@UMikeFakeAccount
BREAKING: Miami LB Denzel Perryman has decided to transfer to Florida. Perryman cited a need to feed his growing family as a top reason for the move.

There CR lol

LB

That is a very frightening parody of reality, UMike.

UpNorthCane27

loll^^^

LB

Heck, all a school needs to do is deliver a truck of water to a recruit's house here in WV and they'll sign today.

I think that lost to Louisville is starting to show its results. We win that game and we have a 10 win season, a bowl win and maybe more importantly, we show the local kids the home team can win. Instead all we did was show these local kids they can go to other schools and win big. We let a team full of Miami kids blow us out in a game played in Florida. And to top it off, their QB is a former Miami commit who might be he #1 draft pick.

Miami had the chance to bury all that, bu even with a month to prepare, they showed nothing.

I agree that the significance of that game was huge. What makes the impact even greater was how badly we lost. If the game was close and we played well, but still lost, I don't think the impact would have been as significant as it is now.

UpNorthCane27

LB just read about that spill you guys had.. Crazy man justice better be served idc if it was an accident or not, no one deserves to have their water contaminated. Stay safe out there man and hopefully the issue is resolved quickly. I can imagine the unrest as you stated people rioting already..

And if you believe Luke, what makes that loss WORSE...is that Luke says Artie Burns is the ONLY one that responded to Gaines trash talking.

Speaking of WV.. they just hired Miramars coach, so look for the WV pipeline to maybe start again... it will start today when 2015 4-Star DB Kendrell McFadden announces. Also, 2014 4-Star DB from Miramar Tyrek Cole committed to FSU.

UMike

CR.. by looking at the game, Luke might be right.. I did see Burns jabbing back on ST. THAT isnt Miami ball... cant bottle up South Florida kids lol

LB

I'm of the mind that bowl games matter more than conference championships, as it's the last impression fans, boosters, and everyone else has of your team. That hit me extremely hard.

LB

Thanks a bunch. It's strange as the places where people usually misbehave are actually the cool ones, and the nice folks have suddenly turned into enormous dicks.

nemo2002

Coach Golden needs to STOP THE BLEEDING.

Terrance Sullivan

LOL UMike Miami 2013 roster also had 66 kids from Florida so its not like Miami is avoiding Florida kids. So much for Miami doesnt recruit Florida kids. Also outta of the 26 commits how many are from Florida by all the pissing and moaning I would guess it was like 2 or 3 and we just ignore Florida altogether lol. Pure Comedy. LOL and as far as Luke goes If the Florida kids that played at Louisville has more guts than the Florida players on Miami team does we gonna blame all that on the coaches. Come on Man. I say where was our guys personal pride U think I am gonna let another man ball out and I aint gonna ball back out and I aint talking about trash talk cause trash talk without playing well on the field equals nothing. But hey lets blame all the coaches and the players dont deserve any blame for the listless performance. Laughable.

UpNorthCane27

TSULLY whats going on mayne... I see you staying cool, calm, and collected. Im tryna be more like you man, but these coaches have been awfully quiet and haven't been able to stop the bleeding.

At the end of the day ITS ALL ABOUT THE U. Poweel went to UF he ain't dumb he doesn't wanna see us in the future.

Go Canes

I wonder what kind of impression UF left on Powell when they lost to
a 1-AA team at home?

I guess much better than our loss to
Louisville did?

@Tyre_Brady: Solid like a rock #TheU http://t.co/m1L5nKxhF8

UMike

TSully... I know Miami has a lot of Florida kids, but we dont have many of the TOP Florida kids like FSU... that was more my point. Top programs keep their best talent home. Im sure FAU is full of Florida players too, but.... lol... If we subtract 10 of the Florida kids on our roster and add Freeman, Cooper, Collins, Kirkland, Hargreaves, M. Thomas, Bryant, Bridgewater, Joyner & Benjamin... think we might be a tad bit better lol

LB

"

I think to myself how is Florida still getting this recruits. Not only did they flip Powell in the last second, but they also flipped a 5-star DB. They had a 4 win season, BUT, their coach was smart enough to see their weakness (offense), and changed it. I do think normally continuity is good, but not if it isnt working. FSU revamped their whole staff and got better. Alabama is always losing coordinators and wins big."

An UNLIMITED budget helps. A lot.

LB

Suggestion: put Corn Elder at tailback. Yesterday.

herbieibis

UMike,
FSU gets by with them small DB's because they actually have a DL that puts pressure on the CB and they man up, something of a lost art for us!
Jackson, if he flips it won't be to us.
I guess Bethel & Powell didn't get the memo of no negativity until signing day.

There IT is right there.

IF he had been practicing at RB all year instead of DB, then when Duke went down, he could have stepped in to support Crawford and Clements and Gus The Bus.

