Good thing I waited a day to post something.

It could have been much worse from the pain and anguish that was from being at the game all giddy with Victory in our eyes and then the fate of losing staring us back in the face.

Or it might have come out as: "Pleased To Meet U, Hope U Guess My Name?

LB De’Andre Wilder seemed to play very well yesterday , and so has safety Carter and some of the other backups. I have noticed that a lot of teams target McCloud, and McCloud and Redwine always seems to be involved in all of the big plays that other teams get on the Canes defense. As a matter of fact, teams tend to target them more often.

I think DIAZ needs to give some of these other players reps over McCloud. McCloud played better against ND, but it seems opponents usually target him with great success. McCloud has some good plays, but he also has the worst defensive breakdowns of any player. For example, McCloud did cause that fumble recovery on the punt return, but he is out of position a lot giving opponents big plays. One day the switch may come on and everything comes together. But so far, MCCloud frustrates me. IMO, McCloud is not yet in the same category as Pinkney and Quarterman.

If I'm Manny Diaz, I'm not leaving Miami for at least 4 more years. Same goes for the rest of the defensive staff. If they keep this up, in 4 years, he could have a masterpiece defense that he can ONLY build at Miami, it could be his life's work, something that he may never do again.

The most Athletic QB to play at the U. Not the the best QB. I'll take it right now it's helping us win games we've lost the last 10 years +.

This has nothing to do was Kaaya he was a way better passer but on the bright side we play at noon on Friday with the extra day for the ACCCG

The sheer number of players the Canes are using on defense is amazing. The substitutions are crazy.

DC Diaz is very good.

DL Coach K is crazy good.

From Russell Rose on Facebook:

"The most alarming stat in college football is the fact that the Miami Hurricanes defensive line hasn’t had a holding call for them since the FSU game, 476 plays ago. This is absolutely ridiculous. The ACC Football offensive lines aren’t that good."

Pointing out Malik is completing a lower percentage than he was has nothing to do who our qb was last year.

Playoffs should have always been 16 teams.

ALWAYS!

Every conference champion gets an automatic bid and the other slots filled by committee.

Didnt win your conference? STFU and put your fate in the hands of the bureaucrats where it belongs.

Incorporate the major bowls into the rounds withe classic match ups and conference affiliations.

We played 15 games in high school to win state. The too many games argument is beyond ridiculous.

This is so easy.

Why wasnt it done 50 years ago?

Quite true and all that. For instance, already the ANTI-MIAMI sentiment is roaring loudly among the college football media-nexus ( Telly, print, and radio. ), that Miami should drop to No. 4, or be completely out of the Top 4!!!!!!! hUh.

One sampling, among an array of other opinions- I heard this opinion on ESPN radio Monday AM. ESPN/SEC college football pundit, Marcus Spears, says that Miami HASN'T DONE ENOUGH yet and what not. In fact, he opined that Miami shouldn't be in the Top 4 and all that ( Spears would put Whisky in the Top 4. ). For instance, he based his FLAWED argument on Miami's close wins, yet HE FAILED to even mention Miami's BYTCH SLAPPINGS on Va. Tech and MEDIA DARLING Notre Dame. Ouch, ouch, ouch.

Nevertheless, I give Marco kudo's only because he played in the NFL and what not.

Also, 3 of four computer rankings are still NOT giving Miami any kind of respect and all that. Matter of fact, Miami DROPPED two notches in three of the following computer rankings: ESPN, Sagarin's and S&P college football power rankings. However, the ONLY computer ranking which has been consistent and reliable has been Nolan Warren's ELO rating system. Warren has Miami No. 2. Matter of fact, his Top 4 are oddly similar to last weeks Top 4 playoff rankings. Yikes. Whereas ESPN, Sagarin's and S&P's DON'T even rank Miami in their respective TOP SIX!! Go figure.

