Below is the new dew depth chart released today by head coach Al Golden.
I wouldn't read too much into it as it is still way too early in "The Process" to determine the final lineup and many players (Chickillo, Bush, etc.) are working back from injury or surgery.

I'll be present I haven't missed that game yet. Including the most boring football game I I ever witnessed. 11' 6-3. See yall at the Hampton in 3 weeks.

Sort of? From what I have seen all of the major media sites have gone to a "U get to see some for free" and then "we start to charge U to see more" format.
The SS did it first and now the others seem to be following suit? Just follow Twitter and forget the rest!

Updated: Visitors for Sunday's on campus BBQ
On Sunday Al Golden and his staff will be holding a "recruit-barbecue". Some of the 'Canes biggest targets will be attending the event.
**2014 Dwyer (Fla.) WR Johnnie Dixon tells me he will be going. Dixon has the 'Canes in his top 3, along with Ohio State and Alabama. Rumors have been swirling that Johnnie may commit sometime soon but he says he doesn't know when he will commit.
**2015 Miramar (Fla.) CB Tyrek Cole tells me he will "More than likely" be in attendance. Early on the 'Canes are thought to be the favorites along with the Florida Gators.
**2015 Monarch (Fla.) ATH Shawn Burgess-Becker should be in attendance he says. The 'Canes were one of Burgess-Becker's earliest offers.
**2014 Homestead (Fla.) WR Ermon Lane and 2014 Plantation (Fla.) CB Chris Lammons are supposed to be on campus for the event but I have yet to confirm that.
**Lammons will be announcing on Monday August 12th at 4:30 PM on the ESPNU program CFB Blitz. Ermon Lane and Quincy Wilson will also be announcing Monday at 9:00 PM.
6:22 PM UPDATE:
**Miramar (Fla.) S Andre Godrey tells me he will be in attendance this weekend for the BBQ. He also expects an offer to come. Godfrey was unable to attend any of the Al Golden football camps in June he said. Here are his highlights:http://www.hudl.com/athlete/967448/andre-godfrey
8:01 PM Update:
Tito Benach confirmed the following players will be at the barbecue on sunday as well.
Nigel Bethel
Trent Harris
Tyre Brady
Terry McCray

But Tannehill then caught fire on his final drive before taking the rest of the night off. He completed 3 of 4 passes for 52 yards while leading the Dolphins 80 yards for a 7-0 lead. The drive culminated with Tannehill throwing a 22-yard touchdown pass to tight end Dustin Keller.
Tannehill finished 5 of 9 for 75 yards. He was playing his first game with speedy wide receiver Mike Wallace, who missed the opener due to a groin strain, but Wallace never had the ball thrown his way.
Tannehill spent plenty of the first three drives running for his life. There are concerns about the first-string offensive line, and Friday's game didn't do a lot to eliminate them.

This Sutrel joke is funny, but Seantrel does have an excellent chance at getting drafted in the first round if he gets it together. Bunche is good and Flowers is even better! But Seantrel has a specialtalent to really ddominate when he plays well. Next time you go watch the canes play, just watch how he dominates.

UPDATE ON USF:
One more position breakdown to wrap up the series, and we close with running backs coach Telly Lockette, who joined Willie Taggart's staff from prep powerhouse Miami Central after Larry Scott left to go to the University of Miami. Lockette will help the Bulls with strong recruiting ties in Miami, but he also has a good history at the position, having starred at running back at Miami Northwestern and cultivated college talents at that position throughout his high school coaching days.
Lockette has a tough act to follow in Taggart offenses -- every year going back to Taggart's Stanford days with Toby Gerhart, his leading rusher has gained at least 1,500 yards, including two seasons by Bobby Rainey at Western Kentucky and Antonio Andrews there last year. USF, on the other hand, hasn't had a 1,000-yard rusher since Andre Hall in 2006, and none of the Bulls' current backs have experience as a go-to college runner.
"The expectation on the run game is going to be very high. It's what Coach Taggart has built his legacy on," Lockette said. "We're going to put a lot of emphasis on our guys that, as well as rushing the ball, they have to be able to protect the quarterback."

Soup & OGV and maybe others who have stayed at the nearby La Quinta do they allow U to check in early. I hope so because I get into Lauderdale around 11 am on the 30th. Hopefully they will let me check in by 1pm. I am so pumped for our Canes this season. 20 days until Gameday.

Posted by: BigWindyCane1 | August 09, 2013 at 11:23 PM
It's possible, but to use a cliche it may be more realistic to view 2013 as the "calm before the storm". We are talking about a team that went 7-5 last year, a team that came very close to losing to NC State, Duke, and Ga Tech. Are they better? Absolutely? Will they go 11-1 or 12-0 and send Nick Saban yelping like a terrified chihuahua back to the NFL? I hope so.
But it's also possible that Miami goes 9-3 to 8-4 - showing incremental improvement in its record while below the surface the young roster is vastly improved.
Last year's team reminds me a lot of the 1998 Hurricanes. This year's squad could be quite similar to the 1999 Canes, which had nearly an identical record.
If we follow that pattern, 2014 is where we really take off, just as the 2000 Canes were a quantum leap over the 99 and 98 versions.
