Tonight your Miami Hurricanes beat the lights out of Virginia Tech 30-6 in Blacksburg. The Hurricanes dominated both sides of the line of scrimmage and looked like a solid team. It was a fun game to watch!

Great win, just what the Doctor ordered. Coaches outcoached the Hokies, Players outhit and out played them on both sides of the ball, and we coasted to an easy victory. Got greedy at end and really wanted to see the shutout. Maybe too much to ask but I feel happy about my Canes for the first time in a long time. So happy for Duke. He is capable of this type of performance against anyone. Kaaya numbers not great but didn't need them tonight. Those take aways after half time were sweet. Totally dominant win! It's great to be a Miami Hurricane again (well it was always great but you know what I mean).
I think we can be carried on Duke's back to the ACC coastal. He was awesome tonight. Great vision. Saw a so-called future NFL corner back whiff on several tackles against him. When we are rolling on the ground like this, we need to just ride it for four quarters or until they stop it. VT never did. I remember how dominant the Dolphins were controlling the ball (and clock) and winning games in the seventies. I wish we would be more like that when we are on a roll.
What I saw tonight was a team that played an aggressive 3-4. There were 5 men on the line tonight and I think that really helps. You show both at the line and one of them is probably coming but you don't show which one. Plus, I saw a lot of blitzes. A 3-4 is a good scheme. A lot of pro teams are very successful with it. But you have to be aggressive with it and we were bringing it and laying the wood on those Hokies all night.

Miami scored on 5 outta 12 possessions, for 30 points, for an average of 6 PPP. All the drives were important, but it seems to me the key drives were...the one where we scored with seconds left in the 1st half...and the one where we ate up 5:23 on the clock in the 3Q after getting a TO.

I was driving the entire game and listened to it on Sirius radio / it was a hokie station. They could not stop talking about how dominant our OL was, how great Duke was and how strong our defensive line was.

This game is exactly how I've been expecting us to play all fricken year. Is there any doubt we should have a better record right now? Anyways, I didnt type that ti dwell on the past. I'm so happy we kicked the sh*t out of a rival. Best thing about this game? The fans have absolutely no reason not to support Jim Kelly and come to homecoming game. VT defense is stellar compared to UNC. 6-3 looks reachable to me. If somehow the run game and the pass game show up on the same day, and the defense plays like this or even tad better, we could give FSU a run for their money. These Canes were a better team after the dominant Cincy win and stringing this back to back, on the road in Blacksburg, they are an even better team tonight. If they take care of business against UNC, and I think they will CONVINCINGLY, that FSU game will generate a ton of interest, all good for the program and recruiting. We will be relevant again. We sneak out a win against FSU, dare say it but we would be close to being all the way back.

We scared FSU into the 3rd quarter before Duke got hurt. If we pound the ball against FSU, and a lot of teams have run well against them this year, we can take them. But I don't wanna just scare them this year. They are beatable. And we just might be good enough to do it. But everybody, coaches, players and fans have to do their part.
