ogv...i attempted to write you a nice post,to put our issue to rest.but it was eaten.....

TonyCane

Ugh, that got me going for a second too.

Some other "breaking news" that I imagine might come from "DRAPER":

1) Al Golden discovers he has unused year of eligibility, will sign with Alabama

2) Duke Johnson to challenge NFL draft requirements, will leave immediately.

3) Connor Barth cloning chambers unearthed in North Carolina during NCAA investigation.

4) Donna Shalala to be named WR coach

5) Terry Porter throws another yellow flag, this time 10 years late, declaring that Ohio State engaged in excessive celebration after stopping Miami on fourth down. Ken Dorsey and the rest of 2002 Miami Hurricanes to reassemble next week to resume 2OT of national championship game.

Mcginns ale house

I guess I am being censored for my earlier complaints abouts ogv posts......what is the word i am looking for "irony"???

LMAO!!!

86Cane

Back from Disney, what did I miss.

86Cane

Went to Animal Kingdom at Disney for the first time. Perfect day weather wise and had a great time with Mrs. 86. But U will NEVER guess what I got Donald Duck to do!

Tonycane

Lol...did you get a picture?

Wonder what team is hotter, UM women's golf or UM women's tennis?

The University of Miami women’s golf team opens its 2013 spring slate Monday at the inaugural Florida Challenge, a one-day, 36-hole shooting featuring five of Florida’s top programs.

Miami’s lone January event will be played at the par-72, 6,050-yard Quarry Course at Black Diamond Ranch in Lecanto, located about 80 miles northwest of Orlando.

The Canes, having recently finished a slew of individual offseason competitions, will be looking to earn state bragging rights as they compete against four in-state rivals – Florida, Florida State, UCF and host USF.

This is 86Cane U are talking to, what do U think? OH YEAH!

The ninth-ranked University of Miami women’s tennis team secured its spot in the ITA National Team Indoors, with its 4-3 victory over No. 35 Arizona State Saturday afternoon at the Neil Schiff Tennis Center.

The Hurricanes’ newest member, Clementina Riobueno, battled back from a 4-1 third-set deficit to seal her team’s victory over a feisty Sun Devil squad. In the process, Riobueno and the Canes moved to 4-0 on the season and will head to Charlottesville, Va., Feb. 8-11 to participate in the ITA National Indoor Tournament.

“This was a big step for our program,” said UM head coach Paige Yaroshuk-Tews. “We’ll take this momentum moving forward.”

Tonycane

Did you and Mrs 86 go on the Dinosaur ride? My kids and I went on it 7 times on our trip.

The Dude

I can guess what Donald Duck did. Go Canes, beat FSU!

86Cane

Tony...YUP, sure did, just once but it was lots of fun. Living in Central Florida we have been to Disney more than most but never to Animal Kingdom. Now we can cross it off our bucket list.

If U are a FL resident and like the whole Disney thing and are a AAA member they have a 3-day pass for $119 and a 4 day pass for $129 that is good now through June 30. Now that's a DEAL!

Only blackout dates are two weeks around Spring Break which U don't wanna be there then anyways (too crowded and long lines). January, February and March are the best times to go: smaller crowds, no lines and great weather.

Ohio_Cane

Stop believing trolls. Sandland is enrolled and EJ is still on the team.

Posting from my poker game so will be sparingly

Malik Price-Martin is a great get for the basketball team. Checking some of his videos he seems to have a lot of versatility to his game which should fit into what "The Pimp" is doing. If anyone has any videos of him I would love some links. South Florida puts out some solid players every year in Basketball just take a look at some of the rosters for top 25 teams and with the way Larranga coaches we should have a strong core for a few years, Just need to ensure we get some difference makers to get deep into the Tourney.

The Dude

Action is faster than reaction.

Church in the morning heavy with prayer for The U. Join me, won't U? Just look what it did last week!

86Cane

Please do NOT feed the trolls.

When a strange blog name shows up outta da blue and makes negative comments just ignore. Thank U!

86Cane

I blocked the IP Addy of DR****. He has been on under lots of names as a troll.

Now, off to church and to pray for those poor lost souls who would rather spend time trolling another teams blog than doing something productive with their time and positive with their lives.

"In the midst of a cold case where the canes defense has been dead for 2 years. Last seen with prime suspect Mark D'Onofrio."

Now THAT is funny. The comedy stylings of CoCane.

Good morning CGNC (Queen of the Legion)...

CoCane

Larranaga needs to use his connections up north to get a visit from 4* PG Rysheed Jordan, 5* PF Jermaine Lawrence & 5* SF Andrew Wiggins. This seasons success could help nab 1 or 2 of them...

CGNC

Hi ya Co! How are the little cokesters?

CoCane

Great! They're not so little any more. Coke Jr turned 15 3 days ago & Cokette turns 14 in less than 2 weeks. How's your daughter?

UMike

IDK if anyone knows..or even cares lol..but Derrick Green commited to Michigan.

Ohio_Cane

So you're telling me I'll be rooting for him once a year for the next 3-4 years around November 24th? LOL

Resume' building for 'Canes: LaSalle, which lost to Miami by 17 on Jan. 2, has beaten two Top 25 in consecutive games.

So unless Golden expands the amount of players he is taking, and outside of maybe Collins..everyone we are targeting is announcing on NSD?

UMike

Bostwick is visiting Floria this weekend...wrapping up today

As a wiry, tow-headed 10-year-old, Kevin Olsen would occasionally toss a football back and forth with his big brother, Greg — now a prominent NFL tight end with the Carolina Panthers — during visits at University of Miami’s Greentree Practice Field.

When he was 12, Kevin, who by then had shot up to 5-3 as a quarterback for the Wayne, N.J., Police Athletic League, was with Greg in Miami Beach when he was selected late in the first round of the NFL Draft by the Chicago Bears in spring 2007.

“I’m really proud of him,” young Kevin said of Greg just days before that draft. “He never gives up, and every day he went out and tried his hardest. He can run. He can catch. He can do it all. Watching him get drafted is going to be really cool.”

I hope so.

UMike,

Resume? Lol! Wins over Michigan St, UNC Charlotte, UMass, UCF, @UNC, Maryland, blew out LaSalle & Duke. #3 RPI & #1 ranked strength of schedule. The resume is already built. They're playing for seed now.
