I am going to keep this blog short and sweet.
If Miami beats Duke then the Hurricanes can move forward towards their goal.
So the Hurricanes must beat the Blue Devils to keep hope alive in the ACC.
If UM cannot beat Duke then we move into a very dark and forbidden place.
If Miami loses all hell will break loose and I don't want to be here to see that.
Simply put, that just cannot happen.
Canespace Prediction: UM 30 - Duke 27.
Miami will win this game no matter how sloppy they play.

The offense needs to put up 35-42 points today for the Canes to win. Go CANES!

Alright -headed to the gym. I remember back in 2006 I think when a very disjointed Canes team played Duke at Duke. End of the 4th, Duke was marching down the field looking like they were going to win the game - even had police come out and surround the field. Last minute int by Willie Cooper.
GO CANES! Rise to the occasion!

DAMN UP NORTH U JUST COULDN'T WAKE UP EARLY ENOUGH AND BE FIRST COMMENT. STILL SAY WE WIN THO 28-17

I was a bit surprised to learn that Duke had EVER beaten Miami. (1976.)
So we can't pretend it's literally impossible -- it's happened before. Of course, that was before Miami grew up. But still.
Miami didn't exactly crush Duke last year, and if they bring the level of play they brought last week, I have to worry about the outcome.

If that is the case I would yank whatever player or players that have quit on the team scholarship and kick them off the team. Dont have time for losers.

Y'all better hope Miami wins today because the end of Canespace as we know it could be right around the corner in Durham, NC.

I conducted extensive research and completed a scientific study of the reason why Miami lost to FSU and VT.
Here is what I discovered:
1. We lost to FSU because I wore the wrong hat. That loss is on me.
2. We lost to VT because I wore the wrong shirt. That loss also is on me.
I will not make that same mistake today.
Posted by: SOUP | November 16, 2013 at 10:05 AM
I KNEW there was a bigger reason!
Get your ACT TOGETHER SOUP! (LOL)

SMH we are 123rd out of 125 teams in the country in time of possession on offense averaging 25:30 seconds for a team with a veteran offense that is a complete dumpster fire. We have to be much better than this nonsense. Go Canes! Beat Duke!

Duke is fired up and ready for this.....this game has PROGRAM changing potential for them! Everyone is doubting their VT win because of to's.
If they line up and flat out beat Miami, then it will be biggest win in DUKE FOOTBALL PROGRAM history.
If Duke scores more than 27, the Canes will lose.
Today we find out if Big Al has control of the ship.....And he better let them players play...PLAY TO WIN...because this has potential to be one of the worst PROGRAM loses for CANES...
Canes 30, PUKE 24.
Posted by: LA3 | November 16, 2013 at 11:51 AM
A team with a "high state of MORALE" will BALL OUT & THAT can overcome talent (IF! the talent gap between the two teams isn't TOO great). If you have your talent SUCKS - you ain't gotta chance ANYWAY (that's where the "Jimmys & Joes" part comes into play).
Remember...The "problem" is NOT to beat teams that you are BETTER than (lose too many of them & you get FIRED!). The PROBLEM is to beat teams that are EQUAL (or a lil' bit better) to you. This is where you MUST play with a HIGHER DEGREE of "MORALE", or, MORE motivated:

Entire GAME DAY crew picked Puke!
Even said did you EVER think you would say Puke over Miami in Football!
That is double kick in the nuts!
LETS GO CANES!

Is Jack that much better and playing as freshman?
#16 Myles Jack LB Bellevue, WA
Bellevue 4 stars 6'2" 215 UCLA
4.5
#17 Jermaine Grace LB Miramar, FL
Miramar 4 stars 6'1" 196 Miami (FL)
4.4

I threw up and $hit myself at same time.
THERE will be COMPLETE melt down if CANES don't win.
It is time to play angry and intense.
If our Def LB and DB can't light up Puke, then they should be ashamed.
it is about PRIDE now....
I don't care who has ball or what should be happening. HIT everything that moves! BLOW UP anyone brave enough to cross the middle.
Get a FLAG....Set a message. That crap is not going to work anymore.
And if DNO can't call the game....then the BOYZ need to take control on their own. Man up and BALL!
Posted by: LA3 | November 16, 2013 at 12:12 PM
I refuse to accept that Duke will win. I refuse to accept that Miami will win a close game. We need a crushing, blowout win. Accept nothing less, and don't deserve victory. Demand it!

It's TIME.....
AL needs to lose the TIE.
No man coaching the CANES should be in a TIE.
Fear the TIE means fear NOTHING.
If kids take on coaches lead....
the TIE has to go.
AL needs to let kids play loose and aggressive....
Al is not going anywhere...but we can start BURN THE TIE!

Eds..... (Butch get in trouble too)
1988-1992 At U. D line Coach.
1988 he began his time with the Miami Hurricanes under Jimmy Johnson and Dennis Erickson, spending four of those as Defensive Line Coach, where he coached eight All-Americans, including NFL first rounders Cortez Kennedy, Russell Maryland and Warren Sapp. While he coached there, Miami won two national championships (1989 and 1991). During this time that Orgeron successfully recruited a young Dwayne Johnson to play defensive line for the Hurricanes.
Starting in 1991, a series of personal problems began to affect his career at Miami: a Dade County woman filed a restraining order accusing him of repeated violence and in July 1992, Orgeron was arrested for his part in a bar fight in Baton Rouge, Louisiana; Orgeron acknowledged he had been intoxicated that night and grew angry when not allowed inside to retrieve his credit card.[6] In October 1992, Orgeron took a leave of absence from Miami for personal reasons; the departure was permanent and he was replaced by assistant Randy Shannon.[7] Taking a time off from coaching, Orgeron worked on his personal life: the permanent injunction was rescinded and felony second-degree battery charges were dropped.[6] He stayed with his parents in Larose, and credits his father for helping him get his life in order.
