Pretty sweet.

Haven't decided yet, either gonna go with Dubai, Portugal or maybe E5 at Sun Life?

Yeah, let's go with E5 at Sun Life, that's the ticket!

We are ALWAYS AT E5...every. single. game.

SOUP

Soup gotta ask ya - was that a real gator? If so, OGV, I know you will be the next one to get that photo op - don't be shy!

Posted by: CGNC | September 04, 2013 at 11:07 AM

Of course it was fake! I am crazy but I am not like NativeCane crazy! LOL

And 1982 had two look closely at LEAST three times before he could tell for sure and that was the whole purpose.

SOUP

Golden basically acknowledge that this weekend is the biggest game of his career, but that he doesn't go to sleep thinking about that.

Posted by: The Dude | September 04, 2013 at 01:43 PM

No but I do, couldn't sleep last night.

Me so anxious.

thirstybuzzardcane

UpNorthCane, I'm in Sec. 426 first row right behind the handicap section.....427 is almost right behind the field goal post. You'll be looking right at the helmet.

SOUP

Looks like scattered thunderstorms Saturday...

Posted by: UMike | September 04, 2013 at 01:45 PM

That is EVERY day in South Florida in the Summer. The game being at noon lessons the chance of storms significantly. They usually start around 4 PM every day and move West to East.

thirstybuzzardcane

UpNorthCane, you'll be around a lot of Hurricane fans....the canespace crew aross from us will be around a lot of turd fans!!

Thanks for the weather forecast Jim Cantore....LOL!!!!!!!!!

SOUP

I'll be in Sec 434, OGV will be in Sec 447.

Before the game we can all meet at E5 where Me, Terrance, UpNorth, Kenny, and Anthony will be.

UMike and OGV...go together and meet Zilla at E21. I'll explain how later via email but U and Zilla will have to coordinate your entrance together or at least around the same time at the same entrance on the East side.

I will come and find U guys because I know where Zilla will be or OGV can bring U to E5, he knows exactly where we will be over there.

At haltime we can ALL meet behind the EAST endzone on the patio deck on the 400 level.

SOUP

More details to follow.

TSully...where U at?

WWIN

I hope the moment won't be too big for Upnorth and Umike! (Al Golden voice) LOL

I have met UMike before a few times and I know how he rolls so he will be fine. Heck if U can survive the walk-up to the Orange Bowl and eat dead dog on a stick with no problems then U are good to go!

But to be honest I am a bit worried about UpNorth and this being his first exposure at a game of this magnitude. Rookie jitters, wandering outside his designated are, getting lost and possibly abducted by soem wild ladies, U know anything can happen this Saturday at Sun Life and it prolly will.

Remember when I said there will be some people who never make it into the stadium, some who will never make it our of the stadium, and some people who will not make it home that night? I was serious.

Try NOT to be one of those people.

SOUP

Zilla..I was not aware of that aspect of the weather. Let me talk to my sources, check it and get back to you.

Miami Dolphins owner Stephen Ross donates $200 million to University of Michigan

Readers appropriate comments today...

That should be the Headline in the Herald! "He can donate for athletics programs and facilities at Michigan but will not remodel his own stadium unless taxpayers and the public pay for it...."

Let the Herald showcase that and embarrass Him nationally! Who is he fooling--beside the editorial Board of the Herald???

Ross is a jerk and not part of the Miami community. You should Donate to a private school like the University of Miami which share your stadium. Why not invest in your own stadium instead of giving 200 million to Meeechigan. Asking the state of Florida to finance your stadium is an insult. Nice slap in the face Mr. Ross get the f...out of town. Boy do we miss Joe Robbie.

Let me get this straight--He'll donate $200 million for his ego to be stroked by the U of Mich, yet he thinks it is good business to stick the taxpayers with fixing his OWN STADIUM that he could afford to pay by himself. So basically he wants to take our tax payer money and donate it so he gets the credit, yet cries like a baby because he can't sucker the taxpayers to pay for his stadium; and threatens to pull the losing team for the past decade out of Miami. P.T. Barnum said it--"A sucker is born every minute." "We" are the suckers and he is the loser--shame on him! Where is the editorial lambasting him by the Herald for this fiasco and hypocrisy?

where is the HERALD editorial lambasting him on last springs extortion attempt. Not only are the HERALD EDITORS journalisticly irresponsible, but for sale.
Armando Salguero, the anti-American exile who writes for the Dolphins is the worse. His articles promoted and campaigned for ROSS"S extortion attempt. What a shameless rag the Herald has turned into over the past two decades.

