Homey don't play!

Well, that and I got the press release? LOL

SOUP

For NativeCane and Old Skool's "EYES ONLY":

Present Status; East Coast: Karenia brevis, the Florida red tide organism, was not detected in water samples collected this week in the Indian River Lagoon system (Volusia and Brevard counties) or alongshore of Martin County.

Patchy blooms of Pryodinium bahamense, Takayama tasmanica, Thalassiosira sp. and brown tide (Aureoumbra lagunensis) continue in the Indian River Lagoon system (Indian River Lagoon, Mosquito Lagoon, Banana River). These blooms have resulted in discolored water and fish kills in some locations.

Tables and maps of sample results are available on our Web site:

The website also provides links to additional information related to the topic of Florida red tide including satellite imagery, experimental red tide forecasts, shellfish harvesting areas, the FWC Fish Kill Hotline, and other wildlife related hotlines:

The FWRI HAB group in conjunction with Mote Marine Laboratory now have a facebook page. Please come like our page and learn in teresting facts concerning red tide and other harmful algal blooms in Florida at: http://facebook.com/FLHABs.

This year Omaha is the minimun with the excellent team we have. I expect Gino DiMare to become the head coach in a very few years. He is ready.

Miami (FL) hosts Savannah State this Saturday, and the Hurricanes are a 60-point favorite.

"I really don't worry about it," Golden told The Dan LeBatard Show in Miami. "At the end of the day, we operate with class, always. I don't think it's a situation where we're going to be running fake punts in the fourth quarter or anything like that. I just think, the reality of it is, as a football coach, all you can worry about is your team. ... I've never been in a situation before like (this).

"Maybe I did at Temple when I was on the other side. When we first got there, it was awful. I don't think people realize, my first year at Temple, we lost 11 games by an average by 30 points a game and we had 54 scholarship players. Those freshmen we played with that year ended up winning the most games in Temple history and going to the first bowl game in (decades). I've been on the other side of that. But relative to our team, it's just about playing good and executing."

No sign of fish kills in Chokoloskee except when they met my filet knife.
We caught dozens of Reds, Trout, Sharks, some flounder, tarpon, snook, and even a pulled a grouper out of the mangroves!

Got spooled several times, broke off dozens of times, Becky caught a huge red and Ariel landed a 9 foot shark after an hour fight.

Dem Canes!!!

NICE! Looks like no scallops for me this year (season ends 9/25). Next year will require better planning on my part so I will need to stick to the five P's:

Prior
Planning
Prevents
Poor
Performance

NativeCane

Lets go tommorrow!

Think of the high that no planning whatsoever will give you!

DEM CANES!!!

NativeCane

Old Skool did, I called him up on a friday afternoon with the plans, saturday he loaded up for the FAU game.

You could tell it went against his nature to just take off willy nilly but when he got the wind in his hair he was happy as a 10 year old skinny dipping! LOL

Dem Canes!!!

IraqiCane

Agreed, 42-3. Them Canes!!!

Terrance Sullivan

Man If we only beat them 35-10 or 42-3 we will only beat USF next week by a touchdown and finish the season 4-8 the worst record we would have had since 1977 when I was rockin cloth diapers. The Debbie Downers in full effect here today. SMDH.

Terrance Sullivan

Terrance Sullivan

LOL at the Savannah State coach calling our Canes finesse. I hope AG let our Canes loose and we drop 80 plus on these marks. What a Assclown!

Old Skool

Sounds like a hell of a time in Chokoloskee Native. Did ya visit Smallwoods or the Rod and Gun Club?

As for FAU. you're right. I had a great time.

SOUP

Killian Cougars lost 20-21 in OT to Coral Reef. I am crushed.

WWIN

UMike is posting under different names today???? LOL

BigWindyCane1

Miramar beats St. Thomas.

BigWindyCane1

Carol city beat northwestern. Several former Canes coaches, like Aubrey Hill, are coachjng. Gray looks like he has good size and speed. Smith and Jo Jo for MNW are also really good. CANES got a good players with Smith and Trayon Gray. I hope the Canes can get Jo Jo too.

TonyCane

It's unfortunate that part of the $350,000 payment to Savannah State does include requiring them to wear the uniforms of Ohio State.
