Hey Roach, I was in 214, row P, seat 15. Where were you?

Old Skool

Looking at those pictures, I have one question... That's a sellout?

Old Skool

It looks like fans for that commuter school couldn't commute.

NativeCane

From a personal standpoint Canes fans in the 813 have indured much Bullshyt in the last couple years, ( trash-talking, billboards, local media etc.)that this win is so so satisfying if I still smoked Id have to light one up right now.

I guess you cant blame the Bulls fandom for acting like they havent been there before.

On the walk out of newly christened Canespace Stadium Bulls fans were demoralized and humbled and for once they knew who their Daddah was.

Go Canes!!!

NativeCane

Zilla I was right there, that was the first of many Bullfans that didnt have a good day.

The Canes should win big, no question. They are a much better team. USF has some athletes, but the U has better players.

Some of these rivalry games and conference champtionships will introduce upsets and the Canes will move up with polls with an impressive win to close out he regular season. Even for the ACC, I am not convinced that UNC, GT and Clemson will all win this weekend, and if Clemson looses in the ACC championship, the Canes will be ranked higher in the polls.

***

If the Canes can limit their turnovers (and that has been a big if this season), there is no team in the country that they cannot beat.

I think I got this one right.

moneycane

Windy good call on things this sat. U sure you didn't edit the date on your copy and paste

Why, Urban Cryer and Timmy Tebow get together, they always emotional and in tears... Posted by: Sean Spence is a Beast!!!

That's Old Urban seeing his huge paycheck and National Championship run coming to an end... Doom and gloom is coming in 2010 and he knows it!

windy1

Fox will be missed. With Fox out, I say put B. Wash. in there and give USF a heavy dose of Berry to the left and Berry to the right, then mix in some play action. USF cannot stop the Canes from running the ball down their throats.

If the Canes don't turn it over, it will be a blow out.

Posted by: Windy1 | November 26, 2009 at 04:16 PM

Hope U are correct sir! I've got:

CANES 27, USF 17

86, I got your back

Sarasota 'cane

Sellouts can look deceiving at Ray Jay. They have 2 really cool beer gardens on either ends of the field, and a lot of fans with cheap seat tickets opt to go to the beer gardens and hang out rather than sit in the nose bleeds.

I'm not suggesting that they couldn't get more fans into the park yesterday, but there were a lot of people there.

Go 'canes!

windy1

Money,
LOL. I did surprise myself on thse predictins, but I really believe in the Canes as I have all year going back to the spring games/scrimmages that I watched.

The Canes took an extraordinary step forward this season, and they have a really good chance of getting 10 wins.

If the Canes continue to improve and build depth over the spring and summer, the Canes will make a serious run at a national title next year.

moneycane

Windy1 I agree and I love the progress our CANES are making. A chance at a 10 win season, two of the losses could have gone in our favor. Shannon dug us out of a black hole and I don't think he gets the credit he deserves.

Windy1 not sure if you're male or female so I'll add to 1 just to be safe

canechic

I really, really, really liked the uniforms!

I really, really, really liked the kick a$$ and take names attitude displayed by the cane's team yesterday.

And I really, really, really like seeing the cane's team fooling around, joking and dancing on the sideline in the 4th quarter when the game was all but won!

GO CANES!

Lurker

Canechic,

check,
check,
and check

This is the complete game we've been waiting for since the four game stretch...and you know what, that's with taking our foot of the gas in fourth.

It's a beautiful day today, isn't it?

Go Canes!

SuperCooper

I love this team. Props to Shannon and the entire coaching staff. Impressive way to end the season. Gator bowl here we come, hopefully.

Can't wait for next year already.

SuperCooper

AB played a few downs and it looked like he made every tackle for the U while he was in

Posted by: Seoul Cane | November 28, 2009 at 11:28 PM

Seoul, it finally looked like he was "getting" it. He didn't look lost for the first time. With the 15 bowl practices, he is just going to get better and that should set him up for the spring.

