" it's not a coincidence NOC's life preservers look exactly like flak jackets"

Water, bullets, rocks...

It ain't no thang!

Ricky Henderson one of the best baseball players in history would have made a great football player, running back or wr

He was an All American high school running back.

Yanks are already up 2-0 at the end of the 1st and the Rays are down 2-1 at the end of 8

Now way its going to finish like this, it just cant happen

Bo Jackson WAS that athlete we all are talking about wanting to see

He was more then solid in baseball and in football well that needs no explanation

All-Star and All-Pro at both sports

He lived what most only can dream of

bg - It's possible the 2nd linebacker you're talking about is a linebacker from this past class that didn't qualify academically so they're holding a spot for him in this next class.

Once again I would like to thank Mr. Maddon for failing in the clutch again

solar, one thing I did notice with this article was the lack of off-the-field comments. I think it is the first one in a while that didn't mention what work they did for others, etc.

Not saying he is a Steve Garvey, just something that caught my eye....

Top seed and #1 team in the country, Arizona State, sent home today by South Cackalacka

And then there were six ...

Only 3 of the 8 National Seeds made it to Omaha (#1 ASU, #3 UiF, #6 UCLA) ... only 1 of those National Seeds are left (#6 UCLA)

That's true.
I'm not sure why. I don't remember reading anything about that part of his life.
great you take time to go over each selection.

Oh how the mighty have fallen?

The Gators should never have been there.

We lost those games, they did NOT win.

I guess I should consider myself old now - I can remember the dad of the Oklahoma Sooner 3Basemen playing for the Rangers when I was a kid .. Steve Buechele

So, what do I do? Is this the time where I go buy a sports car and blare hair band rock from the speakers, like "Cherry Pie" by Warrant? Go buy some Drakkar Noir or Jovan Musk and bathe in it? Talk about how if coach would've put me in during a certain game in high school, that we would've won the state championship?

It was a longtime coming, but the release of the next generation of the iPhone is finally imminent. With cameras trained on one of Apple's headquarters in Cupertino, California, the iPhone 4S was unveiled after nearly a year of anticipation by fans and professionals alike. With a similar look and feel to the iPhone 4, the magic of this phone is found on the inside with new features and specs that have resulted in record breaking pre-sales. Here is a quick glimpse at why nearly 1 million people have already ordered this phone and what is in store for them.

The while the iPhone 4S was thought to be called the iPhone 5, there is still one very important '5' inside of this device, the A5 processor. Pulled out of its sister technology, the iPad 2, the A5 is a dual-core processor will push speeds that are nearly twice as fast as the iPhone 4. Deemed a SoC, or sytem-on-a-chip, the A5 dramatically speeds up the iPhone 4S for nearly all of its uses. Carrying out multiple tasks, such as surfing the internet while streaming music, no longer lags the iPhone down to a choppy standstill.
