Art Kehoe on Sunny Odogwu…
“You just have to be around Sunny to see what he's like. He's very intense and very outgoing and loveable, but when he wants to compete he's a really competitive guy. I think once he starts understanding all the aspects of what we're doing out here I think he's going to be a dangerous guy because he's so big and talented... Some kids you have to get them to the water to drink. He wants to be good, he wants to be a good player so he's going to be good faster than he probably should be.”
Al Golden on the schedule…
“It's very compact right now. Six days left to establish whether or not you're coming out of the smoke. It's a big deal.”
Golden on who might step up in Sunday’s scrimmage…
“I don't know. It's always different. Everything happens fast. There's no one coaching you before the play or after the play. Coaches are on the sideline. We're going to find out who can manage it and who can excel in those types of situations.”
Golden on the defense…
“It's not even the same group. You can't even compare it to
last year. The biggest challenge for our defense and for our defensive staff is
to let last year go... It's not even the same group in terms of maturity, size,
experience, strength, poise, or communication.”
Denzel Perryman on his weight…
“I put on, like, 10 pounds and I’m still running the same numbers…I feel like a wrecking ball."
All of us at Canespace say: "Wreck them Denzel, just WRECK them." If you get the chance to wreck certain people then do it like this: UF, FSU and UVA!
I didn't mean any harm VA, its just that so many others are constantly tearing down Shannon simply to build up Golden when Shannon is long gone. Don't get me wrong, I was the 1st to call 4 Shannon's head. In fact, I was hoping he would be rehired so he could be fired again, but nevertheless he IS & ALWAYS WILL BE A HURRICANE.

Soup I am gonna try to make the South Florida game in Tampa( I still have a hard time calling a team based in Tampa South Florida more like West Central Florida University but i digress). I know for a fact I will be at FAU, Florida, Georgia Tech, Virginia Tech, and Virginia. The only question is do I come to the Wake Forest game on October 26th or get a ticket and come to the FSU game thats only 4 hours from me the following week on November 2nd.

I wanted Cooker and Onion to be named head coaches so obviously I don't know the hell what I am talking about when naming head coaches! Looking forward to seeing progress this season throughout all aspects of the game!

FSU! For sure Terrance. The one semi pleasant atmosphere before the game (especially hot college chicks) and electric stadium. Then turn ugly if UM loses or wins (as drunk college kids get a but more aggressive and ballsy). All and all a great time for Miami fans. Should dont get to crazy. Nothing worst then having to bail an intoxicated friend out if a Tally jail for public intoxication.

I feel you canesteeler and I played college ball. But I goes to show how blindly passionate we are as fans. FYI I suppose based on comments everybody trades the last national championship for more sustained success the last few years?

Canesteeler,
I too don't know what I'm talking about, as I ALSO thought those two were good HC choices at the time. LOL

Larry Coker put a championship trophy in the case. Wouldn't trade that one for a conference trophy title doorstop to the seceratary's door ever.
Shannon, same thing, helped put that trophy in the case and as a player racked up another couple.
Until Golden wins something that actually goes behind glass instead of on the floor as a gaudy janitor door prop, he's still a guy whose hype has never lived up to the product he puts on a field, never beat a top 10 team and his two top 25 wins were against what turned out to be suspect competition. Unless you thought last year going into the season that 7-5 was unreachable that is, which I personally didn't, but I know there are people who did.
4-Real, your favorite team is busting out the 5-2 defense this year, trying go all '83 Miami 30 years later.
The classics, they always come back in style.
