Sean Spence is a Beast!!!

Regarding Lockette as RB coach, well, it'd get us in good with Dalvin Cook, so... Yeah! Lol

That's good and all but i'd rather have Sony Michel, here's hoping he is the no.1 RB target for us in 2014.

How the HELL! did Louisiana get George Williams. NOT! Louisiana State...NOT! Louisian Tech...NOT! Louisiana-Monore...just plain ole'...L-O-U-I-S-I-A-N-A!

Sean Spence is a Beast!!!

Toss up between Kevin Olsen and Standish Dobard as the Duke Johnsons of this class.

Never wavered. Recruited for us. Talks up canes 24/7.

The funny part is, they ain't even from south florida. Heck, they're not even from the state of florida!

Agreed, but we are after both. I think we'll be trying for 2-3 RB's with next year's class.

LB

"UM's Blake James named new AD."

Oh yeah!

As for the beast of the class...

Dobard.

Sony is like Duke, He's a Cane to the BONE!
Seems like He's been in HS forever though LOL.

Ohio_Cane

Sony is not like Duke in regards to being ALL CANE, or he'd be committed already. LOL

LB

Duke Johnson is a recruiting machine. If the NCAA gets resolved shortly, then there's no reason why Sony won't be in orange and green.

To those with intelligence:

What does the depth chart look like on defense, specifically the front seven?

Yeah, maybe more like Lamar Miller. Miller "committed" months before NSD, while Duke DECLARED 2 years out.

Was watching sportscenter at lunch and they asked Seth Greenberg, who was the best team in college basketball right now? His answer was the CANES!!!!!!

LB,
Take a look at pictures of the levees, from Katrina, that's what are front 7 look like, oh yeah but we have our savior Porter up front, how could I forget.

Acually the DT depth (3 deep) is pretty solid.....the question is can the young guys perform this year! The biggest concern has to be linebackers.....who knows whats going on with E. Johnson. I have a feeling they are going to put Bond at middle linebacker. We could of used a couple more recruits at LB!

FOR SCHWEATY BALLS' EYES ONLY:

University of Miami junior AJ Salcines was among the 75 relievers named to the initial watch list for the ninth annual Stopper of the Year Award, the National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association announced Friday.

Salcines, who was named a Preseason All-American by the NCBWA in December, anchored the Hurricanes' bullpen in his sophomore campaign. The southpaw ranked first among all Canes pitchers with an ERA of 1.40, having allowed only six earned runs in 38.2 innings of work.

The Miami, Fla., native tied for first in the Atlantic Coast Conference with 39 appearances on the hill in 2012, while his seven saves tied for seventh-most among all ACC relievers. The lefthander held hitters to a paltry .193 batting average on the season, boasted a 44:11 strikeout-to-walk ratio and maintained a flawless 3-0 record.

To close out his impressive sophomore season, Salcines was one of three Hurricanes named to the 2012 All-ACC Academic Team.

I think Gaines will stay at MLB, He started to come on towards the end of the season. But I like Bond though, Him and Figueroa look NASTY! on YT.

I'm sure he'll be suspended for 1 game, then be reinstated for us!!!

I like Soldy as our RB coach. E. James, Gore, Portis, and Mcgahee need to put a good word in for him.....lol!!!

Jamal Carter calling out native miamians. Why not put your city back on the map?

Anyone in the know: Do our coaches have a good relationship with the coaches/staff/faculty at American Heritage?

Cuz if Sony is lost because of a bad relationship, I'm going to go flip some tires.

I dunno' the relationship of our coaching staff to that school. However, i've mentioned before that i work with his cousin who coach at optimist.

From my understanding, according to his cousin he really wants to be a cane. He is not a lock though by any means.

Ohio_Cane

SSIB, Well, he has an offer. He can commit any time he wants.

Honestly, every kid that wants to be a Cane will commit and/or put us at the top of their "list" as soon as this NCAA crap comes out and is over with.

CaneRock

Sony's a LOCK!
Him,Duke,Deon,Tracy, and Coley were pretty much in the same camp circuits.
I don't think that's a coincidence.