And Buchanan was all over the field. Dude is a missile.

Texascane

Didn't care much for the white shoes.

moneycane

CC I agree on the uniforms. I just got finished watching the highlights and they look sweet. I want these to be our permanent uniforms. I'm also looking forward to seeing more B. Wash. When he blocks some one it looks like the Gulf of Mexico swallowing up a sail boat.

canechic

texas one was white and orange and one was white and green. I loved the pants the most!

canesteeler

Just returned home from the ass kicking in Tampa! I am proud of how the coaches had the team prepared. Big three my ass!

canechic

Brandon played great! They all played with fire yesterday....this team next year is going to have so much trust and chemistry....they can really be "a lights out" team if they want to be.

moneycane

Cooper finished the regular season with a beastly amount of yards. The mark of the beast. The []_[] is on its way back to domination of college football

Calvin

Calvin, There is nothing wrong with being Haitian Bro. I do not see what his comment has to do with him being Haitian. The guy is just stupid, but not because he is haitian
Posted by: CaniaK aka True Canes | November 29, 2009 at 08:36 AM

My comment had nothing to do with something being wrong being a haitian, for those who grew up round the way, know exactly what i'm talking about.

What i luv about this team though is, we got a lot of hitters back on defense now, when you start running down the names of the guys on defense, lol, spence, c-mac, ray ray, telemaque, brandon harris will whack u, than throw in maybe arthur brown next year, buchanon played his best game of the year, he wasn't letting nobody get out side yesterday.

damien berry has made cooper run tougher. A prime example of the upgrade in talent, on that 1 play where javariss james fell down, he did a great job to get their, but a better runningback goes straight up that hole on the right side and end for the touchdown on that play and not have to use another play to get us in the endzone.

If the whole coaching staff comes back next year and we get better special teams play, and stay healthy, like soup and his wife at a game "WE GOT THIS"

Hurriphin

Hurriphin'.....

When I attend my first UM game, I'm rollin' with Zilla'. He sounds like he grew up around my way!

Hurriphin

Yeah Super, Ray-Buch was banging yesterday. Still think Nike got lazy on us, compared to FSU's. Oh well. It would've been nice to have some sorta' hurricane wind gust up the sides or something, with a little black splashed in there somewhere.
And I don't know what you guys are talking about. I thought Mizzou was stylin'!! Black on Black hats are dope.

USAFCane

One of the best stories this season IMO is Sharpton. He's been the brunt of many negative comments but during his whole career he played hard and recently blossomed. I'm very happy for him and hope to see him on Sundays.

Another comment, James and Cooper are solid but berry looks like a stud, an NFL runner the best the u has had in quite a while.

Calvin

It's a good thing when we play these in state schools, just gives our team another chance to audition in front of future recruits.

The real competition has just begun at green tree, i'm still rying to figure out why manny thinks this brandon linder guy can just waltz in and start starting on this o-line from day 1,lol. Next year, the o-line competition is going to be off the chain, and the d-line competiion with alot of the guys coming back along with the redshirts.

What made me the proudest yesterday was that we were the most physcial team out their on that field.

solarcane

Light colors make things look bigger we looked good. The white pants were the shyt, some of the best ever.

The Cinco De Mayo numbers not so much... except Brandon Harris who looked like he was wearing an exclamation point > 1=! very cool.

peace

Hurriphin

Also, Cal speaks the truth.

If Epps doesn't run to that deep pass, it's an interception for sure. I thought it was meant for Benji', and on the replays, it looks like #3 did as well.
But shoot, I don't care if a f-in' kangaroo caught the damn ball, as long as it was wearing orange n' green!!

Roger that CC! A good time was had by all.

40% Canes fans at the Ray Ja. It filled up between the second and third quarters. Late arriving criwd just like in Miami.

USF fans left with 10 minutes left.

Miami fans stayed until the end. Tee hee...