Nolan Warren's current Top 5

1. Roll Tide, Roll

2. Miami Hurricanes

3. Badgers

4. Tony the Tiger

5. Boomer Sooner

Bottom line: Miami wins their next two games and there is no absolute way the CFP selectors can RAILROAD Miami, and keep them out of the playoffs. But then again, U never know. hUh.

His Royal Dudeness

There's no way a 2 loss Auburn team is number 1.

Itd probably go.

1. Clemson
2. Oklahoma
3. Auburn
4. Miami
5. Wisconsin
6. Alabama
7. Georgia

TheeMackJones

Twilight Zone scenario of the Orange and Green sort.

In cold, windy early winter conditions, Miami narrowly defeats LOWLY Pittsburgh by a late fourth-quarter FG- less than two minutes in the game. Then defeats mighty Clemson by only ONE POINT. Because Clemson doesn't convert a possible game winning " two-point ' conversion. Whereas Wisconsin CRUSHES lowly Minnesota and ROLLS over Urban Liar's Buckeye's in the Big 10 title game- Wisconsin wins by a solid 14 points.

Would the CFP suits put Wisconsin in over Miami?

His Royal Dudeness

I think the playoff committee is just trying to set it up in a way that makes sure 4 conf champs get in, regardless of how good anyone is or their resumes.

TheeMackJones

Posted by: His Royal Dudeness | November 20, 2017 at 12:05 PM

Check out my Twilight Zone scenario. I could envision Wisconsin getting the Final spot, if Miami NARROWLY defeats the Panthers and Tony the Tiger. Whereas Wisconsin ROLLS over the lowly Golden Gophers and defeats the Buck's by TWO touchdown's.

SEC: Champ gets in. Bama, Auburn or UGA.

I beg to disagree. The nefarious committee has already been CRITICAL of Miami's close wins early in the season. In other words, the committee is just following suit of the numerous college football pundits, whom have harped on endlessly about Miami's narrow wins and all that. Yet approximately 60% of these college football pundits NEVER mention Miami's shattering wins over Va. Tech and MEDIA DARLING Notre Dame! hUh.

The only way the ACC doesnt get a spot is both teams lose their last games to S. Carolina & Pitt.

TheeMackJones

Posted by: His Royal Dudeness | November 20, 2017 at 12:14 PM

Perhaps. However, you failed to mention the ELEPHANT in the committee room- no pun intended. Because I can still SEE-r the SEC champ, and a ONE LOST Bama getting in over either the ACC/Big 10 champ. Which means either an undefeated Miami or Wisconsin team gets the SHAFT up the U Know What. Ouch!

The best case scenario would be for Miami to be ranked either No. 1 or No. 2 ( Bama loses to Auburn this Saturday for the latter scenario to happen. ) going into their game with mighty Clemson and then fly home with their first ACC title trophy. Then there is NO ABSOLUTE way the CFP suits could RAILROAD Miami's fine season and what not.

1mg Of Epi

The reason OSU is in the discussion is

She's annoying but her OSU 2 loss argument is very solid.

-Alabama wins out. Miami wins out. Oklahoma wins out. Then u have 2 loss PAC 12 and big 10 champs to choose for the last spot and Osu is better than USC.

No other one loss teams

OSU gets the nod. No brainer.

TheeMackJones

I've officially become an Alabama fan for one Saturday in a lifetime of college football Saturdays. hUh. In other words, I'm pulling for Auburn to have THREE losses once the Iron Bowl is officially over. dUh. That way the CFP committee could not have two SEC teams in the playoff's!!

Yet, Iowa has loss TWO games in a row since their win over Ohio St., and could lose to LOWLY Nebraska this Friday. Which means Iowa would have a three game losing streak, and finish 6-6. Whereas USC loss to MEDIA DARLIHNG Notre Dame in South Bend, and loss to a WINNING PAC-12 team. In other words, Ohio St. would have ONE BAD loss on their resume and all that. Whereas USC wouldn't have any ' bad losses. '
