Got to agree with you. Not as creepy as the JRod kissing the mirror photo but still Eww inducing. The thought behind the photo is interesting.

Imagine the pitch ...

Okay Tim here's the idea. We want you shirtless but wearing your uniform pants. No helmet but wearing eye black. Your chest is sweaty. You have a football in hand. Your arm is cocked. Your mouth is open like you have your mouthpiece in, but you don't. Your eyes are looking into the distance as if you ready to make a throw. And you'll be doing all this in front of an empty stadium with smoke drifting across the background.

Trust me it'll be great, very hot, very sexy, very virginal.

Now that I think of it... They probably used smoke because they couldn't wrap the stadium in white tulle.

solarcane

skool
lmao!!!

looking at the picture again, it looks to me like it's holy smoke

Thinking on how Bryce's summer is going at UT

he gets a concussion

then he fumbles a bunch

thinking how Arthur's summer is going at The U

Per ESPN..

MIAMI
Current villain: Georgia Tech. If the Jackets beat Miami this year, they will have beaten the Canes five straight years. Miami owns a 4-10 all-time record against Georgia Tech, and now that Paul Johnson has arrived with his triple option offense, it seems as if this series has gotten even more difficult for the Canes.
All-time villain: Terry Porter, the Big 12 official who threw the awful pass interference flag in the Fiesta Bowl that allowed Ohio State to beat the Canes for the 2002 national title. Ohio State won 31-24 in double overtime.

Soup - when you get a chance to talk to Mandingo, ask him if and when he will start his weekly question forum.

UMike

Did anyone else see the new lb commit today from GA?

Esteban

86, gonna have Raycom air CaneSpace TV?

Old Skool

Very true Solar. I'm still working at the moment or at least got more work to do tonight.

Esteban

UMike, you talking about Cornelius?

bg1906

BB being under investigation actually isn't good for Arthur either I'd think after reading this...

At question is money raised for Brown and other players to attend football camps while Brown was a sophomore at Wichita (Kan.) East High School, Kiffin said.

The Truth

The nephew it too shy to post...he's on his last legs here for summer before I get to ship him back.

Anyway, he says the Cane's RB's need to adopt this song as their anthem...I agree:

I own my own business.

I could never go back to working for someone else.

JCane

Congrats, 86. I hope all goes completely as you'd like it to. Pretty exciting stuff.

UMike: Cornilius committed yesterday, I believe. He's originally from the south FL area, which didn't hurt his recruiting any. For now, he's a LB, although it looks like he may still have some filling out ahead of him.

Interesting for Calvin Smith, the DL from Hialeah. His main three right now are FSU, Illinois and New Mexico, the usual trio of choices.....

Anyone else here tired of hearing about Favre yet? You just said you were definitely done this time, although it was a few weeks ago, huh?

On the Marlins' end, they've taken a 5-2 lead after falling behind 2-0 in the first on a Lee homer, and all this on the day the Astros traded away Pudge back to the Rangers. 7 innings are in the books, but they'd better not pull their usual late inning relief junk as the Phils are up by 4 and likely to win, and the Rockies have already pulled their game out. The Bravos have already lost to potentially give a little room, and the Giants are tied in the 9th (for now, a game ahead of the Fish). The Wild Card race saw the Marlins behind 1 game to SF and 2 behind Col. going into today. Gotta keep the pressure on, even with Nick Johnson with a tweaked hammie.

ChicagoCane

Thanks Soup...hardest working man on the blob (no offense soiler)

JCane

Once you've been self-employed, you never go back....at least willingly/happily!

EmoryCane

Ya gotta have some sort of capital to do that plus i'm just trying to find something I can do that would let me still get to all of our fall practices

Canez1

Ya Mother Fer's!!!

Some good old locker room justice!!!! I love it!!

You fukkkk around and you get knocked the fukkkk out.

For all you queers crying about someone getting hit get the over it!!

Football isn't football without some knock down dragout's during the summer.

Ya I know it was in the locker room, blah, blah, blah.

This team needs more nastiness to it.

So someone got his jaw busted. Shyt happens! He will get over it.

If you have not played you just don't know. Sorry.

I want to see fights all over this fall practice. Brings out the best in people. These dudes are fightin for their lives. It's about time someone acted like it

It is hot as fukkkk down there and dudes are gettin cranky.

Revenge is about to be ours.

Football is right around the corner.

Life is good again...

GO CANEZ!!!!!

Canez1

O ya Pre

LMFAO!!!

GO CANEZ!!!!!

Canez1

Rescue me is on.

Go watch.

Great show!!

GO CANEZ!!!!!

shwarma

BTW great article SOUP or whoever wrote it.

JCane

For those not watching, the Marlins look to be avoiding using a reliever(and late night nailbiting) tonight hopefully by way of Nolasco really settling down after giving up a double and HR in the first and then pitching no hit ball the rest of the way. Just have to get through the 9th (famous last words) and hold the 6-2 lead. Looks like SF will win, taking a 3 run extra inning lead.

none taken Chicago, I just mop the floor and take out the trash here, you guys make it go

soup is definitely dat man!

JCane

Good old ex-Cane Jason Michaels Ks to open the Astros' 9th. Bourn follows with the goofy infield hit for a single(in case my last note didn't make it obvious, this is now the first single of the night for the 'Stros). Incidentally, the Fish hit double digits in hits again on quite the offensive streak. Tejada and Berkman go down, game over, and Nolasco hangs on for a much needed win for himself and complete game 3 hitter for the team. He gave up a single, double and HR, almost pitching for the, ahem, cycle.

Have a good night all. Sorry to waste Canes' fans time with the Marlins, but it's the time of year when it counts and there really isn't much going on during the practice time for the Canes except anticipation.

solarcane

Guys bustin each others jaws .. that ol time swag is back!

The skys the limit boys, just get Jacory home by 11:30 every night thats all I ask.
