I don't care about being classified. All I know is that I love the Cane's BUT that does not take precedence over my family or anything else for that matter. There are people in this country that have served and are still serving so that I can have the luxury of watching them in the freedom of my home. We are all fans in our own ways wrong or right so does that make any one of us a better fan than the next guy? If we are all a brotherhood of canes fans why do we attack each other as if we were enemies? Just because some of you are holier than thou? I don't know a whole lot and I don't claim to be an all know it all but one thing I do know is the I love canes football and I love it when they win but like all of us, hate it when they lose. Most Blacks voted for Obama because he was qualified to be Prez who just so happen to be Black. If voting just because of skin color alone why didn't blacks vote for Jesse Jackson or Al Sharpton when they ran for the Presidency back in the day Hmmmmmm?

Anyway I voted for the white Jew Bernie Sander how sad of me

Trump is America's president. I firmly believe this trump win is an indictment of the establishment more than it is a pro-trump message. But think about it, he just single handedly took on the entirety of the political establishment - BOTH sides - in a completely rogue fashion with less campaign capital and infrastructure.

Regardless of what side you are on, that is an incredibly remarkable feat.

Posted by: TheeMackJones | November 09, 2016 at 12:54 PM

This is going to hurt you TMJ. Data

Trump 2016: ~ 59,300,000ish

Romney 2012: 60,933,504 votes

McCain 2008: 59,948,323 votes

Where is the record # of Trump voters? It's not there. The rural vote was out, but the #s don't support your overall claim. What's bigger was a lack of turnout for Hillary. Lending more credence to the anti-establishment claim.

Good try though.

I would venture to say the average American's life will change very little, regardless of race and ethnicity.

Some are grossly exaggerating the effect this change will have.

There won't be mass deportations, no wall, very few new jobs for those who desperately need it and no change in the race issues facing America. Vetted Muslins will be allowed in and the Middle East will remain an unmitigated disaster.

THE MAN

I have a question that I noticed last night during coverage. They were showing a state by counties and if that county voted one way or another. Almost all states were red except for where the inner cities were they were blue. So my question is what/why do the inner cities always vote blue? What is happening from that party that is benefitting the inner cities so much for them to vote in that manner? They are inner cities!

As I understand it, you will be given some type of registration card, after a doctor approves it. With that card, you will be allowed to go to a dispensary, and purchase the medication.

FL as an example, majority of urban areas like Miami-Dade, Broward, Palm Beach, etc counties are blue vs smaller rural counties, majority red.

You can't rely on the 2016 totals yet. Absentee ballots are not fully tabulated for some time to come. The voter numbers continued to escalate for a week or two after the 2012 election.

By comparison:

2016: 59,680,035 (Clinton)

2012: 65,915,795 (Obama)

2008: 69,498,516 (Obama)

2004: 59,028,444 (Kerry)

So right now, both Clinton and Trump's totals are below where they will end up being.

This part is crazy:

"It’s mind-blowing to think a football program with the prestige Miami has didn’t have a training table for its football players until last season. They’re not even two years into properly feeding their football players when comparing the Hurricanes to the majority of teams they have to play week in and week out."

We only established a proper nutrition program in 2015?! What else did the previous regimes not do? Did the players have to operate on themselves when they were injured?!

TonyCane

Okay, read a little further:

"You can say what you want about Randy Shannon era or Al Golden era at Miami, but they also weren’t coaching with a full deck of cards. That's especially true for Golden, who pushed for things like a training table and negotiated with the school’s decision-makers about allowing football players to take just 12 credit hours during the fall instead of the minimum 15 to lighten the workload academically in season. Those are two things now in place for Richt, who is in position to have everything come up aces under his watch."

Aces on the field is all I care about.

BEERicane

Well, here are some situations it goes down.

1.) His employer used to provide healthcare for him and now instead has Obamacare after the employer decided to put all employees on the market.

2.) maybe he doesn't want health insurance and, damn it, it's his right not to carry it

3.) now insurers can deny or raise premiums on pre-existing conditions. This risk is now shared amongst the insured pool. So this goes away, he could save money.

I'm sure there are others but just brainstorming...

That's as stupid as the right wingers who claim Hillary kills off her political enemies. Quit getting your news and politics from media that are interested in driving ratings over being truthful.

BEERicane

As much as the left cries xenophobia, bigotry and racism by the right. Given all of this emotional vomit being spewed from the left, it is clear they are middle/rural America phobic. Guess what, these are the people who literally produce and feed your family. So if you don't like them and their values, how about you boycott them and what they stand for by stopping eating their food. That'll show em!

Foolish hypocrites. Get over it. Hillary lost, move on and keep eating the food the deplorables produced for you. Or don't..... the choice is yours.

Yea UMike I am going to follow your lead and give the Space a break since its been taken over by divisive, partisan, political bull crap. Smdh. Go Canes! Beat UVA!

Today I was watching different news channels and stopped on MSNBC.

The blond lady who hosts was exasperated, saying in the final days Clinton lined up the "who's who" to rally for her, then proceeded to say the names JayZ, Beyonce, Lady Gaga, Mylie Cyrus and Jon Bon Jovi.

I literally could not believe my ears.

Beer and Epi absolutely nailed it. The left has become a whiny, self absorbed haven for the disenfranchised, vocal fringe.

Everyone on here knows gay rights are very important to me. I have people very close to me who have led a life of shame and hiding, and that's not right.

But somewhere along the line LGBT, Muslim discrimination, Mexican immigrants and every other disenfranchised group became the face of the Democratic party.

Meanwhile a ton of every day Americans were mocked for their faith, their views, their beliefs and their place in society.

Everyone who owned a gun was a gun nut redneck. Anyone who believed in legal immigration was a bigot. People who backed police were racists. Women who were uncomfortable with a man dressed as a woman in their restroom were gay bashers. All this as their jobs were disappearing, their cities slowly eroding away and their futures becoming more uncertain.

The perpetually offended were taking over society and political correctness reached it's boiling point.

The people Democrats ignored and looked down their noses at saw Trump and said, warts and all, this guy represents me more than the status quo in Washington ever has and ever will.

Democrats have some serious soul searching to do.

Until then, butch the f up and stop your crying.

BEERicane

Meanwhile a ton of every day Americans were mocked for their faith, their views, their beliefs and their place in society.

Yup.

Clearly there is one undeniable fact - leftist opinions are more valid than the right. If they want you opinion, they will surely give it to you (read: media).

For all the hate rhetoric coming from the left they sure spew it at the right and now combine it with their tears.

1mg of Epi

The left and right operate out of the same divide and conquer playbook. They need to create enemies in order to drive turnout.

The left invents safe spaces, micro aggressions, rape culture, white privledge and false narratives (hands up don't shoot). They vilify white men, rural dwellers etc.

The right gives us conspiracy theories, illegal immigration fantasies, xenophobia fallacies, and on top of it all trivializes legitimate gripes of minority's (police violence).

Each side relies on lies to create enemies out of our own neighbors, and drives that animosity into turnout on Election Day.

If you really think trump wants to have open season on blacks you are an idiot. If you really think Obama wants to turn us into a Muslim country you're a moron.
