« Miami Hurricanes Release New Depth Chart | Main | UM vs USF: The Tailgate »

Poster at CIS on Jaquan Johnson, who is a dynamic player. A lot of people saying Safety for Canes, but this kid with the ball is ridiculous:

-Have 15 scholarship offers right now. Alabama, LSU, Miami, South Carolina, Florida State, and Florida are some of the schools that offered.
-Miami leads and leads big. There is no No.2 right now.
-Family have Canes season tickets, seen them play a lot.
-Visited Miami over the summer. Was at the Florida game.
-Like the fact that UM is close to home. Feels good when he's there. Really like UM

Give me your Over/Under for paid Attendance at this Saturday's Game at Sun Life Stadium between our Miami Hurricanes hosting the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets. Since the FAU paid attendance game was 50,151 thats where I am setting the number. I say its over at 55,151. What say U Canespace Fam!

Miami is tied for first in the nation in WPFQ (wins-per-four-quarters, 1.00) and LPGW (losses-per-game-weekend, 0.00). #fancymadeupstats

Lol, he's funny

Ohio Cane I can dig that number. I would be estatic.

I agree 100%. Scott (who is hurt) and Dorsett (who needs work running short and intermediate routes) need another year and they will know it because Golden will tell them and they will listen. I think Rosenhaus may have lost a little credibility after the Streeter and Forston fiasco.

Upset watch? Thanks, HD, that will really keep the Canes motivated.

Golden has the team ready, developing and improving each week. It seems each time the coaches and players see something that needs to be corrected, they work on it and correct it quickly. The depth they have built keeps the first and second team motiviated and focused.

If it does not rain and Stephen Morris is healthy, the Canes will score 40+ points on the yellowjackets, and the Canes will have a hard-fought, but comfortable margin a victory.

I would good with that figure 86. Glad to hear ticket sales have been brisk last couple of days. I know I am living a pipe dream but it would be really cool if tickets sold so brisk they had to remove the tarps and have like 70 K announced aka paid attendance. That would be sweet.

TSully...wait until 11/9/13 vs VT. Then U can remove the dang tarps.

Because after we SMOKE FSPoo on 11/2/13 in Tally THEN the game at Sun Life vs the Gobblers is gonna be ON!

Umike...as far as I am concerned the military academies should NEVER have played college sports in the first place. Do U know how many MILLIONS of dollars the US taxpayers could save by eliminating ALL sports teams from the military academies? Go to the military or go to college to play sports, not both. Both are great by themselves.

I respectfully but strongly disagree. This an extremely short-sighted view of the mandate of these academies, in my opinion.

Not only is it a source of pride for the cadets, but the service academies have a rich tradition of sports, including football. But it's not only that tradition, but it's the building of character of future leaders for our military.

The amount spent on all service academy sports is infinitesimally small compared to the trillions wasted by our government. These cadets not only carry a full academic load (no easy football classes here), they have to fulfill all the other obligations of a military cadet. These men and women do not get a single minute to themselves and are basically going 24/7 for four straight years. Lucky are the ones that get more than 4-5 hours sleep in one night for those four years.

Compare that to our years in college.

There's plenty of fat that can be cut out of government spending, billions, but there are plenty of places to start rather than here, with the paltry millions it would save.

Go Army
Go Navy
Go Air Force

If course, and ----

Go Canes
