I looked on the ESPN update and it said it was suspended by darkness at 59-59 in the 5th set after being suspended Tuesday at the end of the 4th set because of darkness

Ohio State vs Miami...They are looking at all the tapes of Jacory...Getting prepared...

Today on Rival Radio...

I will admit (even if it is considered blasphemy) that I can't stand "Rock You Like A Hurricane" ... how that song is supposed to pump anyone up, I have no idea

Cliche sports anthems are the most predictable, least inspiring part of any visit to a stadium.

Rock and Roll Part 1
Rock you like a Hurricane
In The Air Tonight
We Will Rock You
should have been retired, buried or fired a decade ago.

The Stanford band is on another planet as far as putting down entertaining sports oriented music.

The more clips you watch the more stale you realize the rest of college football "music entertainment" is.

The BYU satire still kills me.

ungar LMAO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

That band gives me a headache!

That tree is friggin gay too.

They do have style tho I will give them that.

Alot of the IVY schools up here have the same type of style.

Solar I'm with you on the stale azz music they play for us.

Sleepy? quick turn on your TV
the longest match in Wimbledon history is still going on 9 hours 25 minutes and counting

N. Mahut FRA 4 6 7 6 (54)
J. Isner USA 6 3 6 7 (54)

Longest match ever
Most aces by a single player ever
Most combined aces by both players ever
Most games ever played in a set
Most games ever played in a match...

Having watched that, I just had a nitemare flashback of that next morning after the first day of 2 adays @ Gables when my dad had to get me out of bed at 5am with a crowbar. Aaaaarrrrrrrrrrrrggggggggggghhhhhh .

Isner better sleep in a hyperbaric chamber tonight. Dude will be walking like Frankenstein tomorrow.

Hope they let these two fighters finish on Centre Court under the roof after all play is over tomorrow. They deserve it. The show they put on will NEVER come close to being matched ever.

That was tennis with boxing gloves.

Tennis replay on ESPN 2 now @ 47-47 5th. Set.

Any bets on which one drops first ?

Father's advice to his lovesick son that's making it way around the web

Love is like a water park. At first you're enthusiastic about riding the fast dangerous ones, but after getting tired of waiting in line behind bunch of a__holes, everyone just ends up with the fatties in the lazy river.

canz1, I think the tree gets a little weirder each year too.

Look for

"I Fought The Law and The Law Won"

on tap for USC

That is a GANGSTA college marching band.

Per Manny's Twitter:

Marlins President David Samson says Bobby Valentine, interim manager Edwin Rodriguez on short list of skipper candidates

Amazing aurora seen from space

I thought it was a story about really big nipples, don't even wast your time.

Old Skool, I would like to make some additions:

If you go on the ride too early, they throw you in jail.

If you are first in line, the rest of the guys in line will be jealous of you.

In some cases, paying a bit of extra money will get you a FastPass into the ride.

Wait a few moments after the last guy has gotten on before jumping in. If you go right behind him, you will end up disappointed.

If you are tired of one ride, they are always building another one that is even better.

If you hear 80s music coming out of the ride, run, it isn't a new ride, but an old one with a dye job.

Some rides have more than one entrance, but you will know which one is the better ride by which one is being guarded closest by the dad-I mean lifeguard.

Oh, and it is safer to ride with a "vest". 8-)

Seantrel Henderson: Could USC's Sanctions Be Miami's Surprise Recruiting Gain?

"This striking aurora image was taken during a geomagnetic storm that was most likely caused by a coronal mass ejection from the sun on May 24, 2010. The space station was located over the Southern Indian Ocean."

"mass ejection" threw me for a loop as well, especially, how the resulting aurora is shaped... 8-)

Do we want to put LA on a football scholly or use it for Henderson? Hmmmm...

nice link 360Cane.

It also led me to this one:

James and Wade together against Kobe? I might buy a ticket... 8-)

Hmmmmm. I guess it is too late to uninvite a couple of those "project" players. Maybe our grading standards get selectively tougher for a couple of borderline guys, sending them to JUCO.

But Henderson better NEVER make the team wait while he gets a haircut....

LA on the `Ship and Henderson left out in the cold to go elsewhere

The Wizard

BG, me thinks Tavadis Glenn "didn't qualify" for this year so we could make room for Seantrel Henderson. What say you ?

Unless you are married, then you just say "Yes Dear" when she says no to all of the above.

Then you build up a playlist with "Cherry Pie", "Cherry Bomb", "Walk This Way", "Whole Lotta Rosie", "Rock You Like A Hurricane" (you are a Canes fan after all), "Boys Are Back", "Shattered", "Me So Horny", "Pour Some Sugar On Me", "Dead Or Alive", "Welcome To The Jungle", "Mony Mony", "I Wanna Rock", "Girls Girls Girls", "You Gotta Fight For Your Right To Party", "Enter Sandman", etc. to play on your headphones to remind yourself when you had testosterone and control over your own life.

