazing Kids.
I have eternal life through the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
I am and always will be a fan of the University Of Miami.
I am truly blessed...
With all that said, Here is my point.

canechic: I think we can all agree this is ominous but doesn't innocent until proven guilty mean remotely anything to you? Or does the fact that this is all coming from a proven liar/embezzler mean something? Or maybe withholding judgment until the process is completed? Don't think that's much to ask. And also, "Listen to this! Listen to this! Listen to this! ... you really need to listen to the first 10 minutes!" Doesn't exactly distance you from the milquetoast unsubstantial drivel from The Beast.
In any event I hope you aren't UM's or my relative's defense attorney sometime soon, as you continue to push unsubstantiated claims, banal commentary, and invariant 'the end is nigh' speculation. Not prejudging doesn't imply that those of us who want the process to unfold uncontaminated with prejudice are somehow pollyannas.

WTF is going on.
this is the first time in about 3 months I have been able to get on a computer here in Afghanistan. I have just read about 15 articles from the Herald, Sun and ESPN and things dont sound so good from the last time I was able to read about the CANES. Im glad some on here are not that worried about these allegations and maybe its because I have had time to digest them yet but Im scared shitless. I am starting my long road home for R&R which like any good CANE fan I scheduled to happen during the OSU game. These allegations are not what I wanted to read about at the start of my journey home to watch MIAMI kick OSUs ass.
Does any one know when we are suppose to hear what exactly the NCAA is going to do about what ever exactly has happened?
Any details anyone can give me on WTF happened?

Canechic...U keep consistently missing the target because you are so eager to be RIGHT and according to your own words that U keep posting on the blog your apparent need to feel "morally superior" to everyone else.
Nobody said there is anything POSITIVE about the current situation.
Nobody is living in DENIAL that some things occurred and that there will be some consequences.
It is just that EVERYBODY except U is simply trying to:
(1) Avoid immersing themselves in a masochistic worst case scenario mentality;
(2) Avoid embracing the notion that all of this is 100% absolutely certain and true just because some convicted liar and cheat said so;
(3) Avoid wallowing in complete, uncensored and total NEGATIVITY about the situation.
U purposely seek out and constantly post info on the blog to back up your conclusion that the majority of the kids on this team are worthless as players, have bad values and attitudes and are morally bankrupt.
Your comments clearly indicate that U WANT all of this to be true even when you claim the opposite. It almost seems that U want the worst case sceario so U can be "right" about the team rather than all of this be false and be "wrong" about the players on this team.
If U really feel that way then maybe you should stop rooting for the Miami Hurricanes and maybe stop following college football altogether.
Why would U willlingly and constantly expose yourself to so much negativity and something that obviously causes you so much personal and emotional distresss?
And the worst part about the whole situation is that it is your apparent goal to attempt to convince everyone else to feel that way too?
A word of advice from someone who considers U their FRIEND and cares about U: Your time would be better spent and much more productive if U made it your mission to focus on joy and positive thoughts, not pain and negativity.
Your friend,
Tom

I am entitled to my opinion Felipe and you are entitled to yours.
Not sure if you have been around for awhile...any way what these players are accused of doesn't shock.(hence why I am almost certain some of them are not innocent). I have NOT been an advocate for some of these players for over a year now. This just solidifies my opinion.
I have not wavered. I believe what I believe and I am not ashamed. I continue to keep my eyes wide open and will not blindly defend just because I love football and I love the U.(which I have vehemently done in the past). I believed the athletic dept. had issues and pretty broken some time back. Some of this just continues to confirm my suspicions. Kirby's LACK of due diligence in this matter also substantiates my beliefs.
Like I have repeated many times the truth is probably somewhere in the middle. We will have to wait and see what the findings turn up.
I am not a bad person or any less of a fan for standing up for what I think is right. Sometimes in doing so one becomes less popular!!!! Not the first time and I am sure it will not be the last!!!! :)
Like Angry tells his platoon.....making the right decision is not always easy and not always popular. Be a leader not a follower.

