MattInNY (Call Sign Viper)

I love this time of the year!

SlingBlade

from previous blog

well i was replaying my video of the miami vs lsu game...and at the end of the game there was a little skirmish in the tunnel, as most of you know....and with my own two eyes i saw "The Truth" there...so i know who he is...and his secret is safe with me ;)
just one question? whered you get that nose?lol j/k

86Cane

86 is this the best record of any college
teams in all sports???

Miami made an NCAA-record 37th consecutive postseason appearance when it faced Jacksonville Friday afternoon. Nebraska's football team had made it to 35 straight bowl games before the streak was snapped in 2007.

Posted by: Montreal-Cane | May 29, 2009 at 09:34 PM

I DO BELIEVE THAT TO BE TRUE?

SlingBlade

ty for the write up about the game 86...

MattInNY (Call Sign Viper)

Huge run for BCC in the 9th. At least a 2 run lead heading to the bottom of the 9th. Not a shocker in my opinion if BCC hangs on to win. Burgos is a high draft pick and BCC is very good.

busy_cane

According to GameTracker, BCC is up 7-5 over the Gators as they head to the bottom of the 9th inning. 3 more outs for BCC and we get a rematch with BCC.

-cheers

The Truth

1st:

WHY WOULD YOU RELAY THAT??!!!

2nd:

I was not in the tunnel.

3rd:

My nose is perfect thank you very much.

MattInNY (Call Sign Viper)

Heart of the order due for the Gators in the 9th, they won't go quietly.

busy_cane

Runner on 1st - tying run at the plate - no outs - bottom of the 9th. Will the Gayturds come through or choke?

What does the Legion think?

-cheers

The Truth

Who wants to get cracked with a helmet...not I.

MattInNY (Call Sign Viper)

Truth, we talk baseball this time of year, get w/ the program! There is plenty of time for football later.

busy_cane

Batter walked.

UF has runners on 1st and 2nd with no outs.

Probability of UF win - 26.362%

-cheers

SlingBlade

The Truth= Dan LeBatard..........?

MattInNY (Call Sign Viper)

BCU is going to blow this!

busy_cane

BCC pitcher has clear control issues.

Probability of UF win increasing - 31.385%

-cheers

busy_cane

UF single.

Runner on second scores.
Now 7-6.

Runners on first and third with no outs and a BCC pitcher who clearly has no control.

Probably of UF win increases to 49.638%.

-cheers

SlingBlade

anyone see that Ohio State lost in their regional to UGA...final score 24-8
man i love to see osu lose no matter the sport

busy_cane

Here comes the hook!

The Truth

I, for one, believe Jon was right to cheat on Kate. She's a b*tch AND a horrible whore of a mother. she leans away from him. She hates him. She hates everything about her life. Her children deserve SO MUCH BETTER>

I hope whom ever he chose to plug was at least sweet and hot.

Good for him, I say.

F@ck the gayturds...they won't win.

The Truth

Matt Swing brought it up, not me...

Who cares about gayturd anything anyway?

The Truth

And can someone explain to me why House Hunters International ALWAYS shows gay men couples looking for homes?

Is it that Gay men are the only americans looking to by real estate internationally?

I don't get it...

...can you all tell Ms. Truth is on the road and I have to stay home to be "respectful"?

i am B O R E D.

 Montreal-Cane

Bases loaded 1 out the turds might face us tomorrow... bot. of the 9th 7-6 BC

busy_cane

I care! Sort of. I would rather beat the Gayturds on Saturday in front of a crowd in Gainesville rather than beat BCC in Gainesville in front of a mostly empty stadium that has maybe 50 Hurricane fans - I'm sure Soup or 86 will make the trip with OcalaCane!

-cheers

UMike

Guys...thanks for all the support, it's appreciated. This just REALLY SUCKS! I have about $1,000 to my name after all bills are paid, JUST started to save a little after starting a business. Now I have basically 7 days to hire a lawyer in California where the cheapest is $285 an hour and I have to put a $3,500 retainer to start with. I'm totally lost. The lawsuit is against my corporation, but also list my fiance and her mother and me as individuals because were officers for the corporation. I do not know if they can actually sue us individually, I thought as a corporation you were protected. My fiance's mother actually has assets unlike us, other wise I would just let the case default. Does anyone know any law forums when I can ask questions? And to think..all this because of a lie that everyone can see through, but I have to go through all this to prove it wrong.

 Montreal-Cane

Let's go Canes! beat the...out of them tomorrow...

busy_cane

Two run single - Gayturds win.

Can't wait to beat them on Saturday.

-cheers

MattInNY (Call Sign Viper)

Miami vs. Florida tomorrow. Should be a good one, wish I was there.

