RCCF12%…..Yearby doesn't wanna spoil his boy's moment..

Heard Dalvin Cook committed to FSU congrats

Freeman said "Both my lil bros are Noles now! Welcome to the FSU family!

It was on Instagram with a pic of Treon Harris and Cook. Been telling you guys he is a Nole lol

From CIS & 247 on Gray trying to qualify...

Gray took the ACT test on December 14th and is waiting on the results.
“I am almost good,” Gray said. “I need one more night school class and then I just need to get my test score and then I will be qualified. It will just come down to my test score.”
Gray says Miami is working with him to make sure he qualifies.
“Miami’s plan is that if my regular classes at school don’t get me where I am at, then they are going to set me up with some virtual school classes so that I will be able to qualify,” Gray said.

“Coach Al Golden has told me offense, so I am thinking receiver, kick returner, and punt returner,” Gray said. “He says he likes the ball in my hands.”
Gray knows he needs to work on his game at receiver, but he is confident he can make the transition from high school quarterback to college receiver.
“I think I can be a good receiver eventually,” Gray said. “I played it for one year, but I know that I need a lot of work at that position. The more work that I get there, the better I will be. It just comes down to the work.”

^^^ I dont like the WR idea personally

Do we actually know Cook to FSU?

CSM... he has been a FSU lean for a while now and Freeman his a friend of is and former teammate. Cook is a Nole.

This is the pic on Freemans IG...

Oh dont start SOUP lol... Its not being negative, just my opinions. And to be positive, we will be fine without Cook, especially if Gray sticks. We lose a top ki every year, but we have locked up he majority of the top local kids we want.

Some of you guys remind me of my wife...ALWAYS talk about the "negative" when I think a recruit wont come her, but NEVER have anything to say when I say a recruit will come to Miami lol

That blows!

SOUP..your crazy man... you wake up on the wrong side of the bed this morning? We got a bunch of homers saying "Cook will be a Cane", and I get a lot of shyt when I say he wont..so if I want to remind those people I can/will... Im not happy he is a Nole, but I stand by the info I pass along and predictions I made. Why dont we talk about how I praised this class and the work Golden is doing, why dont we talk about how I said Berrios, Hester, Moten, Valentine, Powell, Gibbons, McDermot etc WOULD be Canes...no..of course not...we don have nothing to say about stuff lol... smh

SOUP..you're nuts man...bring in 86 already lol

UMike...OK, OK, I take it all back. I forgot that U just don't get it and that I said I was DONE trying to help U. My bad. I'll delete the comments.

lol... IDK about you some times..did you see he good news I posted about Gray? lol

Good morning UMike! How was your Christmas?

Im kinda hoping Cook stuns everyone and sticks with Florida...then at least we dont have to see him every year lol

Mrs. 86 and I went to our favorite spot in the whole world, Bok Tower and Gardens. We grilled some chicken and corn on the barbie, got fat and happy on some white wine, walked the gardens, heard the carillon bells (Google it) playing Christmas music and relaxed on a picture perfect weather day in CFL.

Oh, and IF I forgot to mention it, today is my BIRTHDAY!

Happy birthday old timer!

Happy B Day 86!

KYCane and Old Skool...Check it:

Happy Birthday, Souper! Here's to many many more!

Hopefully the next one we're talking about how we match up in our BCS bowl game!

Old Skool

Anniversary, Christmas and B-Day all within a couple of weeks. That's like the holy trinity of gift giving. I imagine the only thing your wife has to worry about for the rest of the year is Valentines Day.

Happy Birthday SOUP the BIG 5-0, huh? Wow, time flies...

Miami (9-3) vs. No. 18 Louisville (11-1), Russell Athletic Bowl, Dec. 28, 6:45 p.m., ESPN. This is one of the most anticipated games of the entire postseason, as Louisville gets an early sneak peak at what awaits in the ACC. The Cardinals have an edge with quarterback Teddy Bridgewater, who could be playing in his final college game against his hometown team. Where Miami could take advantage is with some big plays from receivers Allen Hurns and Stacy Coley, who have a speed advantage. Stephen Morris excels at throwing the deep pass, and that is something Louisville coaches know they need to guard against in this game. But Louisville should be able to put up enough points on an inconsistent Miami D.

AA picks: Louisville 35, Miami 24

HD pick: Louisville 35, Miami 28

UM 34, UL 31

UM 45, UL 34

Coley goes OFF!

Miami wide receiver Herb Waters has been seen on the sideline during the Hurricanes' bowl practices this week, and head coach Al Golden indicated Wednesday that he will likely miss Saturday's game against Louisville.

The Miami Herald and Palm Beach Post each reported that Waters was on crutches during Miami's practices for the Russell Athletic Bowl. The school has not announced the nature of Waters' injury; only that the sophomore wide receiver is expected to be absent from the lineup.

Via the Miami Herald:

Golden said Phillip Dorsett, Malcolm Lewis and Alan Hurns are the receivers who will have to compensate, as well as tight ends Clive Walford, Asante Cleveland and Beau Sandland. “We don't anticipate Herb right now,'' Golden said.

Waters' absence makes the return of Phillip Dorsett even more important for the Hurricanes in the program's first bowl appearance since 2010 due to self-imposed postseason bans. Dorsett, the team's leading receiver to start the season, suffered a knee injury against North Carolina on Oct. 17, but the junior has worked his way back into the lineup.

