It is nice for fans to see a pro day, and nice for our players.
That being said passing in shorts with no pressure really is no indicator of ones ability to play in the NFL; it is for show only. Nice show but show.

I hope all our guys do well when it matters.

U just made me read a 2 year old argument I had with Lurker. Why? WHY?????

Go Canes!

Good times Epi.....good times.

Go Canes!

Speaking of good times, when they crush the vomit inducing Knicks tomorrow night at home the Heat will go from 11-30 this season to 38-38 and a firm grip on the 7th seed.

What a job Spoelstra has done this year, solidifying his place as a Top 5 NBA coach.

He was trying to show you I posted 1st.

VA CANE, i guess the only thing it does show it arm strength and timing but the film should show that much better then a scripted passing thing. Maybe in person arm strength is easier to determine though if you feel the wind and if you just get an idea of when he really tries hard and when he is just trying to be accurate.

Dude

I think they also watch the little things too. Like personality and interactions with coaches and teammates.

Hassan

Kuligowski on Garvin: "His first five practices are as good as I think I’ve seen for any freshman - the first five practices for sure.”

Dude

^^^ 3*, lol. Randy Russell is 2018's 3* lol.

You don't pick up 20 sacks in a season against high end S. Florida competition unless you're special.

Said it months ago, this kid would have a been a high end 4 Star/borderline 5 Star if he had committed to Bama, Michigan or FSU.

Same thing with Amari Carter. Palm Beach County defensive player of the year with huge numbers and he was a 3 Star.

This defense is going to be terrifying.

I think we can start banking on terrifying from now on. The D alone should carry us into the ACC CG from now on. I think we need another season or 2 to really know who we are on O though.

I thought it was interesting that he said Bethel has committed to playing DT and is about 275 already. Coach Kul said he looks good and has a real chance to make that his home. I think that in a year, that could turn out to be a very good move for everyone.

Flynn is cooperating in exchange for immunity... this is gonna be FUN!!!

Dude

If Redwine can take the FS spot and run with it, Miami's 2ndary can be excellent. Im already expecting big things from Jaquan. It will be critical that we have a 3rd and 4th safety ready to go because of the absurd ejection rule for targeting. For CBs, its a wait and see thing, hopefully a guy like Delaney has Corn Elder kind of play out there, it will really help us figure out the rest of the pecking order. Young has been good from the get go and coaches and players are saying Jackson has really stepped up. Add to that mix one of the top JC DBs & one of the country's top corners, we could be A-OK in the fall. In 2018, things get down right scary.

SHould be Coach of the Year

Nice article 86, I felt like I was there

Dude

In games against FSU, S.C. & N.C. Delaney has held his own and teams have decided not to test him. He looks like the honest goods to me.

VA Cane

Hassan,
I agree it is good to see in person for reasons you noted; perhaps even more it is that human element...instead of tons of prospects the NFL guys get to connect and see a kid in HIS college setting with his people...and how they interact. It also gets that 1 on 1 with the kid and the pro people....got to count for something....after all its all about people when ya get to the nuts and bolts.

I had a coaches/mentors dream come true earlier tonight. I told you thank Frank Mason III played for me in the Hopewell Bowl tournament 7 or 8 years ago at 14.....we got to be friends...I call him FM III....he won the AP Player of the year today.....and both him mom and he called me. I am proud of him....he is a nice young man. I coached him for just a few games, but we established a good friendship...he asked me a lot of questions about life......He did this all alone....but he always credits Mom team coach....and he tried to throw me in there ....no way...I am just proud to know him and hope our time together helped him in all paths....very very proud of him!!!!!

VA Cane

he and his Mom...damn I cannot type...new keyboard when get some $!!!!!

VA Cane

His Dad was there...they have reconnected over time....it is great for that family!!!!!

Dolphins greats Taylor, Madison join St. Thomas Aquinas coach staff;

"In another staff change for St. Thomas, Ryan Schneider is out as offensive coordinator after two years with the program. Former University of Miami quarterback Ryan Collins will take over that role. Collins, who played for the Hurricanes from 1992-95, spent the past four seasons as an assistant at Flanagan. He was previously part of Harriott’s coaching staff at University School."
