Ted Carlson

I find the logic regarding the SEC teams highly questionable. If Bama and Fla meet undefeated in the SEC title game, I doubt the loser will fall very far from their 1 or 2 ranking.

Esteban

you lose right at the end tho you aren't going to stay #2. will drop at least a couple spots.

Esteban

hopefully we'll be right at #3 or #4 tho so we can jump into the title game.

Check out Our new recruit's tape this kid is a legit 6'6 his arms look like they go on forever. In two years this kid will be 6'7 260 and the coaches will be drooling. Mark it down he will block kicks and be our next Calais Campbell.

U, obviously have too much faith in the B.owl C.orruption S.ystem.

Guarantee, that the good ol' boy Johnny Rebel voters, as well as the rural good ol' boy farmland voters will manipulate the voting, so that a possible S.E.C. championship rematch is seen in the Rose Bowl.

U's read it here first.

Chit, their are numerous major collge football pundits, whom are already speaking and or writing of the above far-fetched scenario, for instance.

The typical Cane fandom would've thunk that the B.C.orrupt S. voting process WOULDN'T do everthing possible to have Tebow and his GAYTURDS in the national championship game.

But there's always a GULLIBLE Miami fan out there who believes the process is JUST. LMAO

What channel is the game on in central fla.?

Posted by: mi@mic@ne | October 24, 2009 at 02:19 PM

Obviously an ABC network affiliate in Central Sunshine state. The game will be seen in the entire state of Florida, so U shouldn't have trouble watching it. Capice.

mi@mic@ne

Yes MDA... I agree wit your theory on the Bs BCS.... that is a very bias system... the writers are all trying to make the west teams as you can see in the top ten now... what a big big joke... to have a lock in the title game without having to play the teams that are traditionally at the top such as the canes who have played for more titles than any other team in these last 20 yrs. And yet by their deceptive power to effect the rankings by their bias voting we are facing a new prejudice of the Canes civil rights to be represented as they deserve. We are told that we cannot be part of the top three of who we are just like we have the wrong skin color.

Voila, Carlson-san. LOL

Your scenario will probably take place IF the winner of the S.E.C. championship game is by two, three or even four points.

For example, their are just too many Johnny Rebel types, as well as smalltown, rural farmaland voters whom would love to see a good ol' boy rematch in Pasadena.

Case in point. A good ol' boy program in the guise of F.S.U. stealing a berth froy the Canes in 2000.

Case in point numerou dos. A good ol' boy farmland program in the guise of that Herbie Cornhusker program stealing a spot from the Oregon Ducks in 2001.

At least those Johnny Rebel types had their collective COMEUPPANCE when Auburn was left standing in the frezzing rain. LOL

UMike

Ted...remember you cant lose your conference and play fo the bcs title..so if Florida and Bama are 1 and 2..the loser cant play in the title game.

UMike

So IF Florida and Bama make it to the sec title game..and are #1 and #2..the loser will fall to at least #3..especially if the #2 team loses. The voters wont put a tram that didnt win their conference in the bcs title game

BEERicane

We are just under an hour from offensive domination on first down by setting up 2nd and 10. That is successful....

Still can't get over that.

BEERicane

UMike, strictly speaking, you don't HAVE to win your conference to play for the BCS title but the likelihood of you getting to play and not having won the conference is extremely small and unlikely ever to happen.

UMike, good call on OU. I forgot about that. the team that came to mind for me was UGA 2 yrs ago and how they were in the mix to play in the ship.

MaryLouAlumni

Up here in Michigan, ABC is snowing the Michigan game, but ESPN is showing Miami, and so is ESPN gameplan.
15 minutes to showtime.

It wasn't OU. Or maybe it was, but U'all FORGOT that that Herbie Cornhusker team didn't even play in the Big 12 championship game, and somehow played your Miami, F-L-A Hurricanes in the Rose Bowl.

Matter of fact, Nebraska was LITERALLY WITCH SLAPPED by Colorado, which kept them out of the conference championship game.

Again, that Herbie Cornhusker team stole a spot from the Oregon Ducks, who did win the WEAK PAC-10 conference in 2001.

Moral of the goofy rant. I wouldn't be the least surprised to see both Alabama and Flordia in the national championship again, especially IF both squads are undefeated going into their respective conference championship game.
