If last week is a must win, today is more so. UVA, Pittsburgh, and Georgia Tech are all undefeated in conference play in the Coastal Division. Luckily, Pitt and UVA play each other.
By winning tonight, we'll immediately jump to a solid tie in second. Pitt plays Va. Tech on the 16th, and UVA gets Duke. In the meantime, we play Cincinnati.
Winning tonight gives UM a very descent chance at being at least tied for first in the Division and a shot at the Coastal (because the killer part of our schedule starts Oct. 23 and lasts through Nov. 15).
Win tonight and save Al Golden's job and our sanity.
Lose, and the probability of getting to the ACC Title is in the low single digits.
Meaning, lose... and Al Golden is finished.
Win. Now.

While it sounded very dramatic, the outcome of this game has 0% effect on his job status, which is completely and totally secure.
Nothing that happens tonight will change that.