Fellas i appreciate the concern but believe me when i say rivalry games are my specialty been too a bunch of them In Colombia, you fellas know how those soccer hooligans be. Im ready for the moment and having Soup, TSully as my mentors ill be learning and guided by the best!!!!

One thing is for sure with this game. The crowd will be cooking, but the Canes can't count on FU to wilt. It's pretty dang hot in Gainesville, too, and they're practicing every day at least 6 hours/day with blaring crowd noise, reviewing our films, etc. Our strength is offense, FU's is D, and we'd better avoid the turnover bug. If Morris stays accurate, looks for all open receivers (ie including TEs), and opens up some holes as a result for Duke, maybe have some grindup drives to see if FU's front 7 can be worn down, and not make any special team mistakes.....well, that's what I'm wanting to see. As already said, no point in worrying about storms. What would really make my day is to see the U D completely hold the fort.

Nice slap in the face Mr. Ross get the f...out of town. Boy do we miss Joe Robbie.

You probably never did business with him. I got hired by an ad agency to do a promotional film for the building of the new stadium that ultimately bore his name. The agency loved it, gave him the video and presented their bill. He took a look at the bill and said "I'm not paying this, sue me". That's real easy to say when you have a lawyer on staff.

As far as I'm concerned, his condition now is the way he did business: stiff.

Great read......ESPN app has story about the 1983 Canes....How they lost to UF and ripped off 10 straight BEATING Nebraska (considered one of all time great teams) to start the Championship run..... http://espn.go.com/college-football/story/_/id/9630381/miami-hurricanes-football-dynasty-began-loss-florida-gators-1983-national-championship-season

But not as impressive as its shocking win over the Huskers in perhaps the greatest championship game ever played, a victory that propelled Miami to five titles over an 18-year period, an era of dominance unmatched since.

SOUP

Advanced parking passes for Saturday's football game between the Miami Hurricanes and Florida Gators are now SOLD OUT on the main footprint of Sun Life Stadium. All parking passes on the main grounds have been sold and any fans without pre-paid parking will be directed to the stadium's cash lots (see diagram below) that line the outer roads into the stadium.

Gameday parking in the exterior cash lots will be $30 per car on Saturday, which is $5 more than the amount paid by fans who purchased in advance.

In preparation for a sold out stadium, fans are strongly encouraged to arrive as early as possible on Saturday. Lots will open at 6 a.m. Follow @HurricaneSports on Twitter and listen to 560 WQAM for traffic updates throughout the morning.

The could have had an auction and let his victim get the money

Bama received commitment from # 1 ot Cameron Robinson. Speaking of Castro, he held his victims on lockdown 4 ten years, yet his punk-azz couldn't handle ten weeks

If you look at National Champs, then Miami is listed as Champ, Co-Champ, or had claim to Champ many many times. Hell, from 1983-1991 was a helluva run.

1983 Champs.
1986 Jimmy's Boyz were 11-1. Penn St 12-0.
1987 Champs.
1988 Jimmy's Boyz were 11-1 again. ND 12-0.
1989 Champs.
1990 Dennis Boyz were 10-2. GT and Colo.
1991 Champs...Co-CHamps.

2000 Butch Boyz 11-1. OK 13-0.
2001 Champs.
2002 MAKES ME FRICKIN SICK!!!

Saturday can start a NEW STREAK! Lets go CANES!

VA Cane

If you look back over games, including 2002, we played for the Title 5 other times and coulda shoulda mighta won......I wont drag em out but counting 2002 there are 5 games that rub me the worst of all time.....we could have 10 titles. Blahhhh!!

SOUP

954...me so tired.

JCane

Yeah, LA3, but 1988 should have been a win over NDU if it weren't for one of the worst calls in ncaa football history, the Cleveland Gary called fumble...and they talk about Bama and a 3-peat! My a..!

2000 should've seen us in the title game, but the pollsters decided our win over FSU wasn't good enough, in spite of our loss having been earlier in the season. Would've been a tough title game though.

Safe travels.

VA Cane

1986 Sugar Bowl, 1987 Fiesta Bowl, 1993 Sugar Bowl, 1995 Orange Bowl, 2002 Fiesta Bowl. We sucked in all of these....even 2002, you give a team 17 points on turnovers you lose....I have looked at that call many times...he did hold him....ah such is fate....5 titles that really should have been....Dream Dream Dream VA....LOL!!!!!!
