Who does Josh Shirley remind everyone of??? To me...Marcus Robinson

Old Skool

Marcus Robinson???
Shirley you jest

bg1906

Old Skool.

He has that kind of burst of the edge in his HS vids. He'll need to get bigger to play DE on this level, but he has TOOLS!

Old Skool

Thank you for not using another Stones song as the theme for the article. The last think I'd want to read regarding today's commitment are the lyrics from "Brown Sugar"

Six.

Good looking kid. FB all the way, but I like that he has ball skills too. That will make him a Quad Hill type but a little bigger. I like him. Good pick up.

bg1906 - I just like the fact he ran over Hillsborough and Terrence Mitchell, for 5 TDs

That, and the fact he likes to dance at the beginning of games

IDK, Quad Hill is a pretty big guy!

On the other hand, I've always been a big fan of having a FB that can run and catch. It's almost a lost art now, but when you have a big, athletic, productive FB, that can be a dangerous weapon.

Peyton Hillis, anyone? Denver Bronco, by the way of University of Arkansas, by way of Conway High. (AR) I saw him play several times. Damn near unstoppable.

He did a little of everything at Arkansas.

My point, hopefully Hagens can deliver and pose a threat offensively. Pat Hill is a great asset in the run game, but isn't a threat to catch the ball.

Can you feel it coming...I think Randy might be closing strong!!!!

Canez1,

There's an article about Kevin Nelson in the strom room over at Cokesnort. What's M Shodell saying about him?

shwarma

bg, you think Shirley ends up on the d-line no matter what?

Canez1

Hard to say. USC said they want him at will. He's already 225. I'd like to get him up to 250 and let him terrorize the edge. His best attributes are playing with his hand down. So I'd think he'd be better off at DE because he's already used to it and wouldn't have to adjust to playing in space.

canechic

Go Canes great win watched the last half/we flipped between basketball and hockey. Pens win good for the Sharks. But all those superstars (Crosby, Malkin, Ovechkin....etc) in Hockey....the leading scorer is my son's favorite.....Patrick Marleau...

Ya Ibis I am looking forward to the LB battle.

I think Ab balls outand joins Spence and Cmac out there.

With Futch and Green coming off of ACL's I don't think they see much action this year.

Should be a great battle there.

GO CANEZ!!!!!

Hey Six.

I was watching the replay of the UCF game and laughed when Byrd took you out on the sideline. HAHAHA!

Any 3 of those and that would have to be considered the coup de gras

bg1906

Think about this.

We had 53 freshman and sophomores last year and are bringing up to 30+ this year. Talking about a roster over haul.

Direct from the "And U thought cheerleading was easy" file. Check this out from the FSWho web site (don't ask!):

First and second round cuts take place on Saturday followed by an interview with the judges' panel. On Sunday final cuts are made and the new team is announced. Backhandspring back tuck
At least a roundoff backhandspring backtuck

Stunting for Co-ed:

Hands arabesque
Combination stunt with at least two skills-must full down

If I were an oddsmaker the over/under would be 1.5.

As a bettor? Hmmm, I would take the over but still can't tell you which two. I think with Whitaker's decision being tomorrow, you can cross him off no matter what he says. Its those other four I don't know about (if USC didn't have the in-home with Shirley, I would think the chances are better. Did Shirley come with the Fam?)

2010: Hurricanes win the ACC Championship.

2011: Hurricanes win their next National Championship.

2012: The World ends in December with the Hurricanes undefeated and waiting for their second consecutive BCS title game.

I'm good with that...

Notice how when he hits something...its goes backwards! I like that he gets good penetration consistently. That's how you disrupt an offense from the DT position.

Captain,

Why would Seantrel be in Michigan (MI)? He is from Minnesota (MN).

Could you also tell me what the postal abbreviations for BOSSES and HAWGS are?
just bustin your balls.

Beer, nah, it's called nitpicking. haha I'd have to think for a minute about Minn's abbreviation and I didn't feel like it. I assumed anyone reading would know. ;-)

And I have no idea what you're talking about w/ Bosses and Hawgs. Let me in on the joke.