"A lot of people didn't think I was going to be out here again this year and I'm blessed to be back out here and blessed the injury wasn't as bad as it could have been," Dorsett told the Sun-Sentinel earlier this week. "After not having a bowl game these past two years, having a bowl practice is something I've always dreamed of. I'm just happy to be out here."

KY...I'll call u later today to confirm our plans. Old Skool and I will be riding together and are gonna skip the luncheon and just do the pep rally and dinner. See above link to UM party in Orlando from 6-10 PM on 12/27.

Dont forget about me. I plan on joining you knucklheads tomorrow after work. Just keep me posted,

Soup - Happy B-Day. My dad would have been 79 today.

What: Russell Athletic Bowl

Who: Louisville (11-1, 7-1 American) vs. Miami (9-3, 5-3 ACC)

When: Saturday, Dec. 28, 6:45 p.m. ET (ESPN)

Where: Florida Citrus Bowl Stadium (65,438), Orlando, FL

Opening Line: Louisville -3.5

What matters: Louisville and Miami both entered the season with conference title aspirations and each ranked in the Top 10 earlier this year, but untimely losses (or loss, in Louisville's case) have the future ACC foes facing off in Orlando. Miami self-imposed a bowl ban each of the last two seasons, making this the Hurricanes first postseason appearance since the 2010 Sun Bowl. Charlie Strong has led Louisville to a bowl in each of his four seasons as head coach, and a victory could give the Cardinals back-to-back bowl wins for the first time in program history.

Prediction: Even with an in-state bowl game, Miami might be at a disadvantage for simple reason that it is the program's first postseason appearance in the Al Golden era. Louisville should have a "business as usual" approach, looking to return to the same level of play that resulted in a Sugar Bowl win against Florida a year ago. Louisville 27, Miami 22

From a poster on CIS:

All-American Commits & Targets

Under Armour

Date: January 2nd, 2014 St. Petersburg, Florida 4pm EST

RB Joseph Yearby, Miami (Fla.) Central (Injured)
OL Kc McDermott, Palm Beach (Fla.) Central
DE Chad Thomas, Booker T. Washington (Fla.)
OL Trevor Darling, Miami (Fla.) Central
WR Braxton Berrios, Leesville Road (NC)
OL Nick Linder, St. Thomas Aquinas (Fla.)

RB Dalvin Cook, Miami (Fla.) Central

OL Damian Prince, Bishop McNamara (MD) High School
WR Ermon Lane, Homestead (Fla.)
WR Travis Rudolph, Palm Beach (Fla.) Cardinal Newman
CB J.C. Jackson, Immokalee (Fla.)

Breakdown: There is a strong mix of Miami commits and top targets at the Under Armour game this year. Miami’s commits will be led by offensive tackle Kc McDermott and defensive end Chad Thomas. The top uncommitted targets for the Hurricanes will be Miami Central running back Dalvin Cook and Immokalee cornerback J.C. Jackson. The Hurricanes will continue to push for other targets such as Leonard Fournette, Damian Prince, Ermon Lane, and Travis Rudolph, but all of those prospects are favoring other schools.

U.S. Army

Date: January 4th 2014, San Antonio, Texas 1pm EST

DT Travonte Valentine, Champagnat (Fla.) High School

DL Davon Godchaux, Plaquemine (LA) High School
RB Sony Michel, American Heritage (Fla.) High School
LB Kenny Young, John Curtis (LA) Christian

Breakdown: Defensive tackle commit Travonte Valentine will be joined by a few UM targets in Davon Godhaux, Sony Michel, and Kenny Young. The Hurricanes have a ways to go to make up ground on the trio of players UM is pursuing.

Semper Fidelis

Date: January 5th, 2014, Carson, California 9pm EST

QB Brad Kaaya, Chaminade (CA) College Prep
OL Reilly Gibbons, St. Petersburg (Fla.) Catholic
DL Anthony Moten, St. Thomas Aquinas (Fla.)
LB Darrion Owens, Oakleaf (Fla.) High School

Breakdown: The biggest prospect Miami has at the Semper Fi All American Game is quarterback Brad Kaaya. The Hurricanes are working hard to keep Kaaya committed with schools closer to California showing heavy interest. Miami accepted a commitment from Kaaya in May. His strong senior season has given him a higher profile and has attracted the interest of many programs in the Pac-12.

For everyone asking, meet here 3 PM:

Miami Pep Rally

Friday, Dec. 27, 4:00 p.m.
Pointe Orlando, 9101 International Drive ( Map )

Gather with your team at the official pep rally at Orlando Bowl Week Fan HQ. The band and cheerleaders will perform and head coaches will make a special appearance to fire up the crowd before game day!

After we are going to dinner but where we are not sure yet. Somewhere on I-Drive prolly and NOT the All Canes party in Downtown (traffic).

If anyone is interested in going downtown after dinner, I know where you can park for $5.00 or even free if we validate parking ticket. Traffic is not THAT bad and can be better than on I-Drive since all the tourist hit i-Drive and locals go downtown.

Looking forward to seeing you folks tomorrow.

Go Canes

Not having Herb Waters is really big in my opinion.

He is the kind of big, physical receiver we need to play against a Strong defense.

Getting Dorsett back definitely helps, but if I had my choice for this game I'd take a healthy Waters instead.

I think I like Dorset because he can stretch the field vertical and make they respect the deep ball.

Man my grammar is WAY off today lol
