USC Women at a game .... Even if they are on probation, they still have these to look at to ease their pain

This kid said he's waiting on an offer from the Canes

#1 ranked DB in the country according to Rivals

He said he's been a Cane fan since he was little and rooted for the Canes to beat Ohio State in 2002 ..... and he's from Akron, Ohio

CaneSawMassacre

I'm not sure the Hurricanes are that interested in Doran Grant. . .

He def. looks like a nice player and he could be in play but I think they feel pretty confident with who they have had on their board..

Can't hurt to make some additional contact with this kid though.

Hi Folks,
Good evening! Take a look at what the Suckeyes are saying about UM.

sota cane

CaribCane

Hi Folks,
Look at this OSU blog. Look what they are saying about the 'Canes!

http://mbd.scout.com/mb.aspx?s=145&f=3154&t=6092288&p=1

CaribCane

Sorry for the double post.

solarcane

carib, they have quite a surprise coming.

ZarOkoN

after reading that. its ok. I will let Miami do the talking. I am sure every player, coach and fan know that this is THE statement game. Every year Miami has gotten better and is looking more like the Miami of old.

If we keep Pryor in check its game over. And with Petri and the re-vamped non injured D-Line its game over. He will be running all right..for his life!

CanesFanStuckInCali

CSM - I didn't see Wayne Lyons, the safety out of Dillard, on your list. You don't think we'll land him?

Thanks!

BTW Legion, I'm FINALLY reading Cane Mutiny. Almost done with it in two days! Can't put it down!

GO CANES!!!

solarcane

skool

ocala

Let me know when you guys are planning to arrive

If you get here Thursday night late or Friday early we can shoot over to Helen and a couple other spots.

I'll email you the best route to my front door this week

We're also gonna need the OL to hang in there and let Jacory and Co. do their magic. If this happens, even if Pryor has a decent game, Miami will still pull the win.

<2 MONTHS TILL OPENING DAY!!!!!

GO CANES!!!

solarcane

FSU is retiring Derrick Brooks #10 at the Clemson game this year.

CaneSawMassacre

I think we will have our DB situation pretty much sewn up before W.Lyons gets over himself and decides to pick a team...

I have no inside info on this but I wasn't very impressed with his discussions about UM... or he could be playing the game well and just not showing UM SOO much love so schools don't think he is a lock... BUT I think we'll have 4 DB's committed before he makes his HAT PICK ON NSD.....

Lurker

Lyons is going to the SEC

CaneSawMassacre

As much of a nice player he is, I don't think UM IS SERIOUSLY CONSIDERING HIM... 1. Either they like other prospects or 2.. They know he was already a lean elsewhere (apparently the SEC)

Montreal-Cane

The story was updated at 7:47 pm with other possible transfers...From the LA Times...

BTW New Manny on the SH situation:

GO CANES!!!!!!

Captain Optimist aka Cavaleer

I had him on one of my preliminary lists but the made us proud part got him removed.

Apparently letting your "Friends" get bitten in the face for a half hour is OK with Jones.
Sorry that shyt makes me want to puke.

Anybody that fights dogs, chickens, or any other type of animal, needs professional help.
If you can't determine that is absolutly wrong, you need someone to help you with your morals and values.

>>>>

Solar, I gotcha and I agree, although I don't think it's surprising that a boxer participates in other ring-fighting sports, even with animals.

But yeah, that throws you out of the all-around admiration list.

Captain Optimist aka Cavaleer

I like the fact that SH and LA might be in uniform and able to contribute against OSU. Beat their azzes in recruiting then stomp a mudhole in their azz on Saturday.

WGT22

Crawford BOMB !!!

Doc Ibis

What does that mean WGT22?

Doc Ibis

Manny reports:

I was told the likelihood of freshman cornerback Jeremy Davis getting into school in August was "about 40 percent." Davis (5-11, 162) is one of four DBs in UM's 2010 class.

Check out this post on the OSU blog site:

In 2010 tOSU football team will have to play with 11 guys on the field, not 12.

I'm pretty sure Terry Porter won't be calling the shots in this game.biggrin

Henderson to the U..............

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I was told today that this is done. The only question is his final grade in one class, and he might need summer school, but should be in Miami in August................

Congrats from me. I believe you guys just landed the top OLine prospect in the country from 2010. Pair him with Linder and those are 2 sweet linemen. I've seen both in person, and they are sure things in my opinion.

Sean Spence is a Beast!!!

Well, now that SH is officially released, would Bosh and Wade and possibly even Lebron signing with the heat have any effect on Seantrel's decision, i mean come on, that's one happening party in south beach, can his dad possibly resist that????lol, I mean even friggin' Snoop Dogg couldn't help but ride the U's bandwagon, even USC's ex-alum like Keyshawn ultimately predicted Seantrel will end up in Miami. Our city's def hot lately.