Terrance Sullivan

UpNorthCane I am good bro and yes we gotta get back to the top. Hope all is well with U in Rhode Island bruh. UMike bruh I definitely dig what U are saying. and agree I just know that when U have only had 2 seasons of winning more than 7 games since the start of the 2006 season, the NCAA cloud, etc that happens but agreed the AG is on the clock. This team has to win at least 10 games, win the ACC Coastal, and win the bowl game, I expect more but thats my minimum baseline. My guess is that more of the top players will start to coming back to us from now on. We wont get all of the top players but we will get our fair share of them starting this year. We got a good share in 2012 also. but I expect this 2014 class will satrat being the norm from here on out and better got to get over the mediocre hump and it starts with our team not backsliding down to say 7-6. Needs to be like 10-3, 10-4, 11-3, 12-2, 13-1, 14-1,15-0 category. Love U all.

hazydavy

you are all smoking something if you think we will have a10+ Win the board.
Nebraska, FSU, Louisville etc...as much as I want to believe Golden I find it hard to accomplish.
although I am booking my trip to ND in 2016 :-)
should be fun.

LB

It looks like the UM roster page is updated with OFFICIAL players.

Two of these guys are productive defensive players from high school (Young- LB, and Harris- DE). The others are McDermott's younger brother and Braxton Berrios... possibly the very best slot prospect in the nation.

Terrance Sullivan

I aint smoking ish look we won 9 this past season should have won 10 and this years team will be better than last years team so yes I expect a 10 win plus season. If we play 14 games we better win at least 10 of them. LOL why do people mention Louisville they wont be the same team, of course I said that about Florida last year and people argued me down and well who was right lol. Soup U are spot on Golden and staff should have had Corn at RB all year instead of DB and he would have been able to have helped us out when Duke got hurt to help Crawford, OT, and Gus the Bus.

LB

"you are all smoking something if you think we will have a10+ Win the board."

I have never said that about 2014. Never.

Nor will I say it. But I am going to abide by Soup's wishes until NSD.

UMike

LB, I think Harris is underrated. Also, I am a bit worried that Yearby and Darling arent also on campus.

SOUP

UM down 4 spots to #10:

Attention all Canes fans along the OH River and north of Alabama:

You may be impacted by the chemical spill. Please be mindful of updates as I don't want you guys to suffer like we are in the Charleston, WV metro.

That will prolly change 20 times between now and NSD? Hopefully we start trending UP!

UMike

CR.. I know that..but he is a universal 3-Star and Chad Thomas and D. Jackson, Mike Smith etc have really got all the attention. That was more my point.

UMike

Florida's 4-8 season seems like a distant memory, but Miami's miserable bowl performance on national tv still lingers... that could be helping Florida lol... Florida made changes which makes them an easier sell... along with the whole SEC bs

raizecane

In regards to recruiting....we should stop reporting that someone has "flipped" until they actually sign the LOI. Until then, it means nothing....nada......zilch.....

CaneRock

A "universal 3-Star"? WTF! UMike done hit me with the "Nu-Nu"! LMAO!

Go Canes

@Safid_Deen: Central coach Roland Smith said it will be "any day now" regarding Joe Yearby and Trevor Darling enrolling early at UM. #Canes

UMike

CR...my bad... half the sites have him a 3-Star and half 4-star...but he definitely doesnt get the attention or recognition the other players do lol

UMike

Go Canes.. I hope so.. but we thought same with Powell lol

Terrance Sullivan

God I love recruiting season which for me starts the day after our bowl game till signing day. Its great theater.

You ain't neva lied, UMike got me in this bihh in TEARS! LMAO!

But UMike, Harris does remind me of Olivier Vernon. Him and Smith are gonna be pleasant surprises.

Terrance Sullivan

LOL CR. I love U guys.

UMike

CR.. I agree

UMike

I hope Smith sticks...he is taking a lot of late visits. Also..I read somehwere that Golden said AQM will be a LB next year..

SOUP

UMike...yes, and the comment was deleted.

Vanderbilt coach James Franklin is expected to be the next head coach at Penn State, a source told CBSSports.com on Thursday morning.

There are still many details to be sorted out on both sides within the next 48 hours.

The 41-year-old Franklin, a Pennsylvania native, worked wonders in his three seasons at Vandy. Franklin, known for being very organized, a dogged recruiter and energetic, walked into the toughest conference in college football three years ago and transformed a program that won just 13 SEC games in the previous 10 seasons into one that has now had back-to-back Top 25 finishes.

After a 6-7 debut season in Nashville, the charismatic Franklin coached the Commodores to an 18-8 record the last two seasons and a 9-5 mark in their past 14 SEC games. He also beat No. 15 Georgia this past season as part of the Commodores pulling off an unlikely SEC trifecta with wins over UGA, Florida and Tennessee -- the three traditional powerhouses of the SEC East.

UMike

SOUP.. really..something that soft was deleted? geez lol