Unbelievable BCU blew that game.

SlingBlade

anyone else think theres still a slim possibility that John Wall comes to the U?

heres my thinking...john calipari is under investigation for some misdeeds at the university of memphis..if he is found guilty the ncaa can impose sanctions against the university of memphis and also john calipari...the most likely punishment for calipari is a year suspension because he is no longer with the university of memphis...and if calipari is not coaching kentucky for one year, and Wall is considered a one and done prospect, does wall still play there? or does the U say no thankyou ala that one running back from kansas whos name i cant remember...."selective memory"

86Cane

Truth...stop talking TRASH and get UMike a REAL lawyer like J to get this little "problem" to go away!

And do it NOW...

canechic

Umike is the suit against your corporation alone or are their others?

Send me an email at tlwflores@hotmail.com

canechic

What time is the game tomorrow?

86Cane

Love to play the Gates. We swept them earlier this year when OcalaCane and family was there and we will again.

OcalaCane will U be on the scene once again?

MattInNY (Call Sign Viper)

Truth, I get it. And the answer to your question resides in the White House.

I don't know the basis of the suit against you, but you might be able to get a lawyer to take the case on retainer if you have a tortius interference claim and can countersue.

Good luck.

-cheers

86Cane

CGNC, Canechic, pb and Truth...You all need to bring out your legal resources to help UMike. He's a good kid...

MattInNY (Call Sign Viper)

UMike, used to live out there my friend. Hated every minute of it. CA laws are not friendly to businesses. Not sure of the nature of your issue but I wish you luck.

From the Sun-Sentinel:

Miami catcher Yasmani Grandal said the Hurricanes seem to be a different team when the postseason starts.

On Friday afternoon, they showed why. No. 2-seed Miami outgunned No.3-seed Jacksonville 9-4 in the first game of the NCAA Regional at Florida's McKethan Stadium.

After a four-run seventh inning by Jacksonville (36-21), closing the Hurricanes' lead to 6-4, Miami (37-20) scored two more runs in the bottom of the seventh and added one more in the eighth.

"We seemed to click at the right time," said Grandal, who went 2 for 3 with two RBIs and one run scored. "Every time we come into the fall, the first thing (we talk about) is Omaha (where the College World Series is played)."

SlingBlade

The University of Miami received a couple of commitments this past week from two young but talented players out of the south. Freshman Ismaila Duada of Miami Choice Academy in Miami and sophomore Yvan Ngirabakunzi of Pine Woods HS in Mississippi both verbally committed to the Hurricanes last week according to multiple sources. Both centers stand at 6-10 and are natives of Africa, Dauda has Nigerian roots while Ngirabakunzi is a Rwanda descent.

Both are ranked nationally according to multiple recruiting services including ESPN who has Duada as the third best center in the nation in the class 2012 and Ngirabakunzi ranked 9th in his position. Also according to ESPN, Duada held an early offer from Mississippi State.

Now days, it’s getting very common for freshmen and sophomores to commit to a college despite the fact that they can’t sign a letter of intent until the fall of their senior year. It has become a trend. We’ll see if these two young prospects will stick to their word for the next few years.

SlingBlade

good luck to you mike...i wish i were in a position to help

Game Notes:

- Junior first baseman Jason Hagerty hit his 20th career home run in the top of the first and his 21st career home run in the bottom of the seventh. Hagerty's first homer - his 12th of the season - was the first time he hit one in the first inning.

- Hagerty also recorded his third multi-home run game of his career and hit home runs from both sides of the plate for the second time this season.

- Freshman RHP Travis Miller made his third career start Friday and improved to 3-0. He tossed a career-long four innings, allowed three hits, walked one and struck out two.

- Junior left fielder Chris Herrmann hit his ninth home run in bottom of the fifth inning. Herrmann is now tied with Harold Martinez for third on the team in homers this season.

- Senior right fielder Dave DiNatale had two doubles against the Dolphins in the second and eighth innings. He now has 14 doubles on the season.

- Miami is 3-2 under Jim Morris in NCAA Regional opening games on the road. UM defeated Jacksonville Friday, 9-4; San Francisco, 11-2, in 2006 in Lincoln, Neb. ; FIU, 9-1, in 2006 in Gainesville, Fla.

- Miami made an NCAA-record 37th consecutive postseason appearance when it faced Jacksonville Friday. Nebraska's football team had made it to 35 straight bowl games before the streak was snapped in 2007.

I met a girl from venus,
her insides were lined with gold;
she did what she did, said "how was it kid",
she was politely told;
pretty good, not bad, can't complain,
but actually all them thangs are all about the same.
