Dude,
We drop more balls than Liberace! Admittedly, Morris hasn't been perfect but come on! We never saw a ball we couldn't drop. Especially on a key third down.

Clwtrdan

Are tickets available outside or do I have to pay through the nose at the box office? Thinking about bringing my 4 year old down from Clearwater. This is our biggest game for a long while.

THE MAN

I'm not saying by like those teams (Stan and Ala), but something can be said how they approach games. Watching them I don't seem them turning the ball over much because most of it is they are steady eddie marching down the field. Miami's problem is they are in 3rd and long too much and it makes them try and force something that isn't there. I'm not saying be like a Big 10 team, but sh!t I'd rather have consistent sustaining drives and take shots every now and then, then go 3 and out A LOT or have a turnover. All this in turn puts added pressure on the defense which in itself has there own issue. They are opposite, they are too conservative...

SOUP

There is a place for finness but first things first.....screw passive get violent. Beat your oppenents ass every play. They took it right at them....big smart powerful but athletic linemen. We are a passive bunch a lot of the time. That must change.

You can get all the recruits and stars you want....if you play passive football, if you are afraid to coach physical violent angry intense punishing football in all 3 phases you stay where you are. JMO

TAKE THAT CRAP TO THE HERALD BLOG DUDE.

If AFTER the game it is deserved then say it, but don't hope the Canes perform poorly and want hem to lose BEFORE the game. No fan ever roots against his team. IJS

To coaches:
Don't promise the world if U can't deliver.

To players: Don't believe everything someone tells U, AND don't slack off because U think U are ALL THAT AND A BAG OF CHIPS!

SOUP

None of those MICHigan guya look to be headed to Coral Gables so to me it is not interesting. They can go where they want.

The Miami Hurricanes played in the 2nd indoor collegiate football games in history. On November 8th, 1930, the Canes played the Temple Owls in the Atlantic City Auditorium.

"The hectic road trip began against Temple University of Philadelphia and ws played in the auditorium at Atlantic City, New Jersey. It was UM's first intersectional game and was only the second college football contest played indoors.

One account says an estimated three million square feet of Pennsylvania black dirt was brought to the Atlantic City Auditorium to make the grassless field. But Bill Kimbrough, center on the team, recalls that, "They had held a hockey game in the auditorium the night before and put this reddish brown substance-clay or whatever it was-over the frozen surface, I suppose. Anyway, it was as hard a rock."

The UM players carried coconuts to the game and presented them to the Temple players. Temple, in return, handed the Hurricanes a 34-0 defeat."

Maybe the killer instinct etc isn't there because are players struggling with fundamentals?

CGNC

Haven't seen too many dropped passes this year, but every nfl team drops passes, so NO EXCUSES

SOUP

Al Davis: "Just win baby!"

WWIN

CGNC, you can't teach em to play soft for two years then expect em to play aggressive after that. That's like feeding a lion cub and then expecting them to go out and hunt after two years of being hand fed

dj moonbat

I don't think it's making excuses to say UM's not good enough, and that there are reasons that they aren't good enough, and that we expect these reasons to remain with us for a while.

If the problems with the 'Canes were, in fact, easy to fix, then the relentless culture of blame would be more understandable. But they aren't.

I keep seeing signs that UM is getting better than it's been recently. And I don't see many signs that the people running the show are idiots, or otherwise blinded to the truth that seems so obvious to those of us giving directions on the Internetz. As long as those conditions remain true, I've got no reason to complain.

SOUP

moonbat...stop making so much sense already.

I would almost pay a cash fee just to meet U.

DJ, are you saying we have equal or less talent than ga tech, unc, and wake???

WWIN

No. Are you saying we lost to those teams?

Posted by: dj moonbat | November 08, 2013 at 07:59 PM

No but we put ourselves in a good position to lose to teams we should have destroyed. And I think it was the game plan not the players

elliott

Note to Coley:

Play calls need to be aggressive tomorrow, particularly with the short to mid range passes. We need to exploit their speed in coverage. I really think Miami has receivers that are a lot faster than VT's DB's. Their linebackers are good and they have some really good dt's but overall we have a better team.

Game will come down to line of scrimmage and the ability for our QB to manage the game. We cause turnovers and maintain ball control we will WIN. Good luck to the canes and I will be watching the game sippin on my Hen/sweet tea combo. I think Gus should play second reps and give eduardo the 3rd spot. Gus seems to be a lot quicker and has that IT factor when I have seem him in games.

O yea everyone on here needs to chill with the exemption for a few of U who are noticeably patient. If Golden recruits like has been and especially so far with this class, we will WIN big. Give him two more years and I guarantee U that we will be in the Top 5 for a long time.

SOUP

We win tomorrow ALL is good.

We lose tomorrow ALL hell breaks lose.

We gotta WIN!

SOUP

This game is THE biggest game in Golden's career.

WWIN

Soup, like you said a couple of weeks ago, I'm tired of stressing over games, I wanna sit back take my seat belt off and enjoy the ride but I can't cuz we hit too bumps. I love Golden but what we did against average teams this year is inexcusable. But he did have a good game plan vs fsu where the players didn't execute. On the flip side, I still believe in him but its somethings that he needs to work on.

Sorry if I offended anybody
