Plans to install artificial turf in the Citrus Bowl were already in place, but after the grass turned into an embarrassing mess of mud during the nationally-televised Citrus Bowl, the plans have now become a bigger priority.

Coaches and players from Penn State and LSU complained the field was the worst they played on.

City officials told Channel 9 the conditions experienced this weekend pushed up the time-table on installing artificial turf. Officials plan to have it in place before next year's bowl games.

New rumors out now are about possible transfers due to kids facebook status'. LOL.

Maybe true, maybe not, but not surprised. Happens all the time. The suspects

Kendal Thompkins
Davon Johnson
Lee Chambers
Arthur Brown is also listed but his dad disputed it (http://www.miamiherald.com/1262/story/1407004-p2.html)

Aquaman

Pat White playing QB for the fins. I'd be embarassed if I was a dolphin fan right now. I know middle-school kids with better arms...

Jer

He hasn't completed a pass I believe.

bg1906, lee chambers has a better chance of getting on the field this year now more than ever with coop's unfortunate situation. kendal thompkins needs to be here out of that group, i would luv to see davon johnson stay as well myself. arthur brown if he rolls out, especially in a year where he's suppose to take over the middle, that would be kind of funny at the same time though, i wouldn't be surprised if anybody left.

I did say way back when though that kendall thompkins going to nebraska was not a bad move for him although i wanted him here, the facts remained that it was gong to be hard for him to see the field, at the same time though, kendal is one of the best receivers on the team hands down.

WOuld have been a better look for him playing time wise at the same time though him coming to UM has help make us better, the fact that hankerson is coming back though is what is making players reconsider whether to transfer or not though.

And quit running this stupid wild cat crap, who's idea was it to draft pat white in the 1st place, that was a wasted draft pick, especially when we needed a receiver.

Calvin

what happen if AB transfers and become all world killin machine just sayin
Posted by: SinisterCane | January 03, 2010 at 03:11 PM

If that happens, shame on us, so far only shawnbrey mcneal has looked the best of the transfers. ALthough that was for other reasons. Is it coaching or him that's the question cause right now, i'm not seeing why he hasn't been able to at least see some meaningful playing time whether it's 1 or 2 snaps. We dominated the usf game why did he get in so late, same thing with the Famu game, and the at least a few other games, but hey, things haven't been running the smoothest, but next year will be a real pivotal year for alot of players.

SinisterCane

I know I go overboard with AB stuff but only because Shapton was not a good player, and still tryin to figure out how in the hell he was defensive MVP...maybe Most Violated Player

AB would have been great on nthose blitzing downs vs the wiz

Thigpen is now in and at least he can throw the ball and is actually moving the ball. If Chad Hene wasnt coming back into the game, then why didnt Sparano go to Thigpen from the get go? We all know that Pat White is not NFL QB material. Thigpen gives you a better chance of winning than Pat White!

Calvin

bahamaCane, when pat white is in the game, everybody knows we're running it so the db's are coming in full speed, and on 3rd and 8 we run the ball, that basically said we're going ot hand you the game and blame the loss on chad henne's injury, be for real, i don't give a rats nickel if he's a 3rd string qb, he's in the nfl, put him in the game and throw the ball down field. Can we get competent coaching in Miami!

RBLCane

U guys watching this Dolphins game?!?!?!

They were down by 17 in the beginning of the 4th about 3 minutes ago. Now? Down by 3!

GO FINS & GO CANES!

Calvin, you said what i was trying to tap dance around because i like Sparano, but sometimes he has a brain fart and makes a bad decisions.

Thighpen has started in the NFL Pat White hasnt. To me and you its a no brainer to insert Thigpen over Pat White after the second or third possession in the 3rd qt, but in my mind i was thinking that the coaching staff may know something we dont!

RBLCane

OMG!!!

Houston is beating NE. if they win, the outcome of this game is mute!

RBLCane

That INT killed us.

Oh well.

*Sigh*

GO CANES!

Calvin

bahamaCane, the dolphins can now say the same thing the Canes do, this team does not quit, they got a lot of fight in em, etc. etc.

That's not to knock the rebuilding project in coral gables though, i know wassup over their at the same time though both programs have coaching problems, the Canes more so with the position coaches. The coordinators so far they been decent, we'll see what happens next year if they're hear.

SinisterCane

Man I used to be a big time phins fan biut to too many heart breaks just wore me down lol phins are just the Lions of the south

You still want the win though regardless of the playoff outcome.

Dolphins desperately need some help at WR. Maybe they'll pick up Golden Tate during the draft.

GO CANES!

86 thanks for the great year of canespace

TonyCane

The Dolphins are not going to draft a wide receiver this year, at least not higher than the fifth round. The Parcells formula calls for minimum investment in this position, and we already went against type and drafted WRs in the third and fourth round last year. Miami is much more likely to draft a defensive player or an offensive lineman in 2010. You'll never see a 1st rounder used on a wide receiver under Parcells.

Canez1

I lost my love for the phins as well after Ricky left.

We were unwatchable for so long...
