With only five days left until the start of the season, Miami Hurricanes head coach Al Golden unveiled the FAU game week depth chart Sunday night.
Since Miami's final #CanesCamp depth chart was released last week, a few new names have surfaced as the starters heading into game week. One of the biggest switches is along the offensive line as junior Jon Feliciano has emerged as the starting right tackle, ahead of senior Seantrel Henderson. Sophomore Ereck Flowers is listed as the No. 1 at left tackle, while the left guard spot is still between redshirt junior Malcolm Bunche and Feliciano.
Miami's starting receivers are senior Allen Hurns, sophomore Herb Waters and junior Phillip Dorsett. Freshman Walter Tucker, who started as a linebacker and is now a fullback, is listed as the backup to senior Maurice Hagens.
On defense, Miami's starting front four looks like this: junior Anthony Chickillo, senior Curtis Porter, junior Olsen Pierre and senior Shayon Green. Junior Ufomba Kamalu, senior Justin Renfrow and senior David Gilbert are listed at the No. 2 position along the defensive line.
Thurston Armbrister and Alex Figueroa are co-starters at one outside linebacker spot; junior Denzel Perryman is No. 1 at the other OLB position. Senior Jimmy Gaines is the starting middle linebacker.
Tracy Howard (CB), Kacy Rodgers II (S), Rayshawn Jenkins (S) and Ladarius Gunter (CB) currently hold the No. 1 positions in the Canes secondary.
The Hurricanes open the 2013 season Aug. 30 at home against FAU (8 p.m., ESPNU). Single-game and season tickets for the 2013 season are on sale now at www.CanesTix.com.

Looks like PapaCane made some big changes after coming under "scrutiny" lol
Posted by: UMike | August 26, 2013 at 08:56 AM
247: Cook #20, Yearby #142
Rivals: Cook #28, Yearby #48
Scout: Yearby #22, Cook #64
ESPN: Yearby #21, Cook #23
247 has them separated by 122 spots with Cook at a clear advantage.
The next highest is Scout at 42 spots with Yearby given the edge.
Go figure!

SOUP..247 made A LOT of changes, they dropped Thomas for some reason. I just think its fun to look at and see where our guys are. 247 and ESPN normally have the best numbers imo

247 has Lorenzo Carter at 4...silence briefly interrupts, CaneRock covers His mouth, and proceeds to nerdy-nasal laugh.
Posted by: CaneRock | August 26, 2013 at 09:28 AM
CaneRock..if they keep playing Miami teams he will be a 3-star by NSD haha Rivals has him at #13, ESPN at #11 and Scout at #3.

CR..I didn't say they were always right lol

My wife read that question. She said to tell you I have it easy.
Posted by: The Dude | August 26, 2013 at 12:18 AM
Mine would say the same thing lol. Do like I did and play dumb about everything as long as possible, I went at least a month before I ever changed a dirty diaper lol. Use reverse psychology and tell her she does a good job of EVERYTHING, lol.
My final advice, these 6weeks on the bench will be brutal, but once she comes off the injured reserved list you better strap up like Matt Dillon cuz she gon be SUPER DUPER fertile. Trust me, you DO NOT wanna have that second one back to back. My son was born October 6 then my daughter was born September 24, so I'm speaking from experience lol. Good luck

"Golden on Joe Rose this morning: http://wqam.com/dj/joe-rose"
Can you sum that up for us? I'd rather stab myself in the eye than listen to that idiot's program. I absolutely
---
No to Ermon Lane. I've said that from the start.
---
Translating the depth chart:
It isn't that Susan's man isn't good, it's that Feliciano is really achieving. Maybe Susan could hold off on late night tiddly-winks? #Sutrel
Clements wants to finish his career on a high note. BAD.
Stacy Coley and Artie Burns are going to make some noise.
Shayon Green is the best defensive lineman we have, and the defensive end competition is the best it's been in the Golden era.
The linebacker depth still isn't good, but it's better than what it was a couple of months ago.
We're good at corner.
Deon Bush is still hurt.
We probably should already start writing thank you cards to O'Donnell.

WW, sage advice bro. I'll be taking it to heart, lol.

"The question to coach Al Golden: "Shouldn't Miami, given its history, its tradition and its location, be a program that wins at least 10 games every single season?"
Meh.
College football is cyclical. USC and Virginia Tech trend down while Miami and Texas trend up. It's a historical fact.

"No'D to be in the booth in 2013..was on field previously"
Two things:
They trust the players more and D'Onofrio is trying to save his job.
I hope it works.

And what was Bama doing before Nick Saban?
A good coach is all it takes. A bad coach, can set you back years.

Not giving Henderson the start makes sense. He's so physically gifted, he doesn't have to push himself to start. So Golden pushes him anyway.
Like David Banner, you don't want to see Seantrel Henderson when he's angry.

You have a point but if your parents are proud of what you did, it doesn't make international news, it's rarely talked about the next day and no one watches it again and again on YouTube.

A good coach is all it takes. A bad coach, can set you back years.
You are on it Dude!!!!
2 bad coaches set you back light years....Clappy and Onionhead did just that. Its a fact that is plain to see. Clappy just was not head coach material, and it is hard to say he won a title on his coaching. Onion is bitter about a lot of things; yes he had a hard life. He had an attitude and people problem, and he was not HC either. I liked Clappy better than RS....Randy did not like anybody, hell he hated the fans, media, HS coaches, players....and now you know he hates UM and wants the U to fail. He is a sad lonely bitter man but he did not have what it takes at this level. I hope he does well in the game.
We are off of life support, and breathing on our own again. AG is not the second coming, but a welcome change, fresh and not afraid to build while going through pains. We will have a good year...no NC, no undefeated season......but good....and I hope I am wrong about the season, and we do go all the way!!!
