Go Canes!

Roscoe Parrish

Old Skool

So Rickie Fowler shoots a 65 which is still not as great an achievement as landing that girlfriend of his. Yowza.

SOUP

Skool...well he is young, good looking, rich and famous so he does have that going for him.

Old Skool

I was young once.

Terrance Sullivan

BTW softball teams usually have 19 players on the team. I just checked this year's Canes baseball roster and we had 31 players lol.

Who is concerned about TE and RB? It's got me freaked out!

BigWindyCane1

Had a chance to swing by and watch some action at the CMR camps. CMR and his staff are all over recruits early, and the position coaches are forming relationships. The camps are well organized. Sitkowski is big and he can run. He has potential. Lingard is tall for a running back and has some room to grow and fill out. Lingard is a nice, friendly kid. Lingard is definitely better and more athletic than Cook.

Paradise camp is next week. CMR and his staff invited a few recruits to attend. A lot of outstanding talent in south Florida showed up. I expect more commits for the 2019 class

We still talking about Clubs and WWIN?

Terrance Sullivan

Soup I am very concerned about our lack of depth at RB, and TE.

Terrance Sullivan

I didn't get a invite to Paradise Camp. I guess being 6'0 290 isn't appealing lol.

Terrance Sullivan

Great stuff Big Windy Cane!

Terrance Sullivan

I also expect that we will have QB by committee this year.

TE?

Via CIS...

Per Gus Bradley, when asked what stood out most about OTAs:

“Rayshawn has done a nice job, the safety we drafted out of Miami. To come in and play with poise, to be able to play fast with poise (is impressive). I think for him, sometimes you have to cover tight ends with safeties in this league, and the little bit we’ve seen from him doing that, he’s a younger guy who has caught our eye…. We’re trying to get more flexible with our safeties, but right now, he is more of a down safety for us. In OTAs, to see his ability to cover tight ends, and to play where things are happening behind him, sometimes that takes an adjustment, because it’s really a LB type guy. He’s jumped in nice with that.”

Joe Whitt's full -and very interesting- comment on Packers CB Herb Waters:

"He's further along at this point than I thought He'd be. I hate that He got hurt, hopefully He'll be ready for training camp. If He is, He's going to (push)Gunt, Q, D, Kevin, House, He has that type of ability in His body. Don't be surprised. Like I told you back in 09' about Tramon, how I said Tramon was the best cover guy we had, I think you guys said I was crazy at the time. This kid has that kind of ability. He does."

"The way He was covering before He got hurt. Didn't matter who He was covering. He was covering them. All of them. All of the receivers. We'll see if He can do it coming back."

CaneRock

And to think Herb & Jenkins only had 1 year of good College coaching between em'.

CaneRock

I swear man, if I ever open a strip club, I'm naming that $h!t Collusion. Either I'm tired of hearing that word, or it's an epiphany.

Terrance Sullivan

Lol CR

SOUP

CR...you want to find collusion go look into why Al Golden was hired. I swear that must have been collusion between the presidents of FSU and UF and Shalala.

It's a great thing to see CMR himself standing in the hot sun watching kids perform and posing for photos with the campers this past week. CMR is a great CEO for the football program. And his coaches really know their stuff. I saw them take time to teach talented recruits certain techniques. Dugans identified what WRs lacked and he taught WRs how to improve dramatically. I was amazed. Searles, Rumph, Banda, Jon Ritchie, and several other coaches really taught these kids of varying skill levels. Even kids who could never play at the university of Miami go some attention. They really did a great job, though, of forming relationships. I was very impressed. Glad I took a could of hours out of my day to observe CMR and his coaches camping. I hope I get a chance to drop by the paradise camp to observe

We still talking about WWIN big gig in SoBe?

Terrance Sullivan

Big Windy Cane thanks for the insight Brotha.

SOUP

Al Gore is a pimp.

Go Canes!

ALPHA DOG

Nobody made more big plays at crucial moments than Miami receiver commit Mark Pope.

The most explosive player at the event, the nation’s No. 2 player at his position per 247Sports showed the type of difference-maker he could be in Coral Gables when his number was called to win a late afternoon game. Nursing an ankle injury, Pope had to put his cleats back on while sitting on the sideline, check back into the game at the end to run a double-move and catch the game-winning touchdowns against a very-game AWP team.

Pope is in the discussion if not the outright leader as America’s top deep threat and he had several 40-yard scores on this day.

The 6-foot-2, 175-pound Pope is one of the jewels of a Miami class that 247Sports ranks No. 2 nationally

Go Canes!

Pope, Blades and Lingard look to be the three must keeps of this class.

Terrance Sullivan

Happy Father's Day Canespacers!

CGNC

Happy Father's Day to All!

WWIN, I have been out of breath, arms heavy, a little tired, hoisting the Stanley Cup... it is HEAVY...LOL. Good series by the Predators

SOUP LOL at that pic of me and Canefreak that you took...

Now that hockey season is over I can focus back on the Canes

C A N E S Canes!

Terrance Sullivan

CGNC we hope to see each other tailgating at the Rock more this season. It was a pleasure to finally.meet you the last game of last season.

BigWindyCane1

Pope is definitely a big play, clutch receiver. Pope has it all, and he hasn't scratched the surface of his potential yet

BigWindyCane1

Lingard is tall for a RB. Lingard looks to be as tall as Choc, but not as thick yet. Lingard is ripped. Lingard is much better than Cook from Central. Lingard is a polite kid, but seems to have a mean streak in him. Lingard is legitimately long, fast and very athletic for a RB, and he has room to pack on some size on his legs. Lingard is probably a legit 4.4 RB, and very strong. DBs will hate to tackle him for fear of injury or embarrassment. When Walton leaves for the NFL, Lingard and Davis will play right away.

Sitkowski is also tall for his position. He was one of the tallest QBs at the camp. He looks a legitimate 6'5", and has a good arm. Sitkowski is fast but not shifty. I don't know what his instincts are because you never know until he gets under center with pads on. But he looks like the kind of recruit that CMR is looking for in terms of size and athleticsm

Go Canes!
