I love it and nice choice of title Soup U DA man brotha. My expectations are the same whether it was Kaaya, Heaps, Williams etc it's time to end these bad streaks we have been on for years in a couple of cases over a decade. Go Canes

Dude on a Pale Horse

Sweet.

WWIN

I know Heaps is somewhere like...

"Man, I picked the wrong school again!"

LQ

Nice. Kaaya. .. that is all

Go Canes

Other freshman with Kaaya that will help this year: Yearby,McDermott,Berrios, Thomas, Owens, Young, Harris, Darling.

Go Canes

3. Virginia Tech has nine true freshmen on its two-deep depth chart for its season opener against William & Mary. WR Isaiah Ford is listed as a starter, and TB Marshawn Williams is listed as a co-starter for an offense looking for playmakers. Ford had three TD receptions, each covering at least 26 yards, in the Hokies' final preseason scrimmage on Friday

Dude on a Pale Horse

Hmm... interesting list by Joe Zagacki. I think Hester and Jackson will contribute some also.

LA3

I excited for Ka Aya and Canes!

All I can say is wow! To have Kaaya come in and put things together and focus the way he did days alot about this kid. The cebdiling has never been higher.

Terrance Sullivan

I love it Soup. Going in on Matt Porter, Yea he right up there with Tim Reynolds in my book.

Go Canes

Tim Reynolds ‏@ByTimReynolds 14m
Person familiar with QB race: "It was like Brad decided to make the decision himself. He didn't win the job. He took it.

SinisterCane

Thanked God Golden choose Kaaya, the though of Heap starting for the U when he wasn't good enough for BYU/Kanas St

Give @GoldenAl and @CoachColey credit for having a game plan on how they were going to decide on the qb and stayed true to their plan.

22 years ago today, some dude named Andrew came though Miami...

Lurker

Impressed with Golden and his decision making. Heaps seemed to many like the safe choice, but he truly let the competition take its course, and then declared the winner the starter, even if it was close. This is a good sign for Golden and his decision making.

Dude on a Pale Horse

^^^This is how you create accountability on your football team.^^^

Dude on a Pale Horse

I hope everyone on the team takes a good hard look at the differences in effort between Brad Kaaya and Kevin Olsen.

CaneRock

TD...if KO can ever string 2 good days together, I can see Him being #2.

Dude on a Pale Horse

Love this:

Golden on Brad Kaaya: "He's our quarterback. He's not a freshman quarterback. He's the University of Miami quarterback."

Hate that! Lol. Okay Al, thanks. How many years of eligibility does he get then?

Going in on Matt Porter

LMAO! And speaking of your avatar, I meant to ask you, were you down on campus to see Corn...

Dude on a Pale Horse

Can we say definitively that WWiN didn't have something to do w/ Kaaya being the starter? I don't think so. So because there's no disproving it, we may as well accept it as fact that Kaaya's meeting with WW launched his career at The U. Thanks WW!

VA Cane

Thank you Willie Will in Nashville!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Dude on a Pale Horse

Now Corn Elder... there's one I think I may have to admit to being wrong on. I thought he'd've made a fine RB and we needed the talent there last year. I guess I still stand by that statement, but after watching the practices, that kid has the best CB hips on the team. He could be special there, although he's usually the one getting scored on in the plays of the day.

trianglecane

Did I miss the rest of the depth chart?

86Cane

WWIN basically RUNS the team. IJS

Winemakers in California's storied Napa Valley woke up to thousands of broken bottles and barrels as a result of Sunday's earthquake.

"It's devastating. I've never seen anything like this," said Tom Montgomery, a winemaker for B.R. Cohn Winery in Glen Ellen, California.

The epicenter of the 6.0-magnitude earthquake that struck Northern California, the strongest in the area in 25 years, was just six miles southwest of Napa, California, the center of California's winemaking region.

B.R. Cohn lost "as much as 50 percent" of its wine, Montgomery said. The winery focuses on high-end, single estate wines that retail between $40 and $100 a bottle.

At Dahl Vineyards in Yountville, California, a rack full of wine barrels was teetering and in danger of coming down. One barrel containing $16,000 worth of pinot noir fell and was lost as a result of the quake. The owners were trying to save the rest, removing the barrels with a forklift.

86Cane

Kaaya leaves Cali, named starting QB at the U, earthquake happens in Cali. Just a coincidence? I think not!

Go Canes

Think this staff has proven again and again they have and are implementing a long term plan that unfortunately was delayed at the beginning.

Starting Kaaya, keeping Corn at DB and what's happening in recruiting act as examples of what and why they are doing what they do.

Now....just beat Louisville.

30CINCO

Golden still loves starting only seniors? or nah?

86Cane

WWIN...CaneRock says he was FIRST on everything so there is no way to really know. I have my doubts, but who knows?

CaneRock

"Starting Kaaya, keeping Corn at DB and what's happening in recruiting act as examples of what and why they are doing what they do."

But Brandon Washington at LT though...Curtis Porter as a DT/CB hybrid though...

Dude on a Pale Horse
