The Atlantic Coast Conference released an equitable 12-year schedule for the rotating crossover conference opponents for its schools in football which begins this fall.
The rotating crossover opponent is the ACC team that changes every year on each ACC team’s football schedules. With the addition of Pitt and Syracuse to the ACC this fall, each ACC team will play all six divisional opponents annually, one primary crossover team from the opposite division which does not change, and one rotating team from the opposite division that changes.
The league previously announced a future home and away schedule for divisional opponents and for each school’s primary crossover team as well as each school’s rotating crossover for 2013. The announcement completes the conference schedule for ACC teams from 2014 through the 2024 season.
The criteria used to develop the schedule includes the following:
1. Each ACC school will play eight conference games annually, four at home and four on the road.
2. Each ACC school will play three home divisional games and three on the road.
3. Each ACC school will play one home cross divisional game and one road cross divisional game. When schools will play their permanent crossover opponent at home, they will play their rotating crossover opponent on the road and vice versa.
4. Within each division, all teams will play all of their primary crossover games at home or away in a given year with all of the rotating crossover opponents all played at home or away.
5. Each ACC school will play all of their rotating crossover opponents twice during the 12-year rotation, once at home and once on the road, but not consecutively.
Miami’s rotating crossover schedule is as follows:
2014 at Louisville
2015 vs. Clemson
2016 at NC State
2017 vs. Syracuse
2018 at Boston College
2019 vs. Louisville
2020 at Wake Forest
2021 vs. NC State
2022 at Clemson
2023 vs. Boston College
2024 at Syracuse

Just FYI for Canespace folks. Michael Bradley co-founder of Varsity Preps and founder of Deep South Recruiting has been named a writer and football analyst for Rivals.com and will be publishing his work on Florida Varsity. com a well known recruiting site in the Sunshine state.
Michael got his start on CaneSpace about 4/5 years ago. Michael's first assignment was covering Kevin Nelson and other players at Gainesville High School.
Michael will be covering recruiting in South Florida with an emphasis on Dade, Broward and Palm Beach counties.
A shout out to all CaneSpacers and a word of appreciation to those who helped him along the way!

The Herb just saw where our new DT recruit is only 6'1. That has to be a misprint. I've heard where he was 6'2 and another site he was 6'3. I will reserve judgement until confirmed but if true, I'd have to say not again or on a positive side, I would say Great, we now have 5 noseguards. I guess the 3/4 is coming around the corner.

O_C, he was wronger about Nelson at that time than you about recruiting gets this year.
OK, you both were about evenly off on the two respective topics.
I have never heard of well known recruiting site Florida Varsity. com before today but I would not identify myself as a recruitnik either, so there's that to take into account. I'm going to go ask somebody's opinion about what they think of it and if they've heard of it before.

Florida Varsity.com is a Rivals.com recruiting site.
OC, lol, wronger? And plenty of people, actually thousands of subscribers in Florida have heard of it.
Just passing on some news that Michael got his start on CaneSpace and has been able to develop his skills, both in analysis and writing and has progressed from there.
Not a big deal I guess to all the football experts on this or any other blog, lol! Jfyi that's all!

I haven't been excited to watch the Spurs play for a title since '99 in the 5 game win against the Knicks until today.
The best illustration about how intriguing this series is comes from the fact that the one on one battle that will decide the winner the most, Duncan and Bosh, has such a intriguing classic hook to it, where Bosh gets to try and beat his basketball childhood idol, yet is still only like the third most, at best, angle of the overall series.
Spolestra is a borderline HOF coach already but I think he should put James on the low block and Bosh on the high post and run the offense from inside out through the MVP. Birdman has had a Midas touch offensively through three rounds and if he keeps it up for another three or four games will earn himself a huge payday for it, which means he'll be fully inked by next season tip-off wherever he touches down next.

Tito doin work...
2015 Safety Calvin Brewton is one of the top safeties for the class of 2015 and is on a star filled team with the Miami (Fla.) Central Rockets.
“It’s very competitive here. They ranked us as the number two team in the nation this week and the competition at every position here is crazy. We always compete with each other, Dalvin (Cook) and Joe (Yearby) are always competing and the same goes with the offense against the defense.”
Brewton is excited to be a part of such a talented team at Central and spoke about one part of the team that isn’t heralded too often.
“A lot of people don’t know this, but are entire O-line is returning. We got Raul (Diaz), you have Michael Smith, Reginald Bain and Trevor Darling; all of them are D-1 players.”
Brewton also enjoys the fact that he no longer has to go up against the two Star backs on game day and feels that they make him better during practice.
“I think they get me better everyday because they know that I can be one of the best safeties next year in the nation. They want me to be the leader for next year when they leave. It’s crazy to see both of them in the backfield, especially when Joe (Yearby) gets at quarterback.”
When it comes to recruiting, the 6’1 185 pound safety has quite the list of schools who are in contact with him.
“The recruiting process has been going good for me, I talk to UCLA, I talked to the Rutgers coach, Louisville, UM, Florida State and I’m also receiving mail from all kinds of schools.”
Brewton is in regular contact with the Miami coaching staff and is also planning on attending the Al Golden football camp this Satruday.
“I’m looking to turn some heads out there, because I know all the coaches are gonna be watching.”
The Central Star safety is also eager to work with Miami’s defensive backs coach Paul Williams.
“By watching UM play last year and this years spring game I can tell he is a good coach. I see Deon Bush, he is playing on a complete different level compared to when he was in high school and to me I think he could be a first round pick.”
Brewton does admit that Miami would jump up his list of schools if he were to receive an offer.
“They would be one of the schools on top of my list. That would be a big time offer because it’s home, you got Deon Bush there, who I look up to. It would be big time.”

### Former UM power forward Donnavan Kirk, who will be eligible this fall after departing DePaul, said he will visit UM this weekend and then decide between Miami and Colorado State.
