Your Miami Hurricanes beat the USF Bulls 49-21 on a sunny and sweltering Saturday at Raymond James Stadium. The game was close for the first part of the first quarter. And after that, well, not so much.
As a result, Miami is 4-0 for first time since 2004 because so many Canes fans showed up in Tampa like Native, Raize and 86Cane (L to right R)
Miami has won six straight games in convincing fashion dating back to 2012 .
And speaking of fashion, well here is some right here if U get my drift.
So what I am really saying is dig those boots!
Miami has not trailed in a game for the last 357 minutes of game time.
They may never trail again if Al Golden keeps this team on its current pace.
We came, we saw, and then as previously planned, we took their women.
So, is there really any more to say?
Big time in Tampa!

Miami's Oct. 5 ACC opener against Georgia Tech will kick at 3:30 p.m. ET and will be televised on ESPNU, the ACC announced late Saturday night. It will be the fifth of Miami’s six straight games on the ESPN family of networks in 2013.
No. 15/15 Miami (4-0) improved to 4-0 for the first time since 2004 following a 49-21 road win at USF. The Hurricanes’ six-game winning streak is their longest since winning eight straight during the 2005 season. Miami, who owns a five-game home winning streak, has won its last four series meetings with Georgia Tech, including home wins over the Yellow Jackets in 2009 and 2011.

Sounds familiar?
Just like the Gators not wanting to play us anymore, Alabama has cancelled its 2016-17 series with Michigan State because of "the uncertainty of the conference football schedule in those years."

The Bulls looked like the Bucs farm team
According to the Tampa Sports Authority, actual attendance was 32,977 (nearly 15,000 fewer than the tickets distributed).
USF head coach Willie Taggart got the jump and stepped on Greg Schiano’s toes on the line, the first to reach to 0-4
Note: USF backup quarterbacks Bobby Eveld and Matt Floyd did not ask for trades in exclusive interviews with ESPN. By the way, today on “NFL Countdown,” Boomer and the guys change Josh Freeman’s diaper.

Numerology: On the game’s opening possession, UM went 77 yards in seven plays. Dallas Crawford’s 7-yard run put the Hurricanes up 7-0. And, of course, UM was coming off last season’s 77-7 win against Savannah State. …

Go canes! One third of the season is in the books and the Canes are undefeated. Golden and his team are capable of making it to a BCS bowl. Life is good.

Kippen just got fired after the USC loss last night. I guess recruiting 5 star players is not a guarantee for program success or coaches job security.

The Great Dr. Lou Holtz (sarcasm) said last night that the Oklahoma Sooners have had the best defensive turn around from 2012 to 2013. Let's see.... Oklahoma finished #64 in Total Defense and is currently #19 in the nation. 'The U' finished a horrible #116 in 2012 and I'd currently #17 in the nation!

BigWindy - their scholarship losses is the hurt factor for them BUT Kiffin jumped ship and headed over there knowing he was going to step in ca ca. Now, without his dad Monty he is exposed. I think the talking heads said that USC is down to 60 schollies. Just my $0.02 fwiw.

That is as HOT as I can ever remember it being at any game anywhere. The UM/FSU game at the Orange Bowl in 2002 was the only game I can remember that was that hot. At the USF game yesterday we moved our seats prolly a dozen times in search of shade, which there was almost NONE of.

If U watch ESPN U would never even know that Miami existed. They promote teams they like and diminish coverage of teams they want to keep off the sports media's front page. Holtz is a joke. Why they still have him on is beyond ridiculous.

...poor Lane Kiffin.

Lane kiffin was pulled off team bus by school administrators by a terminal at LAX airport and fired. Told bus drivers to hang on, admin guys told bus to go ahead.
Lol ouch

Canes are number 2 in scoring offense and number 2 in scoring defense in the ACC. Based on Tony's point tallies, this year's Canes are on par with BCS years with one third of the season in the books. Golden and this team looks special. I don't like looking ahead but if the Canes should be heavily favored in every remaining game, except FSU. BCS bowl is a real possibility.

Interview with UM basketball coach Jim Larranaga:
Is there a disadvantage of having a red shirt in football in Cornelius Elder?
“I’m very pleased that Al Golden and the football program allow Corn to even consider basketball after the football season is over. Corn joined us for a few workouts this summer. He got hurt after the third one, so he didn’t get to do much more than that. But Coach Golden and I have spoken about him and Al has said that he’s a great kid, great athlete, and great energy, really demonstrates a lot of qualities that will be successful in football. They definitely correlate to the basketball court.”
Will Elder help you when he comes if he comes in January?
“Yeah, I hope so.”

Will be interesting to see how we perform in the GT game. Lots of mistakes yesterday that we need to clean up. You'd like to not see those, but they do tend to pop up when the game is not in doubt and you lose focus.
Morris looked sharp and the intermediate passing game made an appearance.
We are much improved, but not yet consistent enough to look past anyone. As college football shows every week, big favorites get taken down.
Sounds pat, but one game at a time, folks.