You can borrow my copy, I checked with my wife and she says it's okay with her. 8-)

Wiz...Glenn had test score issues from the beginning. I think this is valid.

bg...Glenn is Stoudland's BIGGEST fan, not Hurtt.

Doesn't everyone?

Marlins are down 4-0 early to the O`s

Dial up Ozzie while you still have a chance

FSU 2, TCU 0

Top of the third.

Old Skool

Ungar LOL

And if you need a tube it ain't as fun.

Also it doesn't matter if you make one big splash or several little ones, either way you get wet.

The Frogs will wipe the `Noles away tonight

"Lawyers Guns and Money"

That's what I am bringing to the Wet Your Pants rafting trip on the Chatooga.

Be ready!

Marlins tied it up at 4-4.

Emailed Manny. He MIGHT show up here...

Marlins tie it at 4 going into the bottom of the 3rd

The Rays finally get their 1st hit of the game in the bottom of the 4th

Old Skool

More tennis trivia

Their 5th set alone is longer than the longest professional match ever played.

The two are well on their way to breaking the record for the longest match ever by four hours.

The thing I find really impressive: one of the players is 6'9". That's a lot of bulk to running around for that long.

Noles 4, Frogs 2

Champs Again: "The U" Highest Rated Documentary In ESPN History

Ivan Blanco
Correspondent Written on June 14, 2010

If ESPN had their way, they'd resurrect the 1980's Hurricanes and stick'em on prime time year-round. Variety is reporting today that ESPN's latest "30 for 30" series installment, The U, drew in a record-setting 2.3 million viewers Saturday night, shattering the previous record of 1.8 million held by The Greatest Game, a documentary on the 1958 NFL Championship game.

Miami has a long history of drawing big TV numbers, especially in the regular season, where they have played in half of ESPN's top rated NCAA games and 4 of the top 7 most watched games. With the immediate success of the documentary, it'll be interesting to see how ESPN capitalizes on the Hurricanes' popularity --and infamy-- next season

Send the previous post to the best recruits and to Henderson not his father...

FSU 7, TCU 3

Wow what a come back by TCU Grand Slam

TCU 9 FSU 7 in the 8th

Another Homer by TCU

The Frogs are jumping over the Noles...

In the 8th TCU 11 FSU 7

We have yet to hear from five-star OT Seantrel Henderson, who delayed signing with USC until he was sure (or so he thought) that NCAA sanctions would not be severe. Now Charley Walters of the St. Paul Pioneer Press reports that Henderson skipped an orientation session last week, which caused coach Lane Kiffin, recruiting coordinator Ed Orgeron, OL coach James Cregg and dad Monte Kiffin to fly (via private jet) to St. Paul on Monday to find out what is going on in the head of their prized recruit.

There has been some talk (mainly in Ohio State and Miami circles) that Henderson is considering leaving USC and that the Buckeyes and Hurricanes, two of his other finalists, are back in the mix. Neither Seantrel nor his father, Sean, returned calls from Walters, and during the recruiting process Sean was generally very happy to talk about his son.

No word on how the meeting went. But Henderson's defection would be a huge blow for Kiffin & Co., who were expecting Henderson to be a part of the OT rotation right away, if not work is way into a starting spot by the middle of the season.

Sounds to me like this is a blessing in disguise, He wont come back to USC they lied to him. So its between us a OSU and we win that battle all day! Miami give him the scholarship and latwan is still on with the track scholarship . With T.Glenn not qualifying i hope he can come in next year though.

Solar, I don't know about the Stanford band, they've got nothing on The Rattlers of FAMU

Philly, LOL alright alright I will stop,

Wow what a come back by TCU Grand Slam

TCU 9 FSU 7 in the 8th

Posted by: Montreal-Cane | June 23, 2010 at 10:16 PM

Don't hate me, but I actually feel bad for the Noles. If that was Miami I would have broken things. SEVERAL things!

CGNC...good to see U blogging on the regular here on the Space. We missed U some during Hockey season. LOL

FSU goes down hard.

After leading the whole game and by 5 runs going into the eighth inning the give up 8 runs and then lose:

TCU 11, FSU 7

Noles go home crying, bitter and sad.

TCU is a great story. Making the most of their CWS appearence.

Mike Martin 14 CWS appearences = 0 championships.

Florida annd FSU eliminated...Jim Morris will sleep well tonight...Now Jim get on with some great recruiting and see you next year in Omaha!

Knowing what kind of Coach Randy Shannon is will he want to go after Seantrel knowing that he choose USC and know is running out of their because of the sanctions...
