The moment you have all been waiting for have finally, and mercifully, arrived.
Talk is cheap and easy.
It is now time to walk the walk.
Time to put up or shut up.
The shorts and shirts give way to pads and helmets under the Labor Day lights.
Your Miami Hurricanes take the field tonight in Louisville to show UM fans and the entire Nation what the 2014 team will be made of and what they will be able to accomplish under head coach Al Golden.
Golden enters his fourth year as the lead dog in Coral Gables. It is time for his team to live up to it's bark and have some serious bite if they are going to be successful in the ACC this season.
A convincing win starts the season off on the right foot, satisfies the fans for at least one week and sets the stage for a potentially breakout season for the Hurricanes.
A loss, while not crippling, puts a damper on the Spring and Summer of hope and expectations derived from excellent recruiting, improved talent and depth on the roster.
Coaching, leadership, game planning and execution will be the key operative words of the day as Miami looks to extract some serious revenge (you can forget what the politically correct say) from the same Louisville team that spanked the Hurricanes badly in the bowl game at the end of last season.
Tonight on a national stage under the lights at Papa John's Stadium on Monday night your MIami Hurricanes will tell you if they are back all the way, half way there or not ready for prime time.
We can't wait to see the message they send.
Canespace Prediction: Miami 41, Louisville 30.
We need to flush this nightmare and start over!

Posted by: Habane | September 01, 2014 at 10:08 PM
When does the stupid head coach step up and take control? Maybe ag has no clue either. Win or lose this is not fun
Posted by: AeroCane | September 01, 2014 at 10:09 PM
No f'ing way do we win on the road playing for fg. Our coaches need to grow a set of balls!
Posted by: Canesteeler | September 01, 2014 at 10:10 PM
At this point I do not even care if we win.
I mean I would rather win.
This is just SAD on offense.

Posted by: mi@mic@ne | September 01, 2014 at 10:11 PM

Posted by: AfriCane | September 01, 2014 at 10:20 PM
when i see this offense compared to say texas A&M with there new QB, it shows me we have a long way to go....
Posted by: raizecane | September 01, 2014 at 10:21 PM
I would be the last one to say it, but here it goes: Kehoe must go.
Posted by: 86Cane | September 01, 2014 at 10:21 PM
any chance the guard and tackle are still doing that patting thing from the bowl game?
seems like it
Posted by: longtimecanfan | September 01, 2014 at 10:21 PM
Defense is not the problem. Kaaya is not the problem. Figure out who is right now....

was going to post this earlier myself
Posted by: longtimecanfan | September 01, 2014 at 10:22 PM
Too predictable and conservative on offense! If you are afraid to let the freshman play, why select him as the starter?
Posted by: Hitter | September 01, 2014 at 10:23 PM
y don't we run a counter?
Posted by: NigerianCane | September 01, 2014 at 10:20 PM
Because our coaches don't know shyte.
They think if we save it for FSU we might win.

Posted by: 86Cane | September 01, 2014 at 10:23 PM
the line has been good over these years. 1 poor performance shouldn't cost kehoe his job.

I said that 2 years ago, last year and was ridiculed. I guess everyone requires a certain, different, amount of evidence to arrive at a conclusion.