I know CGNC- she saved so much money for her trip to Europe but left little for her first couple of weeks back to school.
She makes great money babysitting and tutoring though...much better than a retail job.
One night she babysat for 5 kids( 3 where 12 year old's) one was two and the other 7, so not much work. She got paid $125 for 5 hours!!!! Tutoring she can get up to $15 an hour!!!! She already has a couple of jobs lined up when she gets back to Miami on Monday. She pays her own Sorority dues...(Although I think grandma sneaks her money..)
She is excited but is not looking forward to going back to all this turmoil. She says can't they just punish the school already and get it over with???

Don't be surprised if you see more starters playing on special teams this year. Golden said as much when he was asked about the progress of his special teams units.
This is how it should be. I guess our depth chart in the past got us away from that. And this is why there is a thing called Beamerball. VT starters fight to get on STs every year. Glad we're finally back to doing that.

Posted by: 2002nemo | August 20, 2011 at 11:26 AM
What has been pissing me off as much as anything of late is the way in which the "findings" are made known to the public.
This "investigation" is nearly six months old and the vast majority of the info is from the same old story which for the most part is sensationalism at its finest.
Seriously, whomever is in charge of the info just tosses a little out now and again to keep the story alive. C'mon, man! How do you not believe that the media simply considers us nothing more than idiots.
Give us the info straight up - The actual facts rather than someone's opinions who does not even take the time to check them.
The NCAA has FIVE months of investigative work on this. If the investigation is ongoing, why the need to put out the story NOW??!!
Why not wait until hard evidence is produced instead of allowing the public to form its opinions based on accusations?? I know, that was a rhetorical question - The viewership/ratings! As well, you have to want it out for someone or be paid a considerable amount of $$.
A lot of good any of that stuff does in finding the truth and what is really important - but really, how important is that anyway??
What a bleepin' joke are these loser "adults"!!!

With the loss of revenue from no bowl game or TV restrictions, should either occur, the rest of the athletic programs will have to be cut to the bare bones. Another example of how the sins of the few effect the many. At the least we can expect some significant fines for the university IMHO. The smaller sports without much income revenue are going to pay big time if it all goes down. Darn shame.

ESPN is taking every opportunity to stoke more coal on the fire. It is something you need, a sports channel, but I hate those guys. The NFL crew is pretty good...Keshawn is an ass...but I never liked Dan Patrick and Keith Olberman. Patricks radio show is whimpy, especially with those 4 Fagettes....Olberman is a Obama worshiper now....idiots. Screw Mark May...ask him how bad the Raiders were in the SB. They love to heap on the U.
It has to play out, cause this guy is a crook, a thief and a liar. I think some things went on, and it would not surprise me, but I do think you have to prove it. Kids need to take a lesson from this; you got to go by the rules, and stay clear of trouble. The administration needs to keep the big money boosters away from the kids. You have to check people out. Too many boosters and money people too close to the program. As a player and coach since I was 7,...uh 45 years I have been there. Meeting UM players at VT games, getting an autograph was great and I appreciate the guys being nice about it. These people, who never played or have an understanding of having to make it in life, have an obsession to get close to the kids. I think people like us, who love the kids and the sport, are happy to get a sig or handshake. Guys like Little Hitler are obsessed....and need to be cut down.
I think Kirby Haircut is a pu**y...cut and run baby. We just have to ban together and believe in AG and the kids. Line em up let them play...we will worry about this down the road when we have to do so.

Clwtrdan, I think if the NCAA gives the Hurricanes the death penalty it will lead to Miami shutting the program down permanently, or at least abolishing it on a 1-A level. The other thing to consider is that if we get the death penalty, we're likely to be kicked out of the ACC. No more shared bowl revenue.
Posted by: TonyCane | August 20, 2011 at 11:36 AM
I don't see Jint starting at all, U can't lead by example when your name covered in mud, the bond between a coach and QB is no different than father and son. Shannon went out of his way keep NS away from Miami and what does Jint do? Calls or text NS 90 times
Start Morris becuase Jint broke that bond with his father proving to me that he'll make bad decisions on and off the feild

TC . . .
Not only will we be kicked out of the ACC but the ACC might sue UM for money damages.
Posted by: 2002nemo | August 20, 2011 at 11:45 AM
That's possible. Ultimately, I think the ACC and Big East will merge into a 16 team super conference. If UM's football program and basketball programs exist, it will be as an independent or in something like Conference USA.
Indirectly, I guess Shalala got what she wanted all along. UM can now be the Harvard of the South, known for its education rather than its athletics. Because aside from baseball, it won't exist anymore.
Ancillary issue...the football program is facing the death penalty. Is the basketball team as well?
Posted by: TonyCane | August 20, 2011 at 11:51 AM
I have absolutely 0% inside information. But any Death Penalty talk is nonsense. We just need the season to start already.

