The University of Miami announced a partnership Wednesday with NeuLion to provide Hurricanes fans with an enhanced and improved experience through the redesigned HurricaneSports.com.
UM has worked with NeuLion over the course of several months to deliver an inovative, custom design and layout that delivers news and information to Miami Hurricane fans around the world – anytime, anywhere. The new flexible layout of HurricaneSports.com will allow the department to adapt its delivery of news to feature the most important and engaging items at the most important times.
“Over the last two years, we have revamped our online philosophy and seen a tremendous response from our fan base to our focus on story-telling and engagement,” Associate AD for Communications and Marketing Chris Freet said. “With this new partnership, we focused on delivering that content to more platforms and in a more efficient manner than ever before.”
HurricaneSports.com will continue to crank out news, video, social media, blogs, score updates, shopping and much more. Canes All Access is now at your fingertips on every HurricaneSports.com page, as well as being housed in a newly-designed video portal experience for fans to browse the complete directory of on-demand video, as well as watch live video throughout the year.
Coming this fall will be live video for soccer, volleyball and football press conferences as well as live audio for all football games. Newly available will be condensed games and full-game replays of all football games this season. Check out Canes All Access for more information.
Also, launching this fall will be HurricaneSports.com mobile and tablet applications available for download on your iPhone, Android and iPad. Miami fans can stay up to date on all HurrricaneSports.com news, scores, schedules, rosters, live audio, video on-demand, photos and more.
“Between the new, high quality video offerings and the new mobile and tablet apps, I am confident fans will find it easier than ever to get information on every Hurricane team,” Freet said.
