Just reading again, soup i'mma let those sissy azz comments by some of these sensitive azz people go, in the mean time though, yall can go kiss a cat.

As long as UM whens i can give a ratz azz what the dolphins do. We only need the dolphins to win if UM loses. Otherwise, they have been under achievers since 72.

Who's the other school that has now offered that juco tightend, must be the gators!

Calvin, I think the other school after the JUCO TE is Arizona... but I'm not 100 because I recently canceled my TOS subscription.

Calvin, first off, I'd like to apologize for the way I overreacted to your comment yesterday. I know what the other posters meant by you were just effin' around when you said it, it's just to me, I thought it was uncalled for given the context it was said in, that's all bro. But again, I apologize for my comments yesterday, and at the end of the day, in the words of KWII..."It's all about Dis' U! ONE

Enjoyed the last one and now this, good stuff!

note: Wanted to hear your breakdown without the music but couldn't find the seperate controler.

It appears you're a Brown fan too, so it's nice to see anything on him. What's your take and is he ready. Everything I hear, is negative and that can't be the true... there's got to be some good in there.
Maybe I'm wrong, but I feel Randy has been holding Brown back, to an extent, to give seniors, like Sharpton and Shields, etc maximum playing time, for a shot at the NFL... for sticking it through 06 and 07. JMO, but you know, sometimes Randy is loyal that way...
but back to Brown, whatcha got?... cause I'm thirsty as a damn 9th-day camel.

Well my face is back to almost 'normal'.....as normal as 70 will allow. The stitches were removed this morning.
I was very impressed with the defense in this game. It seemed to me DC Lovett allowed some individuality in the secomdary which resulted in better coverage of USF recievers.I hope it continues to improve into next year.

Wonderful? Nah, maybe content or satisfied, but not quite wonderful.

The bowl scenario should be interesting: Gator, Champs, Chik-fil-A, Music City???

Hey guys, just getting on here after resting up from an AWESOME weekend in Tampa! What a crazy weekend!!! It was a mini sorority reunion weekend for me, plus my regular tailgating crew. We started early - 11am - and had a bigger tailgate than at UVA or Duke! Whomever made the comment about 'Canes fans showing up more in central Florida than our own back yard was spot-on. It warmed my heart to see so many 'Canes fans!

I am so proud of this team and the way they dominated on Saturday!

. . . and the best is yet to come!

GO 'CANES!!!

drink up...
The history here at the U calls for great MLB's I can go down the list but you already know the MLB ballers we've had the past 20 years.

A lot of people 'otos' thought that I was hating on Sharpton, that was not the case. When filming the first four home games I couldn't keep my eye off A.Brown on kick off. His acceleration and strength made him look like a man amongst boys and besides these past two games, Sharpton was playing just a hair better than G. Cook. (that isn't very good)

There is no doubt A. Brown is an athletic freak but when he finally got playing time against UVA i now know why he's riding the pine.

1. he thinks too much, if you watch #44 McCarthy he's just a missal; read react and get to the ball.

Against UVA, Brown got garbage time sure, but he played timid. He looked confused missed a tackle and got a 15 yard face mask penalty. However at the UVA game he made a great play and tackle at the sideline that Sharpton and many other MLB's couldn't make.

2. Both Brown's didn't get much schooling at Kansas in high school. Coaching and I believe its fair to say they didn't go to many classes... yes, yes, I'm calling A. Brown dumb.

so thats the battle right now a grreat athlete with limited football instincts. Coaches can only do so much, but as such a highly touted recruit and all the athletic gifts he has it should be only a matter of time until Coach Barrow and Shannon get his 'between the ears' right.

I also agree that A. Brown has been held back a bit. he played what 20-30 snaps all season at the LB spot. with all the injuries we've had... How can he learn if he doesn't play? Speaking through experience some players are just better game day performers than practice guys.

My belief is that the Staff is grooming A. Brown for next year. OK fine... But if he really doesn't get it mentally a position move would be in order.

When I look at A.Brown i see a 3-4 outside rush LB. I don't like calling someone dumb, but if A. Brown really is this slow and doesn't have the instincts to play LB its time to put his hand on the ground as a DE.
Playing the DL the defender has basically only one read and less responsibilities than LB's do. A. Brown has shown, in the limited action, that he can get off blocks and with his wingspan he could excel at DE here at Miami.

hopefully the Staff and Brown puts it all together over the summer and The U brings back their MLB nostalgia.

Old Skool

That's funny about Butch being ND's number 1 choice.

As for NC fans, they have nothing to worry about. Butch is committed to their program

If they have even the slightest worry all they have to do is just ask Butch and he'll tell them, "I've never spoken to anyone from Notre Dame."

Why I bet they're sleeping soundly. And that whatever Butch tells them, they will accept automatically as the God's honest truth.

is Weis fired officially yet?

CaneRock

16 grams, do you think that it's the coaching staff that's insisting on AB to play MLB, or do you think MLB is something AB wants to give a shot? Because from what I gather, this coaching staff isn't shy about convincing a guy to try something else as evidenced by Shields,Johnson, and Mike James...

I am down for the Gator or Champs - would prefer Gator (closer) LOL.

LOL how about the Tiger Woods rumor about his wife chasing him around with golf clubs! Ya never know.....

Bowl speculation.

I think if GTech defeats Clemson in the ACC Championship game, we land in the Gator Bowl. I think the Chick-fil-a Bowl and the Gator Bowl would both pass on a 5 loss Clemson team. That would put GTech in the Orange Bowl, VTech in the Chick-fil-a Bowl vs LSU or Ole Miss. In the Gator Bowl it'd be us vs Pittsburgh or West Virginia. If some how we didn't get picked for the Gator Bowl, we'd be at the Champs Sports Bowl vs Penn State...

Not a bad draw either way. vs WVU, Pitt, or Penn State would all be classic! It would've been super classic had Notre Dame held up there end but they epic failed!

CaneRock- As far as I know Brown has been a LB since he started playing FootBall. Your right on about switching positions, Berry was a Safety 2 years ago and now he's our most productive RB.

Through the grape vine i've heard that Brown is somewhat of an outcast on the Cane team. Not sure if its the B. Brown thing or that he's not a Miami boy or he has a bad attitude but likely a little of all three.

i should have it on film, if i didn't delete it to save hard drive space. filming him before a kickoff the other 10 players were slapping five, talking, getting hype, while brown is standing alone... take that for what it is..

All I can say about Arthur Brown is take a look at the last two plays against USF...the closing speed is unbelievable and the tackling is perfect.

He's in for three plays and makes two tackles...Sharpton doesn't get to either runner.

He looks like a star in the making to me.