``They were talking about being part of the Big 3,'' an irritated UM linebacker Darryl Sharpton said. ``We were just ready to put that noise away. We looked each other in the eyes and said, `We're not leaving Tampa with a loss.' ''

It was mentioned earlier but I agree that Sharpton stepped up his game late in the season. Pick 6, big hits, stuffing the run, forcing fumbles. #50 > Glenn Cook

Hurriphin

When Brandon made plays, I wanted to yell:

Rashad

Missed the game because of work, but what a great win. So happy to hear how the boys came out and matched USF intensity and shut them and thier crowd up. If i woulda been there I probably woulda got kicked out for sneaking onto the ship and firing the canons after a Canes score..lol..Go Canes!!! Gator Bowl here we come!!!

canezilla

usf....child please!!!

Calvin

soup, put the bottle down and slowly back away lol! Our guys came and played with the mentality that they are suppose to play with, and if a team has got to score a touchdown the way usf scored yesterday on our defense from here on out, it's going to be a long day for opposing offenses. That defense yesterday had to make shannon proud, will also be interested in hearing shannon address the team after the game yesterday.

I'm pretty sure he told the guys they played close to Hurricane football yesterday, but it's real clear now though. when you play us, you better bring your "A" game because these guys are not taking any prisoners from here on out. The toughness of the team is back and it showed real good yesterday, guys refused to let usf be more physical, joe joseph did a good job.

I'm sure we'll have some more guys in the nfl, sharpton can make it, fox will be their in some capacity, joe joseph maybe able to hang around ona practice squad, randy phillps and sam shields, we'll see, hell, one thing is for sure, the seniors on this team have got to be inspired irregardless of the Great history at UM, these seniors on this team have to got to be inspired to play in the nfl not because of guys like andre johnson or ed reed, or portis or santana, wilfork, ray lewis, etc. etc. The guy that's inspiring this senior class to make it to the nfl is none other than bruce johnson, cause i know sam shields can do it, and sharpton has a real legit shot.

86Cane

Potential LOSERS this week:

#1 UF to FSU

#2 Alabama to Auburn

#7 GT to UGA

#9 Pitt to WVU

#12 OSU to OU

#18 Clemson to USC

Even if half of these teams lose it will shake things up quite nicely.

First, Miami has to take care of their business against USF and then let the chips fall where they may.

GO CANES, BEAT USF!!!

From Thursday...4 out of 6, I'm jus sayin'.

Solar you reached way back for that one. I remember having one of those things. They were fun for all of about 5 minutes

Calvin

Also, make no mistake about it, and "thee excuse"(M.I.A.) has been pointing this out for the longest, but it's no mystery that the better our middle linebacker has played, the better our defense has looked and played.

When "thee excuse" kept talking about how cook and davis were the worst set of linebackers to ever play after that g-tech game, in comes sharpton, he steps up his game, the d-tackles have stepped up their game, our defense at the point is starting to do it's thang thang.

moneycane

From Jim Leavitt to Beaver via Miami Herald

``This is never fun coming up here after a whooping like that,'' Leavitt said to reporters. ``Part of it is we have to keep recruiting -- you all saw that. They beat us on both sides. They're just a better football team and they showed it. My worst nightmare came true.''

That was music to my ears

solarcane

Jacory lets that little limp and sore finger heal; and Whipple trusts his running game like he did yesterday, we will beat anyone we face in a bowl game.

What a differece when this team comes out high and dominates, rather than come out flat and play their way into the game.

Clemson and Georgia Tech really let the ACC down yesterday, we won't face a few recruits that would have gone to Tech or Clemson now.

peace

Hurriphin

Zilla' you seem like the guy who throws "Traditional First Chair" at the party, as soon as the guys from the other neighborhood walk in the place, and start grillin'.
For some reason, yesterday's game seemed like it had an Orange Bowl finale feel to it, for USF that is.

USF= U'll-Suck-Forever.
