Yes Sir UMike.

Hmm Rosier, Richards and Berrios, Harley, Harris and Dallas. Elmer Fudd would have a stroke cheering for that crowd.

Are we done recruiting at the QB position? Love the 2 we have coming in next year, but if we can get 1 more stud, go for it.

I meant RB, not QB.

Bill Walsh:

"The single trait that separates great quarterbacks from good quarterbacks is the ability to make the great, spontaneous decision, especially at a crucial time. The clock is running down and your team is five points behind. The play that was called has broken down and 22 players are moving in almost unpredictable directions all over the field.

This is where the great quarterback uses his experience, vision, mobility and what we will call spontaneous genius. He makes something good happen. This, of course, is what we saw in Joe Montana when he pulled out those dramatic victories for Notre Dame."

He took a shot in the end zone – I think it was the first series – a perfect ball. From then on, he solidified the overall feeling that he can do this. He came out and had a tremendous camp, he really did."

So was it motivational gamesmanship?

Not hearing this kind of stuff is what had me concerned.

All we heard was that the qbs aint look good.

Berrios could just be toeing the party line and staying on the good side of the qb.

It is promising to see Rosier endorsed by the longest tenured reciever.

TruCane81

I think Duke game IS who Rosier is.

We get that type of poise, accuracy and ball protection, the question of are we back will be rhetorical.

thirstybuzzardcane

Rosier is a poor mans Russell Wilson! I see some similiarities in the two.

WWIN

The most important thing I like about Malik is he's NOT Brad Kaaya LMAO! Nah I'm just joking... don't kill me Tsully and Go Canes

The MOST important thing I like about him is that he seems to be TOUGH! Mentally and physically.

I don't know bout that Thirsty.

Wilson looked like a NFL qb the first time I saw him start at NC state. He can spin that ball with the best of him.

I hope you are dead on (you could be with good playcalling).

Any comparison to Russell in Malik's play will have us in thr acc cg primed for a playoff run.

After Le??? left in 2010 , the Cavs had 6 1st Rd. picks, including 3 #1 overalls, & 2 top 5 picks...and all they have to show for it is Tristan Thompson...Tristan Thompson!

And how ironic that they just traded the #1 overall pick from the 2011 draft (Irving), for the last overall pick in the 2011 draft.

The Canes should win the Coastal. The Canes have a very realistic shot at being 11-1 or even 12-0 going into the ACC Championship Game. This season, CMR has a team that is built more closely in alignment with his coaching staff's philosophy. A mobile RPO QB, a big athletic offensive line, speedy playmakers at receiver and a great running back on offense. On defense, this staff has their fast defense that runs to the ball and tackles well. They also have speed on special teams. We will find out a lot about how far this staff can take the Canes this year and the years to come.

This goes out to TBC, WWIN,and all the other BK haters out there since BK was such a Bum and was our biggest liability last year according to you all and your legion that feels this way I am expecting the Offense to instead of averaging 35 a game like they did last year to average 45 a game this year, and I am expecting them to go undefeated and win the National Championship

This chump can't lose his roster position quick enough. As early as halftime of the band performance being sold as a glorified football scrimmage is about the best case scenario for this and future seasons.

Fair catch ganes era garbage can't go with him soon enough either as well.

Next loss in a row to the primary rival sets a series record for them and breaks the tie started under Butch . . .

Thanks for the cliff notes!!!

TonyCane

I think BK is an above average QB, probably our best since Brock Berlin. He was diminished by playing with a particularly bad offensive line.

I doubt that Jacory Harris, Kirby Freeman, Stephen Morris, or Robert Marve would have done better. Maybe Kyle Wright, but who knows how he could have performed with more than four scholarship receivers.

thirstybuzzardcane

Don't get me wrong about Kaaya, I would've loved for him to come back, but I wasn't upset when he left....Don't know if that makes sense or not?

No the Hurricanes did it in his first start. Just like the Hurricanes won and lost all the games Kaaya started.

The miracle return, the blocked PAT, the worst defenses in this schools history, being 25 players under the limit, crucial fumbles, bad overthrows, drops, offensive lines and play calling won and lost games, not one player.

Go Canes!

Perry went 6-16 with two picks today for the scout team.

Posted by: thirstybuzzardcane | August 24, 2017 at 12:41 PM

That's fair. Didn't it turn out that someone forced Morris to play on a partially torn Achilles tendon through part (or all of) his last season?

Kenbrell Thompkins getting some talk for the Jets, who resigned him last week:

http://www.nj.com/jets/index.ssf/2017/08/jets_mailbag_christian_hackenberg_josh_mccown.html

"The Jets' receiver situation is so in flux that I could see Thompkins making the roster and being the No. 3 receiver, or not making the roster at all. It depends on how the next two preseason games unfold, and whether Hammond can seize the returner job."

UMike

I think the biggest issue with BK isnhe never took that big step forward FANS expected him to. He was kinda the same QB in his last start that he was in his first. That being said he was probably the best we have had since Berlin. If Morris had more time with Fish he would be, but he regressed his last year. BK is not all world, but I would take him EASILY over any qb on our roster

And that wasn't a knock on Kaaya...I wish he was here this season..I just think some give him a bad rap because he never took that huge step some of us Thought he would. The hype of being a potential 1st rounder hurt him.

U asked that question before and I answered your questions before. Not wasting my time doing it again.

Posted by: Terrance Sullivan | August 24, 2017 at 01:24 PM

WHEN???

You might have thought you answered... but no

Terrance Sullivan

I said that BK made his mind up that he was turning pro and quite wasn't taking anymore unnecessary hits without getting paid, Coach Richt obviously would have liked to have BK come back and he presented him his draft grade which was a 3rd round Draft pick. This leads to your second question obviously he was under drafted. Yes BK wasn't a 1St rounder and by the way I never said he was. I always thought he was a 2ND to 3rd rounder. I figured early 4th round at worst.

Terrance Sullivan

I would say to those that love bringing up where BK was drafted into the relation of team wins and especially big wins do us a favor and check out all the guys drafted in front of BK and give us the rundown on their careers and teams success etc. Their draft grade and where they were drafted. I can name you 4-6 quarterbacks who was drafted in front of BK that team didn't have the team success Miami had. But do the research and report back here to the space.

WWIN

BK is not all world, but I would take him EASILY over any qb on our roster

CMR wouldn't... but maybe you know more about it than him tho? 😂

Ever consider the fact that Kaaya just doesn't have another step and that's just who he is? In that case the same can be said about Golden... his stats looked good coming from Temple till you read the fine print. Based on what you said Kaaya was playing like a freshman his JUNIOR year... how's that good again?

30CINCO

Is there a video somewhere that shows CMR and Brad's conversation Or CMR's opinion on who he thinks is better that I missed?

WWIN

Posted by: Terrance Sullivan | August 24, 2017 at 03:58 PM

Yeah CMR sure does have a funny way of showing his QB he wanted him back (by not talking to him) 😂! But he obviously wanted him back???

You figured early 4th at the WORST... he went TWO rounds later than that... so what does that tell ya? If Golden wasn't coaching up there he might not have went then!

Now you getting into what TEAMS did when we're talking about INDIVIDUALS? Lol
