UpNorthCane didn't get the 1st ... Usagainsttheworld helps out with one of his overtime predictions ... guess we're in for some mixed results today #gamedayblogjinx LOL
Coldcane, U are a better man than I'll ever be for sacrificing what U do for all of us so that we can comfortably sit on our couches and watch The U on a Saturday afternoon. My sincerest Thank U to U, sir.
Future canes were BALLIN last night!! Powell had 123 yards and 2 TD's at halftime. Yearby went for over 200 (while splitting carries) and Gray looked great. Larry Bluestien said Gray will be a NFL RB
I agree with Blustein in that Gray may be best suited for RB or another position other than QB, but he does have a strong arm and could play QB at a smaller program. I don't see him as a QB at UM, but I could see him as a big, fast and strong RB once Swasey is done with him. Gray is a tremendous athlete, and he has a lot of upside. If Gray is interested in being a RB, he can be special.
I'm not using my 1 time for this game, but what I'd like to see is:
1. No turnovers on offense
2. A strong running game, with Duke and Crawford featured, with play action built off the run.
3. Defensive pressure on the QB
4. And so this isn't just a wish list, someone OCCASIONALLY covering their tight end.
Campanero gonna ball. We just need to play efficient football and we beat them comfortably. That would of been the same case last week against UNC but well 4 INT's keep games real close. Cut those down to 1 and we win comfortably.
I usually (pretty much always) call for the blowout win. In this case I'm shocked by the 3+ possession spread. However, if Miami actually shows up to this sellout stadium (by Miami I mean the fans in the stands) and the crowd is rocking, the canes will roll.
Miami wins easy by 28 today!
If only 40K show up, Miami will play uninspired and manage to win by 7-10.
Idiot on GameDay basically took 2 shots at Canes. Was a live look in at warm ups and he said "There's Duke Johnson, and... Oh pretty empty stadium there haha. Don't look ahead to Tallahassee, Canes!"
UNO three in a row!!

35-24! Think Canes are rolling 35-17 late in the 4th and give up junk TD in the end.
Let's GO CANES!

Need to worry more about Companaro than the TE, but I don't think he'll have a big day with our corners on him
Posted by: Ohio_Cane | October 26, 2013 at 11:01 AM
Companaro is their #1 for sure, but we seem to make any and all TEs have a great day.

@canesvoice: Canes averaging 499 yards per game. On pace for most in school history. 1990 most 482 per game. 2001 champ season 454 per game
This blows my mind. Think of all those crazy offenses we had...

Any live streams?

We never dial up any pressure.
D?No! Is the worst game planner we have ever had at the U.
Posted by: BEERicane | October 26, 2013 at 12:10 PM
Even the announcers are saying "might want to dial up some pressure here."
Posted by: BEERicane | October 26, 2013 at 12:11 PM
Ridiculous.
Can we hire a first half defensive coordinator?
Posted by: BEERicane | October 26, 2013 at 12:13 PM
D?No! Has to go. That was unacceptable.
Posted by: BEERicane | October 26, 2013 at 12:15 PM
Well maybe we can get some halftime adjustments..... that was way to easy for wake
Posted by: sass | October 26, 2013 at 12:16 PM

Posted by: ARCane | October 26, 2013 at 12:16 PM
TJL,
Did you not get the memo last time???? DO NOT POST FIRST ON GAMEDAYS UNLESS YOUR NAME IS UPNORTH!!!!!
Soup, hit em wit a 2wk blog ban and take his blog scholarship away!!!
Posted by: WWIN | October 26, 2013 at 12:18 PM
DNO....needs to grow a set.....
Place LB's within 3 yards of line...jump gaps and MAN UP on the outside.
No way to get pressure sitting back in 4-3 with LB's 10 yards off. And our dline needs to line up in gaps.
Crossing route and screens are going to kill us!
Posted by: LA3 | October 26, 2013 at 12:18 PM
Cant let a sr Qb be comfortable in pocket all game. First sack was 100% coverage sack.
