Below is the new dew depth chart released today by head coach Al Golden.
I wouldn't read too much into it as it is still way too early in "The Process" to determine the final lineup and many players (Chickillo, Bush, etc.) are working back from injury or surgery.

CR, he is there..probably just behind on the recent depth charts
Posted by: UMike | August 09, 2013 at 10:33 AM
UMike...appreciate ALL that U do! Please do not take this the wrong way but on the articles from other sites I would suggest cutting/pasting snippets (key paragraphs or bullet points) and not the whole article.
And IF possible post a link so people could go and read the rest of the article at the site so that it is more fair to the source. I know that U always mention the source so that is WAY cool also and may be enough. Nobody has complained to me directly so far but I don't want them to in the future like what happened with Canesport and ITU in past years. IJS

SOUP..no problem..I just figured since I mentioned the source to start with and since it isnt a pay site it would be ok..but I understand completely and will do that from now on

UMike...very cool and AGAIN thanks for ALL U (and Ohio and others) do here at Canespace to keep us up to date with the news. GO CANES!!!

The depth chart is as expected. There might be minor tweeks ala Chick, and Bush returning to starters other than that its what I expect we will see in 3 weeks on August 30th. See U peeps there. Go Canes.

Movement on the depth chart up to now and what will change in the future just means we're getting deeper at each position and competing.
Great news for our future!

PLAYERS U NEVER HEARD OF: WHO AM I?
I am a 6'3" kicker/punter from Hillsdale, NJ. I have been playing varsity football for Pascack Valley High School for 2 years. In my sophomore season, I started at kicker and earned First Team All-League along with Third Team All-County. In my junior season, I started at punter and kicker. I was a First Team All-League selection for kicker and a First Team All-County selection for punter. I have a 4.36 GPA and scored a 1910 on the SAT on a 2400 scale. I am looking for a good academic school that also provides an opportunity to contribute my skills to the football program.
(Player is currently on the UM roster as a Freshman)

One thing I like about the D-Line, is the flexibility. You have guys that can play DE in run situations...and guys that you can kick inside in pass rush situations, ala Olsen Pierre,Kamalu,Perry, hell, even Chick with His weight gain. MULTIPLICITY!

MO Hagens ... flying under the radar. Two years ago everytime he got a touch he got a first down. More 2 Come minus MJ#5
Anybody have a link to the video posted recenly with Duke running circles around the DL in the backfield and then the rest of the team storming the field. Also showed Duke in open space with a sweet juke move in the flats that was ridiculous. Any help would be great.

That's what I figure as well, but didn't he play primarily as FB and his touches were for short yardage situations?
What kind of adjustments do you think they will make to give him more touches?

Don Bosco HS head coach Greg Toal:
While Toal kicked rocks that littered the football field, providing a comprehensive list of everything he believed Don Bosco was not doing, Talamo spoke of having his football team as the crown jewel of an athletic and academic powerhouse. Toal wanted to see from Don Bosco officials the same commitment he demanded from his players.
Talamo promised loyalty in making some of the changes Toal believed were necessary for the Ironmen to take their program to another level. Two hours of spirited back-and-forth later, Talamo registered the biggest victory of his Don Bosco tenure when Toal agreed to become the next head coach of the Ironmen.
The rebuilding began shortly thereafter when Talamo brought in a landscape architect to redesign Granatell Stadium – Don Bosco's home field – from the ground up. "Father John really did convince me this was the challenge worth taking," said Toal, 58. "We hoped to be good and we were going to work hard … but we never really projected where we are now."
What Don Bosco has done to this point is more than either man imagined. The Ironmen have reset the standard for gridiron success in the Northeast, becoming the first New Jersey team to finish No. 1 in USA Today's national rankings two seasons ago.
They have won 41 consecutive games and 65 of their last 66. This season, Don Bosco is again ranked No. 1 in several national polls, extending its record under Toal to a staggering 136-10 with Friday's 63-15 victory over Passaic Tech.

Don Bosco Prep's football program has been a perennial contender for the New Jersey State Interscholastic Athletic Association Non-Public Group IV championship. The Ironmen have won 14 state championships (1968, 1970, 1973, 1983–84, 1990, 2002–03, 2006–11),[13] and have appeared in every state championship game since 2002.
In 2009 the Ironmen became the first ever New Jersey team to be selected as the High School Football National Champion, finishing atop the lists of both the USA Today and the National Prep Poll rankings.
Don Bosco would repeat in 2011 as the National Champion of both the USA Today and the National Prep Poll.