Canechic -
The reason I come to this site religiously is because it allows for all types of opinions w/o all of the juvenile name calling, etc.
I would be a liar if I said that I disagreed w/ everything you posted.
However, as some have already alluded to, the way in which your posts read give the impression that because you may know that some of these players are not angels, you are almost happy for their "come-up-ence"
As well, you really have not provided any detail on "what you really know" about these athletes that is the foundation for your "beliefs and suspicions"
What else is any reader of your posts supposed to perceive of your thoughts towards the team?
Most importantly, at least to me, is the fact that because allegations have come out, the team is guilty. End of story.
To hell with one of the most important beliefs in our country that one is innocent until PROVEN guilty.
Our culture's utter NEED to form a conclusion in advance of understanding fully the case in front of them is beyond sad, it is also shameful.
It simply is not right to publicly make unsubstantiated claims about another person. Meaning, if you chose to spout off about it, then be ready to provide supporting evidence of the claims you are making.
Just because one does not say, hey, the truth is in the middle, does not mean that that person does not believe the accused cannot be guilty. It only means that they are waiting to give the accused his due process and then decide to what degree, IF ANY, the accused is guilty.
Posted by: pre83 | August 20, 2011 at 12:08 PM
I would think that the administration has somewhat of an idea as to how this investigation is going after 5 months so to me if nobody has been suspended yet that is a good thing. This is going to be a long process so any knee jerk reactions by people here or in the media is ridiculous. Without a doubt there are violations and we will be penalized but the death penalty talk is getting crazy.

NCAA, do you understand us now
Sometimes we feel a little mad
But don't you know that no one alive
Can always be an angel
When things go wrong we seem to be bad
But we're just a team whose intentions are good
Oh NCAA, please don't let us be misunderstood
NCAA, sometimes we're so carefree
With a joy that's hard to hide
And sometimes it seems that all we do is party
But then you're bound to see our other side
We're just a team whose intentions are good
Oh NCAA, please don't let us be misunderstood
If we seem a little edgy we want you to know
That we never mean to take it out on [the] U
Life has it's problems and we got our share
But that's one thing we never meant to do
Because we love U
Oh, Oh don't you know we're just young men
Have thoughts like any other ones
Sometimes we find ourselves long regretting
Some foolish things, some little simple things we've done
But we're just a team whose intentions are good
Oh NCAA, please don't let us be misunderstood

@Ohio...yea I do remember that at OSU. Sweater vest just really effed up when he lied to the NCAA. Same as Bruce Pearl in basketball. But the hypocrisy in selling jersey's really is absurd imo

hi gang!
we need to come up with a unity T-shirt. 86, where r u my man? everyone in the nation is talking about miami right now. it is a chance for canespace, to go on the map as the main site for cane fans. 86, come up with a unity T. dont make it more than $20. have a cathy line in the front and canespace web address in the back. especially those of us living outside miami. we wear the shirt to make a statement like the 'live strong' yellow wrist band by the cyclist, armstrong.
lets be defiant with the saying. how about:
FUCK THE NCAA!
WE ARE THE CANES!

