LOL UMike i feel that. I just know that Tom Osbourne and other guys of humilty had no problem dropping 70 plus on teams lol. So did Joe Paterno had no problem dropping 70 on teams or Bear Bryant etc. In 1983 Nebraska beat Minnesota 84-13, and beat Iowa State 72-29, beat Colorado 69-19, and beat 67-13 so I could easily see us putting up that type of score hell we should of had 60 on FAU and FAU would beat Savannah State by 30.

As long as the final margin is 30+ in UM's favor, I'll be fine with the result. No severe injuries (more than three weeks of healing time) is the second most important thing Saturday to me.

This. All of this.

NO WAY we score 70 this weekend. This will be like a practice runnig at full speed in prep for next weeks game and giving some underclassmen some PT.

UMike

Also another thing to remember is we are STILL installing and learning a new offense. This isn't year 3 of Fisch (in which my thinking changes a bit), but the first year of Coley. Although this is a great week to work on fine tuning it, it isn't exactly sharp coming into the game.

Offense hasn't changed terminology though UMike, right now his play calling is a little under the average of a first timer there. He might need to go upstairs with his counterpart for the defense, because right now he thinks the WR bubble screen is a really great play, and it's the worst in any playbook.

Golden teleconference if U want to listen:

This game and USF game are games that feel like a Jamboree because both the opponents are horri-awful in Shaq's voice. Kick butt take names try to stay injury free and welcome the Ramblin Wreck of Georgia Tech from Atlanta in to Sun Life in Miami for the 2 nd test of the season. Go Canes!

i'll be at the "black out" unc game.. in orange!

I am going to stay away from there - every time I go they lose. Plus I don't like the place - getting in and out of there is a nightmare. Probably go to the Duke game though

Ohio_Cane

My LOF's, especially Stacy Coley, are going OFF this weekend! Bank it!

Are we up to 14 weeks now? There's slow and then there's the NCAA

Tomorrow is 14 weeks...

Really not interested in the points or final score. What matters is the O gets into sync and looks sharp. Running and throwing both. Then onto the 2nd and 3rd strings.

On the D, get lots of players in to get some reps. There will be injuries before the season is over and we need the depth/experience.

Terrance Sullivan

4th and 5th stringers will play against SSU and USF.

I'm not a fan of chapel hill.

I usually go to the Duke game (was there last year with my oldest son).. some loser duke fan kept shouting NCAA..

My wives friend has an "all of a sudden" wedding in November, so I didn't want to risk it.

UMike

Maybe they should just let all our South Florida commits play them lol

Noles scored 55 on sav st in a (mercifully) lightning shortened game that was less than 2 1/2 quarters long.

Sav St is an unbelievably bad team and we shouldn't be playing them. Georgia Southern beat them 77-9. Georgia SOUTHERN!

I really don't see how a game like this benefits anyone, other than shipping a couple bucks to sav st athletic dept.

That's pretty much it. Golden even hinted at it in his interview yesterday. U could tell he didn't think we should be playing them but couldn't actually say it.

WWIN

Georgia southern put up 70+ on these clowns lol and we can't get at least 70? Our back ups better be scoring and trying to score.

C'mon man!!!! That'll be like paying a prostitute and then start feeling sorry for her and not having sex wit her¿ You better put some work in first then get her some counseling later lol

2 words for the weekend, bubble screen.

Terrance Sullivan

WWIN Yes Sir U spoke some real ish right there.

BigWindyCane1

Bubble screen to Coley, break a tackle, pick up a block from Hurns and take it to the house.

BigWindyCane1

Canes will beat the spread. Golden and Coley have that offense fixed. Dno and Barrow might get a few scores too.
