Today UM Head Coach Al Golden held his weekly press conference with the media.
During the 15 minute Q&A event Golden addressed several topics ranging from how some fans are now imitating his now famous sideline attire to the most recently updated injury report for this week's game Thursday night at Sun Life Stadium against Virginia (ESPN @ 8 PM).
He also mentioned "The Process" eight times or about once every two minutes which according to our statistics is clearly well below his previous average and certainly below his personal best.
Here is Golden live, unplugged and unfiltered today from Coral Gables:

So you're supposed to dress up like a guy who's a whole game over .500 at UM (great for a coach pre-Schnelly, the worst since him though) and three games under .500 for his coaching career on a Thursday night game? Wow UM, great way to not completely jump the gun there, no wonder you've got some saying sign his lifetime contract now in all seriousness.

OGV...wait I thought U loved Al Golden after the GT game? Oh that's right it is D'Onofrio that U feel in love with, my bad! LOL
Just because U don't own a tie that is no reason to feel embarrassed.
BTW...Tomorrow @ 1 PM.

SOUP, I own a tie, just not an orange and/or green one. Now they better win this game for sure or else they'll have disrespected the greatest football team in college history, their coach and the legacy all in one fell swoop.

Jeff Popovich begins his fourth season as the FIU secondary coach after serving two years as a defensive graduate assistant at the University of Miami (Fla.).
Popovich's secondary was one of the most improved areas on the field in 2008 for FIU. The Golden Panthers team pass defense set a new school record with 15 interceptions while recording a defensive pass efficiency that ranked in the top half of all FBS schools.
But FIU's quick turnaround is not surprising. While working with the defensive backfield as a graduate assistant at UM, the Hurricanes ranked first nationally in defensive pass efficiency in 2005 and were ranked 25th in 2006. Miami's secondary included 2005 NFL draftees cornerback Kelly Jennings (Seattle Seahawks, first round), cornerback Devin Hester (Chicago Bears, second round), cornerback Marcus Maxey (Kansas City Chiefs, fifth round), as well as All-America safety Brandon Meriweather (New England Patriots, first round) and 2005 Freshman All-America safety Kenny Phillips.
A native of Tucson, Ariz., Popovich was a walk-on at the University of Miami who turned into a major contributor on special teams and in nickel packages on defense. After starting his college career as a wide receiver, Popovich was converted into a defensive back and was a star on special teams cover units and as a holder, lettering all four years at Miami.
Popovich saw action in all 46 games, starting 11 times. For his career, he made 154 tackles, one interception, forced one fumble and recovered three others. He was a three-time Big East All-Academic team member and a candidate for national Academic All-America honors.
After leaving UM, Popovich played for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers during the 2000 preseason and for the Atlanta Falcons in 2001. In spring 2001, he was a member of the Barcelona Dragons team in the NFL Europe League that played in the World Bowl.

Funny, I knew there was a good reason that I brought the entire box of Canespace shirts with me this time for the first time all season.
Email me at: [email protected] so we can exchange phone #s and hook up at the Hampton Inn, the tailgate at E23 or inside the stadium.

These flash forward hurricanes replays on youtube rock. Love the 2nd view of Streeter. Guy has amazing top end speed, only the angle kept his 48 yarder from being six.

Interesting - According to Rivals, when Ojomo committed to UM in 2007, he was a 6'3", 217 lbs, DE.
He is now listed as a redshirt junior at 6'4", 270 lbs, and playing DT.
Swasey's strength and conditioning program seemed to have had an impact.