It just hit me this morning. like others, i have ignored the calls of those using the fact that snitch-iro is a liar as an excuse. i've thought that because he is a scum bucket did not mean he was lieing all out. and then i thought, there are tons of holes in this guys story; hes a known liar; he wants to bring the U down. so then, the reason there are holes in his story is because hes lieing like hes lied b4. why is he lieing? hes lieing because he wants to bring the U down.

guys, this is from bleacher reports. check it out:
First and foremost, Nevin Shapiro is a convicted felon. He was recently incarcerated for a 20-year term for his involvement in a $930 million Ponzi scheme.
He is also a hypocrite and a liar who has presumably wanted to take as many people with him.
According to Steve Gorten and Shandel Richardson of the Sun Sentinel:
"One former UM player named in the Yahoo! report who's now in the NFL told the Sun Sentinel on Wednesday that Shapiro appeared less frequently around the program as Shannon's tenure progressed.
"The player said he felt Shapiro was trying to 'extort' money from those players he felt he built relationships with over the years. He said conversations with Shapiro usually centered on how the former booster was struggling financially.
"Once Shapiro was incarcerated for his role in the Ponzi scheme, the player said, he began receiving letters from prison requesting money. According to the player, someone called on Shapiro's behalf and asked if he wanted to 'buy the story off him' or else face the allegations."
That seems like a man bent on retribution. He has been described as a man full of contradictions and false statements, as evidenced in him cheating investors out of more than $80 million.
Why should we believe what he says?
Posted by: NigeianCane | August 20, 2011 at 12:52 PM
Watching Golden's interviews, it just occurred to me how much worse things would be right now if Randy Shannon still held the HC job. Golden manages to seem direct and responsive while he says nothing. Shannon just said nothing. The press coverage (crazy as it may seem) would be significantly MORE negative with Shannon at the helm.
Posted by: dj moonbat | August 20, 2011 at 12:59 PM
we need to send every decenting write up, all critical and all investigative write up that shows the holes in the yahoo story to the NCAA to make sure they are looking at it thoroughly and to make sure they see the lies in snitch-iro's claims. lets help ourselves and our team. mass email the NCAA.

Look, I'm one of the few people around here who doesn't bash Randy. I always had a soft spot for Randy.
But press relations were his absolute worst skill. And right now, press relations are unusually important. Al is chummily asking for patience from the press, and saying all the right things. Randy would just be stonewalling them, and leaving an unnecessary impression that he was hiding something.

Yes, Golden's record in an easier conference at a school with more assets to compete against it's fellow conference member's as he learned on the job doesn't impress me as much as Shannon's record in a (much) tougher conference doing the same at a school with less assets to compete against their fellow conference members, but hands down, Golden as a PR face is probably in the top 5 NCAA coaches you'd want in a red alert situation like this deflecting media fire during Q & A's for your favorite program.
As for heart attack Dee, Shannon told the AD he didn't like the little weasel, AD is where the compliance buck stops as his head of compliance works for him, what else do you need your coach to say? Maybe the AD was so busy getting that foot out the door preemptively that he tuned him out due to being easily distracted by Ponzi money being thrown down for athletic lounges? Kansas State diploma, worth it's weight as toilet paper for your backside.

Although I did always enjoy the thinly veiled air of contempt that Shannon had for stupid reporter questions, asked for the third time in 20 minutes or less, he always exhibited. He even would raise the Randy's eyebrow every once in a while ala Dwayne at a particularly tedious one being proffered. I can only imagine what quotable tautology he'd coin for his detractors to parrot in this situation, maybe, "A prison snitch is a prison snitch?"
Posted by: orange 'n green in the vein | August 20, 2011 at 02:11 PM
In any event I hope you aren't UM's or my relative's defense attorney sometime soon, as you continue to push unsubstantiated claims, banal commentary, and invariant 'the end is nigh' speculation. Not prejudging doesn't imply that those of us who want the process to unfold uncontaminated with prejudice are somehow pollyannas.
Good post Felipe not sure why people on here are jumping the ship already when there has not been any evidence presented what so ever. There is hear say, pics, and credit card statements but what else. Who cares nothing substantial so there is no reason to panic just yet. Makes the team look bad.

I'm waking up at the start of the end of the world,
But it's feeling just like every other morning before,
Now I wonder what my life is going to mean if it's gone,
The cars are moving like a half a mile an hour if that
And I started staring at the passengers who're waving goodbye
Can you tell me what was ever really special about me all this time?
But I believe the world is burning to the ground
Oh well I guess we're gonna find out
Let's see how far we've come
Let's see how far we've come
Well I, believe, it all, is coming to an end
Oh well, I guess, we're gonna pretend,
Let's see how far we've come
