Hey, Go Park It Buddy!

In advance of the 2013 football season opener, the University of Miami Athletics Department has announced tailgating times for its games against FAU and Florida.

Parking information for Miami’s Aug. 30 game vs. FAU:

• RV lot will open at 2 p.m.

• Green lot will open at 3 p.m.

• Blue, Orange, Maroon and Purple lots will open at 4 p.m.

• Stadium gates will open at 6:30 p.m.

• Kickoff is set for 8 p.m. on ESPNU

Parking information for Miami’s Sept. 7 game vs. Florida:

• RV and Green lots will open at 5 a.m.

• Blue, Orange, Maroon and Purple lots will open at 6 a.m.

• Stadium gates will open at 10 a.m.

• Kickoff is set for noon on ESPN

Parking for Miami’s remaining five home games will mirror that of FAU. The RV lot will open six hours prior to kickoff, the Green lot five hours prior, remaining lots four hours prior and stadium gates 90 minutes prior.

UMike it is like a "box truck" delivery truck that was customized and converted into a Canes cruiser. Angry did not own it but we met the guy who did and he let us snap some photos. Best vehicle I have EVER seen!

For the Florida Game here is what I have:

1. I have Terrance, UPNorth (+2 friends), Kenny, UMike (+1 brother), OGV and Anastasia, Zilla and his krew.

2. Game is at Noon and Green parking lot opens at 5 AM.

3. We have three cars: me, Kenny and UMike. Kenny will want to be there by 5 AM so he will go early and save me a spot in the green lot.

4. I want to leave at 6 AM and will take Terrance and UpNorth and friends. Meet in the lobby at the Hampton at 5:50 to load up and head out.

5. UMike, IF possible, OGV and Anastasia may need to ride with U and park in the EAST side orange lot with Canezilla. They do not have a parking pass as far as I know. I suggest that U leave NO Later than 6 AM from the Hampton Lobby. Parking will fill up FAST.

6. Raize...is U in or is U out for UF? If U are in we will need to make transpo plans for U with Kenny going early or with me or UMike if there is room in either car or if someone else is willing to go early with Kenny?

If they can get a ride back to the hotel, we don't mind giving them a ride there.

Email (read above) me your phone number. Once we are all parked at the Stadium I will post on the blog that day where we are at.

There are tall light polls all across the parking lot with letters/numbers on them (E5, E21, W13, etc.) that is how U find people. I am always at E5 in the GREEN lot and Zilla is usually around E21 in the ORANGE lot.

I am having "SPECIAL" shirts made for that game and will post a pic here on the blog on Game day so U will know what to look for. Gonna be GOOD!
