CEO

Personally, I think the ACC will stay just as is and maybe tries to add Notre Dame.

And I am cool with that.

Hassan

Hassan

LB CJ Holton & TE Sanders have left the team, this is confirmed by UM Sources Our Roster now sits at 72 with 13 waiting to get in, bringing us to 85, look for more purging the roster to happen as fall camp nears.

The What

Hassan - any reason why they left? An Amy idea how many more will be leaving. I thought the purging was done. If it makes the team better I'm all for it.

Go canes

At least he's not lying. Lol

Didn't Holton come in as a RB?

Q

Holton came in as a safety. Went to wakulla high with fsu linebacker novel bradham. Never could crack the rotation he moved to linebacker..then lastly fullback. Sanders was a bum.

herbieibis

Sanders was one of Dandy's plums. I think they went all the way to Idaho, to get this slouch!

The Dude

I really like the ACC and am happy that we seem to be staying. FSU and Clemson seem to be staying too. Its a good conference.

CaneRock

I thought CJ was having a good Spring till He got hurt. Well, regardless, I wish CJ well in whatever He decides to pursue. I met His Mom at a HS game once, really nice lady, She had on U everything, don't think She was very fond of Jacory though LOL...

Hassan

Holton was playing TE/FB last. He bounced around as much as anyone could between S and LB and TE and FB.

Basically guys are asked to leave the team, those guys been here 4 years so they will grad so we did not screw them or anything, it is not like they had a big role coming or they would make a pro roster.

Montreal-Cane

Florida State just lost to Clemson 9-7

FSU is 0-2 in the ACC tournament and is eliminated.

CEO

Monty...that is such sad news for the #1 seed. Maybe next year? LOL

I can't find the UM game on TV tonight for some reason. the Marlins and Rays are on and the SEC tourney but no ACC?

CEO

UM 1, WF 1 top of the fourth, Canes at bat.

CEO

UM 2, WF 2 bottom of the fifth, Wake at bat.

CEO

UM 6, WF 2 going to the bottom of the 8th.

Six

The one damn time Kyle Farnsworth isn't healthy for the Rays is the time that they have a get into a little pushing scuffle with the Red Sox

Dammit.

I've been praying to see the Rays get into a benches clearing get together with another team (Boston or New York) so I can see Farnsworth run out and destroy someone

CEO

Six...I was watching the game when the benches cleared. It was interesting to say the least. Clearly the Boston pitcher was throwing at the Rays batter. Yet the Umps left him in the game.

Can U say: When will the Rays get PAYBACK?

Montreal-Cane

CEO get well soon... i don't like the ACC tournament format...

Jersey going to the Stanley cup final but LA will win it just a much better team.

Montreal-Cane

Salcines likes to make it interesting.

Montreal-Cane

Canes WIN!!!

Ewing MVP!

CEO

CANES WIN 6-3 OVER WAKE FOREST!

CEO

MONTY...don't U just love it? Something to cheer about for once!

Montreal-Cane

Yes sir! Let's cheer this one.

UNC is elimianated and i really don't see the Tar Heels doing the Canes a favor tomorrow after losing to the U yesterday and being swept by the same Miami team earlier this season. I just don't expect the best from UNC saturday.

Did i say i don't like the ACC tournament format?

Spacers,

Today i learned about a fried of mine who passed away after committing suicide. I remember reading ohios post and other posts on a couple of blogs ago. The pain is deep to lose a friend you grew up with since youth soccer under 8's, not to long ago we spoke and he looked his usual positive self. With time we all grow apart from friends but i ask that everyone just remind their friends an family how much you love them because you never know what tomorrow brings.... RIP Chacho we love you man.

Henrique, Henrique, Henrique! '94 was so two decades ago anyway.

Monty, the West is so much better than the East and the Pacific division is light years better than the Atlantic division this year . . . that's why the Cup's being brought in from, where, again? Devils in five, unless Quick steals an extra two games, then in seven.

Sorry to hear about your friend UpNorth.

pre83

Up North - My heartfelt condolences to you and to your friend's family and friends. There is absolutely no two ways about it - it is tough. Real tough.

And to all the many 'Spacers who have given a shout out of support to me the past couple of weeks after the passing of my father, I wholeheartedly appreciate it. I really do.

it is quite something seeing the many emotions of life noted here on 86's wonderful site - from the joy of a newborn to the sadness of a loved one's passing and many things in between. These reminders truly do help to keep things in perspective.

God bless Up North - And believe me, your plea has rung loud and clear here. You simply can't do that enough!

pre83

I have to say that it really surprises me, albeit very pleasantly, that hockey is discussed on here. I have to believe that the vast majority of people who view/post are from FL and to me that doesn't beget hockey fans: )

I have lived in Minnesota all of my life and, well, you may have heard that hockey is big here.

