Dude I was tempted to stay over another night and go kill and eat me sum scallops but the road and the wife and my complete and total exhaustion brought me back to home sweet home.

If Da Big House (Casagrande) and the Hater (Kelly) have the Canes at 9-3 U can easily bet on 10-2. IJS

I was checking out some schedules and Louisville plays absolutely no one. They should be favorites in every game they play.
Posted by: Mountain Cane | August 23, 2013 at 02:02 PM
YES, I agree.
Da 'Ville VS Bama in the BCS title game?
Posted by: SOUP | August 23, 2013 at 07:43 PM
Louisville has a schedule that is so weak they will have to blow every single opponent out to even be a factor for the title game. You can book a BCS bowl right now. But if a team gets a title shot without playing a single ranked team, it would be an even bigger joke than the NCAA itself.

@KirkHerbstreit: “@quakerfan24: Hey Kirk! How good do you think Duke Johnson will be this season for the U?” Scary good. Balanced attack w/ Morris"
More love from Herbie.

I'd put either UGA or SCar vs Oregon/Stanford in the title game right now, but if the media has a hard-on for the SEC, it has an equally hard one on for the Buckeyes. Look for another buckeye-SEC blowout for this years matchup.
Posted by: BEERicane | August 23, 2013 at 07:51 PM
Same thing was said about the Brian Brohm led Cardinals and Petrino is considered a better coach than Strong still at this point. Let's keep them just penciled in for a BCS berth, pens aren't necessary just yet.

OGV...thanks for your work on the blog recently. U and Ohio and UMike make my life EASY. Me and Mrs. 86 appreciate U guyz.
Posted by: 86Cane | August 23, 2013 at 08:10 PM
Herbie always likes to give Miami the preseason love, even with Turf Face triggering the offense, so he's got to be high as hell on Morris.
SOUP, I never got an answer on whether I could go with Sandland over Coley for the newcomer LOF pick, so I had to play it conservatively, plus, I want to win one of these again after that laughable CB over my pick of Chickello last year for D LOF kept me out of tasting sweet victory after several seasons of drought!
Posted by: orange 'n green in the vein | August 23, 2013 at 08:11 PM
OGV I was thinking the same thing concerning the Cardinals of Louisville. I dont think they make it to the title game I got them penciled into the Orange Bowl against either our Canes, Clemson or FSU. This time next week. We will be in Sun Life watching our Canes beat down the Owls of FAU.
Posted by: Terrance Sullivan | August 23, 2013 at 08:17 PM
Thanks for the link OGV, lol.
Posted by: The Dude | August 23, 2013 at 08:19 PM
Louisville will need every team in a major conference to have 2 losses to get in the BCS championship. They are next years Boise State -all the NFL talent Boise had.
Posted by: The Dude | August 23, 2013 at 08:22 PM
OGV...The way I see it U can do whatever U want. U always have and U always will! LOL
Posted by: 86Cane | August 23, 2013 at 08:25 PM
OK, so here is an update:
1. Canespace T-shirts 2013 will be ready for the first game. Anybody who shows up and finds me will get ONE for free.
2. The only exception is CaneZilla who will NOT get one but his wife (The Shoes)and child will (he will grow into it).
3. I will have SPECIAL shirts for the UM vs UF game. They will be great, trust me. When U see them U will either cheer out loud or laugh until U pee.
Posted by: 86Cane | August 23, 2013 at 08:32 PM
IF U have not been there U need to go. It is very good:

OGV. Ty IS a beast. He's worked hard as heck to gain the weight. Some kids take a lil longer to grow into their bodies. I like that pick but have a soft spot for overachievers like Thurston. How can I buy a shirt for the gators and this years Canespace shirt and what sizes? My four year old will die if he can get one.

How many of ya'll knew, that this is the guy that Busta Rhymes got His stage name from.
Miami Northwestern’s Buster Rhymes was a star at Oklahoma, Danny McManus of South Broward — along with Danny Kanell — ended up in Tallahassee at Florida State.

WWIN, I'm watching Ensworth play Trinity (KY), and I didn't know Elder went to the same HS as Nentambu Fentress. Fentress's lil' brother just made an awesome diving catch in that game...

I will post this info later today.
The shirts are a little delayed due to artwork issues. But I did speak with First Coast T's in Jax yesterday PM and the shirts will be printed on Monady and shipped to Tha Hampton Inn on Wednesday.
If U show up for the FAU game like Terrance and DeeCane U can get your shirt then. If not then I will be mailing a BUNCH out on Monday 9/2/13.
There are two shirts this year: The Canespace shirt which is the same as last year and were very popular; the second one is a special commemorative UM vs UF shirt which is gonna be great.
More details to follow...

YES, he is the UM head coach's personal security guard. He is a former high ranking Coral Gables policeman and has been around forever.

Jontavious Carter no longer on the team. Assuming he noticed he wasn't playing any time soon with Dorsett, Hurns, coley, waters, etc ahead of him

Damn, I thought He was comin' along pretty good. Oh well, good luck to Him where ever He ends up.
Posted by: CaneRock | August 24, 2013 at 10:14 AM
After redshirting last year, could Carter play somewhere else this fall, or does he still need to sit out?
Looks like he was pretty buried in the depth chart. It is difficult when freshmen come in and pass you up.