Sean Spence is a Beast!!!

T.Bridgewater - QB (Committed)
S. Watkins - WR (I'd say 75% chance)
P. Dorsett - WR (Committed)
Eli Rodgers - WR (Committed - has been advised he has a verbal depending on what WR's UM pulls in this class. BUT I think it is becoming more and more apparent that the coaches are likely his route running ability, and ability to make plays and get OPEN on big downs in the zones...)
Wynn/Benjamin/D.Davis/D. Arnett/ (They will leave open one slot for a STUD WR if they really want to.. It will be either Rodgers slot or they will take 4 WR's and no RB)
S.Huggins RB (30%-35)
Nick O'Leary TE (50% chance)
Possible other TE
Mark Jackson OL (Committed)
S. Tuitt DT (35% chance)
A. Dubose DE (50% chance or better)
A. Chickillo DE (75% chance)
N. Menocal LB/DE (Committed)
D. Perryman LB (95% chance- I think silent)
T. Steward LB (30% chance or lower)
Jabari Gorman DB (75% chance)
Albert Jean-Lous DB (Committed)
Dallas Crawford DB (95% chance)

4) Steven Rivera (The barber Jacory and other players), announced on his twitter account it was happening...

I think it's about as done a deal as possible.

Once you hear it from the barber it IS a done deal! LOL

Sean Spence is a Beast!!!

The kid is obviously a talented football player and will help us win. IF Randy wants him then great. I hope we don't cut any kid though who has already sweated and bled for The U just so Seantrel can get here now. JMO

Did you think I was a "secret" Memphis fan coming here to scout future Memphis Tigers?
Are you 4-Real?

Didn't Manny reported we should have an extra scholly for SH when he does decide to come our way.

No, he won't be, but he'll definitely be a special guest with king James chair ready for him atleast for that night!

I think next to Lebron, Terry Porter is the 2nd most famous and most valuable individual in the state of Ohio.

FROM THE BLEACHER REPORT:

USC reserve defensive end Malik Jackson has confirmed that he intends to transfer to Tennessee, becoming the second Trojan upperclassman to leave the program in the wake of NCAA sanctions imposed on the football team last month.

Due to the severity of the sanctions, which ban USC from competing in postseason play for the next two seasons, NCAA-instituted bylaws allow juniors and seniors to transfer to another Division I-A school outside of the Pac-10 without having to sit out a season.

Jordan Campbell, a junior linebacker, was the first player to transfer when he opted to leave USC for Louisville last month.

Jackson was a regular contributor for the Trojans, appearing in all 13 games in 2009 and recording 3.5 sacks.

According to Jackson, the sanctions did not play a role in his decision to leave. Rather, it was that Tennessee had contacted him last month, saying that they could really use his help.

That was enough for Jackson to jump ship, saying, "I just felt like I needed to be someplace else."

So is this the end of transfers for the Trojans, or are we seeing just the tip of the iceberg?

Wait, wait, there's something wrong with that. Are other schools allowed to call current players on their respective team???? hmmmn . .

Sarasota 'cane

Oh yeah!!!! What a difference a kid like this can make!

P.S. Can't wait for his Dad's first track to "drop"...NOT!

It's very gloomy on the Cavs neck'o da woods, i mean Lebron is selling Cleveland as hard as D-Wade is selling the Heat and his hometown Chicago to players like Amare and Chris Bosh, both these players seems to be just laughing it off as Cleveland is in no way a possible destination. That ultimately will be a very strong factor for Lebron leaving his hometown team for others eventhough his heart is truly in Cleveland. The fact of the matter is, if Lebron really wants to win a championship, he will be choosing between Chicago, New York, and Miami.

360Cane

Tennessee actually sent a letter to USC listing all their juniors and seniors so they could gain permission to talk to any of them. No harm, no foul.

And no, I don't think it's over. It's like free agency BUT there isn't a deadline. Kids can leave USC at any time without restrictions.

SSIB when the santions on so cal 1st came out and it was reported that other skools could contant players that were eligable to transfer...the 1st skool I heard was doing it was bama...then on radio up in this area it was reported bout alot of tension btween the current ut staff and the ones that bailed...if u remember ole eddie o was tellin early enrolls at ut not to go to class so they could follow them to so cal...so current ut staffers began to poach on the formers so cal players...and to futher the point if Henderson wuld have started classes at sc he woulda had to sit a year reguardless of release from scholly or not...was that sayin poetic justice/what goes around cums around?? Lol

360Cane

How about the Rockies scoring 9 runs in the bottom of the 9th to win the game 12-9. They were down 9-3 for those of us that struggle with Math. lol
