Go Canes!

One or two sir?

Posted by: Go Canes! | July 30, 2017 at 08:34 PM

I would go with TWO and if VA Canes needs a second we will cover it. If not we will buy it from you and sell it at the game or give it to a military vet Cane like Dee Cane or others.

Posted by: SOUP | July 30, 2017 at 09:33 PM

I'll get four. If DeeCane is a veteran, his ticket is on me as well.

SOUP

DeeCane (was stationed in Alaska), IraqiCane (special forces did tours of duty there) and CaneSince82 (commissioned Army officer) are all vets. Hassan is a cool Muslim dude who did some secret work "over there" for the good guys also. AngryCane is also a good guy (Lt. or Capt. U.S. Army) but not on the blog anymore.

We have others too, I just can't remember them all?

The Dude

^^^ Wow... Sinister says wow also.

SOUP

SinisterCane was a submariner is the U.S. Navy.

The Dude abides.

Go Canes!

Just tried to buy seats, but the only thing available is club and they are $275 each.

There are no 400 level tickets available at all.

More than willing to chip in but $600 for two is a little steep agree?

SOUP

Go Canes...hold off, too expensive, Terrance may find a solution.

The Dude

^^^ great fans, great people right there.

Terrance Sullivan

We will get it figured out.

AeroCane

Hi Canespace friends!
I don't post very often but wanted to say you all are great and it's fun to read this blog! Thanks Soup and all!

Terrance Sullivan

Go Canes Stub Hub has 300 level tickets running for 110.00 a ticket brother. I will also ask around to see if any of my friends who are season ticket holders who would have a better price.

Will donate as soon as you all confirm how much VA's ticket costs.

Just let me know.

KYcane

I offered up my extra seat to VA when he first discussed coming to the game.

Go Canes!

Think that's easier than me purchasing and having to get him the ticket but willing to do whatever.

Terrance Sullivan

Boom KY coming through in the clutch as always.

Terrance Sullivan

Of course being the Planner that I am if any one is interested in going to the LSU vs Miami Game on Saturday September 1st 2018 at AT&T Stadium in Arlington Texas.. I am going to the Game and hopefully more Canespacers will join me. I will book the La Quinta Inn Arlington Texas Six Flags Hotel. It is next door to Six Flags over Texas, a nice Sports Bar called Humperdinks. It is within 2 miles of AT&T Stadium Home of the Dallas(Texas) Cowboys and Globe Life Park(Home of the Texas Rangers). I will book the Hotel when I get back from our Season Home Opener due to the face that you can only book a Hotel a year out.

Terrance Sullivan

Cant wait to see U all in 32 days. Go Canes!

Go Canes!

Chicago Cubs give Bartman a championship ring.

What an absolutely fantastic and classy gesture by that organization.

The amount of sh*t that dude took because the Cubs choked away that game and series was ridiculous.

Old Skool

In other news
Was talking to someone about Penn State recently
A Sweet Caroline sing along used to be a staple at the home football games
Not anymore.
The lyrics "touching me, touching you" hit too close to home in the Sandusky era.

He did f*ck up, but he didnt deserve to be treated like that. A better fan doesnt make that move.

CaneRock

Marlins should've gave Bartman a ring in 03'. Greatest tipped ball since Kenny Calhoun baby!

CaneRock

Watching replays of our early 2K teams, and these ESPNU replays with Clemson, noticed 2 things each about Dorsey & Watson:

Great field vision, & they knew where every receiver was on every play, resulting in getting the ball into the hands of every eligible receiver possible, in almost every game, year in & year out.

So not a SINGLE person guessed: Who Am I?

And this is what's wrong with our country today. Everyone thinks they deserve something. How about you put the work in at college and then you can get paid when your elidgible. Your already getting a full scholarship so what more do you want. Kids would die to have that chance for a FREE education. Its just silly we even talk about STUDENT athletes even getting paid.

These kids bust their butts to get there and some big wig whose only skill is networking shouldn't be taking advantage of these student athletes effort like that.

Welcome to life my friend!!!

thirstybuzzardcane

These kids are playing a game they love to play!!!! You make it sound like its a job they hate to do.

thirstybuzzardcane

Do you think its alright for high schoolers to get paid?

thirstybuzzardcane

They should do away with college football then and just start minor league football. How many fans would go to minor league football games?....Not many! People go to games to suport their school and that logo, its not because of a players.

RICHT ASSESSES PERRY AFTER FIRST PRACTICE

*** Official Beat Joe Green Thread ***-img_5567-jpg

Ariz: Mark Richt broke down what he saw from freshman QB N'Kosi Perry after fall practice #1 .

"He's got very good passing fundamentals, which is what I thought. I've seen him throw at camp and 7-on-7s, but in the context of what were asking him to do, he really does have good quarterback passing fundamentals. Not a lot of wasted motion, he's got nice zip on the ball, he understands touch. He's a passer, not just a thrower."

Perry seems to be on par with what is expected of him physically, but the question remains is he understanding the concepts, language, and everything that comes with leading an offense at the quarterback position.

"I'd say he's getting about 50% of it, which is probably pretty good for the pace were going at," Richt added. "We'll install at a pace that's faster than comfortable for him, but he'll catch up."

Richt said that Malik Rosier and Evan Shireffs ran the first team offense today, with Perry and fellow freshman Cade Weldon running the 2nd and 3rd units. Richt also said, "we may continue the same rotation, but I'm not sure."

SinisterCane

N'Kosi Perry will be the starting QB by week 1

thirstybuzzardcane

Better start paying high school kids too! Coaches in Texeas and the Southeast make 6 figure salaries! Where do you stop?

thirstybuzzardcane

Were guys flying around today?

thirstybuzzardcane

And the point is, these college athletes are already getting paid!

thirstybuzzardcane

Its nice to see Cager on the practice field. He'll be our best receiver this year!

thirstybuzzardcane

I am the employer!

CaneRock

#1 player in the 2019 ESPN 60 for basketball...Vernon Carey Jr....crazy.

thirstybuzzardcane

Like I said, if you don't like the scholarship your signing feel free not to sign and try to make the NFL on your own.

thirstybuzzardcane

LOL...in the REAL WORLD, you know damn well you wouldn't let your employer strong arm you into signing a piece of paper surrendering your rights to make additional income.

Mafia $h!t.

So if one of my employees is doing side work for one of my contractor to make extra money that is alright?

thirstybuzzardcane

I see your points. I just don't think a kid on a academic scholarship should be paid.

thirstybuzzardcane

Why should there be any issue with this?

Posted by: CaneRock | August 01, 2017 at 03:09 PM