OGV - Do you believe that anyone had Kings vs. Devils in the finals say in the middle of Feb? I for one am looking forward to the match up. The two teams are really a contrast in styles and it should be fun watching this play out.

The Kings' run has been one for the ages, but you really do have to wonder if a team can push back a bit if they can handle it.

I'll be honest, I love their style of play, but am not overly eager to see them hoist the Cup. I've always had a difficult time cheering for a team that plays in a city where snow may have been seen twice in a hundred years...and for like ten minutes.

Full disclosure - I did route for the Kings in '93, but it had more to do with the fact that I worked for a company who had Gretzky endorse its product.

If the Devils can find a way to neutralize the "swarm" affect the Kings bring, I think they can handle them.

And I agree with you, the West is overrated.

upnorth, sorry about your loss...i have a friend that just lost his son to suicide two weeks ago...i still havent wrapped my mind around why he would of done it and not talk to his family about his issues...and i cant imagine the pain his father is feeling right now...he was only 15...my son is 11 and i dont know what i would do

CEO

UpNorth...my heartfelt condolences to you and your family. It is always diffucult to lose someone close to you under any circumstances and maybe even moreso when it is due to suicide. May God grant you peace and confort during these difficult times.

Ohio_Cane

UpNorth, I'm very sorry to hear about the loss of your friend. I know too well how that feels, and believe me, it sucks but will get easier with time, grieving, and remembrance.

Ps - off topic, I just realized the abbreviation for your handle is UNC... Is that a Cane foul or something?? Lol JK bro!

Upnorth blessing and prayers going out and up.

UpNorth - sorry for your loss, I know it must be hard

OGV! You must be thrilled! I told you Henry can be scored upon - the Rangers couldn't handle the Pens all season as we won the reg season matchup 4-2 against them. I have no stake in the Finals but would prefer to see the Cup stay in the East. The Kings are for real though and are playing like a solid team. If the Kings win I can LOL at the Flyers for their trade and if the Devils win I will be happy for Brodeur whose career I have always admired - especially at four-oh!

BTW have you heard the new Linkin park "Burn it Down" - it is so DOPE

CGNC

Pre - I never knew about hockey until Miami got the Florida Panthers and then I learned about it and loved it. Fell in love with the Pens though around 1995-1996 and have been a fan of theirs ever since

Ohio_Cane

So if I'm not mistaken, Canes need UNC to beat NC State tonight?

SlingBlade

yup...if UNC wins, we play in the championship game...

CEO

Pre83...My dad was from Maine and he played hockey growing up. He was a Boston Bruins fan for some reason and I grew up in Miami but watching the Stanley Cup playoffs back in the glory days of the Bruins with Esposito, Orr and many others. When the Panthers came to Florida I went to many, many games when I lived in Coconut Creek and they played in Sunrise. I make it to a few Lightining games each year now in Tampa, especially when the Panthers come to town to play the Bolts.

I watch the playoffs and the Cup games with moderate interest unless one of the two FL teams are in the mix. I'll never forget the Year of the Rat!

CEO

And just think if Miami doesn't blow the ninth inning lead against NCST the other night UM would already be in the final championship game. ARRRGGGHH!

CEO

DA SKREETZ IZ ON FIRE!

1. This boi gotz some bustin on my Trel yappin. Yo, I want to see Trel be a success and if I didnt I wouldnt of bothered gettin at him. Yah, I know all about the injuries and they really have held him back on the physical tip. This boi questions why the f he wasnt soaked in the playbook to not only better himself but also other ballahs. Boiz goin into year 2 with Al and he is way behind any other OL on the roster on assignments.

2. As far as boiz leavin Miami, if peoples remember it was said as soon as the season ended 10-12 could be goin ghostmode. Oh yah, thats right this boi forgot I only know sh$# cause I read it from media azzwipes lol. Yah, must of been some other places sayin the 411 1st lol.

3. Miami fans shouldnt dig on that boi CJ. He tried to play through alot of injuries and alwayz did what wad asked of him. Never made a b!tch fit when moved to different positions even durin Onions years. Hes battlin some personal issues that has taken his focus off football and put more focus on life. Kinda sad how hes goin out, this boi would of loved to see him go out on sr day.

LB

Fraudulent TP

How come Skreetz didn't report this? He is the ultimate insider, right? This is pretty basic stuff.

The reason is because Skreetz doesn't exist. He's TP. The troll that throws personal insults at other bloggers

From OS:

Citing multiple anonymous sources, InsideTheU.com reported Wednesday night that NCAA investigators had returned to campus this week to speak further with UM associates and were expected to remain in Coral Gables for a few days.

Come on fantasyland Skreetz. Where are you? Ha ha ha ha ha
