go canes

wow!!!ohio is whack!!!!!!!

Zilla sneaks in and slams the door.

I was in Dayton this weekend cause my friend plays for the reds minor league team there and I was about to throw up looking at all of the people wearing ohio st crap.

Yup, we're gonna CRUSH 'em!

Oh, and we are back. All the way back.

Have to be better on 3rd down. We cannot win against good teams if we can't get off the field on defense. 11 more games to win and then we are back.

Damien Berry: "When we win (against OSU). I don't want to say if because it's not an if."

Posted by: Coach | September 03, 2010 at 02:06 AM

This is a very talented team. Its going to be a battle in Columbus. I still think the Canes have enough to win comfortably (margin of 10-14 points), and they they will have to do so an keep it out of the hands of the refs.

Let me go on record to validate my 12% status before the season starts. I have two concern, the D-Line must pressure the QB, and kick-off must go beyond the 20 yard line...we get those two goals accomplished...BCS here we come!

Posted by: MDCane | August 31, 2010 at 10:25 PM

But you sound like you live in Big Ten country so I guess you'll have to see those overrated fools (OSU) get stomped a few times before you get it, and not just by Us.

You'll be jumping out of your chair this year and you'll be watching Shannon teach these fools what Hurricane Football really looks like and what real HCing looks like.

"Statues of famous alumni grace the OSU campus. The most famous is the statue of Maurice Clarett which was carved out of bar of soap."

You were probably gonna puke because you were in Dayton.

Posted by: solarcane | September 08, 2010 at 07:16 PM

That's exactly what Clarett prolly said first time he bent over to pick up the soap in the shower in da big house.

That city was a ghost town not a single restaurant open only the bars and the baseball field. So i was probably just puking from the booze. But still that place sucks

1857 - Dr. Charles Pierce of Wapakoneta discovers the hangnail.

Thank god for Ohio.

Funny darn article

Love it!

We play just like this every snap we will be OK

That is jus Tragic...LmaO

Glad to See the 12% reached 29% but I for one am always going to refer to it as

and Lastly, Way 2 Go Good Reads...Great Feeds and Info U Guys are the Pride of Orange and Green Eyes

42-17 CANES .... Watch...not even a contest..

Great link to the Ray Lewis vid before... I scrolled down and saw some other vids... Jacory... and then Randy. Randy said something that I read so many times before... talking about Chase Ford and the drop he had, " this is football, there will be dropped balls, its how you handle it that matters."

something like that... instantly I thought of Vince Lombardi whose greatest, driving thought was... the greatest thing about this game is after you have been knocked down... to rise above it... how do you handle adversity?

Now, did I just not listen to Randy earlier?
Or did we both read the same books in the last few years.

Old Skool, Gettin' his glacial groove on Ha.

solar I'm sure you've seen this

My sister is a Va Tech grad and she says the first time Va Tech EVER beat Miami was in '95, I could've sworn it was earlier.

Can anyone help me with the answer?

Thanks in advance.

Canes line opened at 10, was down to 9.5 and now they're a 9-pt underdog at Ohio State.

The Hurricanes hold a 17-9 edge over Virginia Tech in a series that began in 1953. Miami actually won the first 12 games, with Virginia Tech notching its first win over the Hurricanes in 1995. That began a string of five consecutive victories by the Hokies.

Hi guys. Anyone need two tickets to Ohio State? I have a pair in the Canes section at $170/each. email me if you want more info:

Like you I'm a big big Rohan fan. The football player and the man.

We will be outnumbered 20 to 1 in the stands, but it will not make a difference on the field.

Go Canes!

Forgot the blogger who hit the nail on the head as to what the final score of the FAM game was gonna be, but I'm waitin on him or her to ACCURATELY give us a final on this game...my prediction...

Nomad...represent! U have been vaulted.

forward the video to the 3:45 mark. these are the type of people that cheer for ohio state.

ok, here it goes:

Finally, all the parts have come together to gel. All the ups and downs of last year (and past few years) are for a greater purpose. This team, these young men, are ready.
Relax, THEY got this. Excited to see it in person.
Don't agree? Well, we shall know in 3 days...

Canes: 36 OSU: 24

^^^ 36 points your asking???

4 x TD's
2 x FG's
1 x Safety (TP scores 2 points for us!!!)

Miami must score over 30 points to have a chance.

Miami has to win special teams and the turn over battle to win.

Shannon has to outcoach Tressle for Miami to win.

Do these things and Miami can win the game.

1 x Safety (TP scores 2 points for us!!!)

gotchu DZ...

and @ ftmcanefan...LMFBAO !!!!

OY: What do you think of the pass interference call at the end of the game?

Antrell Rolle (AR): It was definitely a BS call. It was obvious to everyone watching the game but that is why you have to take it out of the hands of the refs.

OY: How much do these current Canes know what you guys went through?

AR: They might be aware but they will never understand or feel what we went through. So they can go in and play with a chip on their shoulder representing the older Canes that went through it, but this is for them to go out there and play for their season, not to worry about revenge or anything else, go out there and establish who they are.

Old Skool - this article was freakin straight genius ... real good stuff brah

Old Skool

Thanks Guys.

Holy Moly we have talked about every possible slant there is for the Game of the Century.

I knew we were at the end of reason
When we were calling OSU fans wuss for hoping it would rain, but we Cane fans aren't wussies for praying we don't have to play in the rain, because that's different.

What I loved about The U is U do it... or U don't.

No excuses, just do it.

but this is for them to go out there and play for their season, not to worry about revenge or anything else, go out there and establish who they are.
