Good list... by the way Pistol Pete Maravich set all of those collegiate scoring records BEFORE the 3 point line was instituted!!!!!

University of Miami junior Bianca Eichkorn has been named the Atlantic Coast Conference Women's Tennis Scholar-Athlete of the Year and heads up the sport's 2010 All-ACC Academic Team, as announced on Wednesday, July 7, by Commissioner John D. Swofford.

Joining Eichkorn for the Hurricanes on this year's All-ACC Academic team is senior Laura Vallverdu - making her fourth consecutive appearance, along with sophomores Anna Bartenstein and Gabriela Mejia.

Eichkorn, an International Finance and Marketing major from Tengen, Germany, was a third-team 2010 Academic All-America selection by ESPN The Magazine/CoSIDA and is a three-time member of the All-ACC Academic Tennis Team. Eichkorn has been named to the ACC Academic Honor Roll twice and is eligible to be included again this year. Her honors at Miami include being a two-time selection to the Provost's Honor Roll, a six-time membership participant on the Dean's List and six-time inclusion on the Athletic Director's Honor Roll.

On the courts, Eichkorn earned ITA All-America and All-ACC honors in 2010 while posting a 31-5 overall record and a 23-0 dual match record. Eichkorn finished 11-0 vs. fellow ACC opposition and ranks seventh all-time at Miami in career wins. After turning in the most successful sophomore season in school history during the 2008-09 campaign with 40 singles wins; she bounced back in 2009-10 to claim consecutive ITA All-America honors after advancing to the quarterfinals of the NCAA Singles Tournament in Athens, Ga.

Eichkorn holds the third-longest singles winning streak in school history - registering 27 consecutive from Jan. 17 through her NCAA Singles Quarterfinals match on May 29. She finished the 2010 season ranked No. 22 in the final Campbell/ITA singles poll, as well as No. 43 (along with partner Bartenstein) in the doubles poll.

Roach...U get my emails?

Unless he is a silent.. SOUP.

They will have 4 spots sewn up, you got something different on info? Cause my source says W.Lyons is not considered even close to a LOCK for the canes.

By the way BG1906.. We were all feeling pretty confident about Chickillo. Did you see the new canesport article where he talks about how he and Patchan are GOOD BUDDIES, there daddies talk all the time. They talk every couple of weeks..

It confirms what my source told me that Chickillo's dad has openly stated concerns about Shannon's coaching abilities.

That doesn't mean anything. I also saw you had Chickillo as 75% to UM. HAHAHA!

Listen bro, dude is NOT Matt and I can guarantee you Matt probably wishes now he'd chosen UM. He'd be STARTING now and probably would've last year too over Pipho. He also wouldn't have been shot. His time at UF has been memorable for ALL the WRONG reasons.

At any rate, Chickillo also said his top 2 are Miami and UF. You said we were out, so if we're out how are we in the top 2??? We get Chickillo. I have no doubt. I'd be SHOCKED if he didn't pick us.

Also as far as Lyons, I don't think in the end he'll be a Cane either. BUT recruiting changes day to day and minute to minute. If he wanted in, I'm sure they'd find a way to get him in, but I think he likes us more than you are giving him credit for. Why do you think the staff would give Gorman the flexibility to go through the recruiting process FULLY and not Lyons? I think they are both coveted but I think Gorman is higher because he can and is being recruited as a CB while is STRICTLY a Safety.

As far as DBs I think the guys we can safely say we get are:

Gorman is a strong lean, Therezie is also possible but he's not a guarantee either, and Lyons is also possible. These 3 the staff will have to recruit and if they get 1 of the 3 or even better 2 of the 3 they'll feel very good about their class of DBs.

Timing of commitments will determine what happens here, just as it did with WRs. When Dorsett committed things sped up in a hurry! But I can tell you with certainty Waisome and Roberson will NOT be Canes.

Amen. To me great players don't have to win championships. Great teams win championships.

My indication that the King is coming to the Heat...

Who has an hour special to say they're staying? LeBron is saying good-bye tonight.

Hey Soup just so you know Sancocho is a traditional Hispanic soup, being Colombian myself I cAn tell you it's one helluva soup....
