Go Canes

Down goes Ole Miss. Only scoring 7 pts on the road.

WWIN

Rock, me either but it seemed interesting! Lol

Lurker was getting a little irritated but he stuck with the process!

CaneRock

I agree WWIM, but I didn't understand WTH they were talking about LMAO!

WWIN

Lurker and Beer

2 different point of views, talked like adults, got off football subject but turned into a good convo, no name calling.

Glad the treatment is behind you and you are well. Cheers, mate.

No no not me. Someone very close.

Thanks though

CaneRock

I thought Lurker was some sort of engineer or architect, based off His explanation of that HS stadium in Texas that had those structural cracks in it.

CaneRock

LMAO!

#MEDSPACE

SOUP

Somebody help me!

BEERicane

LOL, Dude. Many are....

Dude on a Pale Horse

So glad someone of BEER's education level is a beer guy.

BEERicane

Glad the treatment is behind you and you are well. Cheers, mate.

BEERicane

Anyway, dovetails nicely with #KellyTough.

H&N cancers are not fun

Posted by: Lurker | October 25, 2014 at 07:50 PM

True. They are the roughest treatments to endure from a radiation standpoint of all disease sites. But it's worth it. Even in the most advanced (locoregional) stages, cure is not only possible, it's likely so we accept all of those horrible side effects.

WWIN

BEER...congratulations!

U have won "Instigator of the Day" award for generating the most comments opposing your opionon. Usually WWIN/M wins that award but he TRIES to win it. U did it all by posting complete and utter nonsense.

Way to go young man!!!

Dammit! I'll get it back. Beer bringing it today, hat's off!

Am I the only that thinks we shoulda put more points up on the board on VA tech????

WWIN

It wasnt this way before they got here.

Lurker

I'm out.

Keep fighting the good fight

Lurker

Anyway, dovetails nicely with #KellyTough.

H&N cancers are not fun

Lurker

No I dont. But I've spent time at Sylvester

Lurker

Ok, not a Med oncology.

But, I am familiar with your specialty on a personal basis. A specific practice of course.

Lurker

Yes. Pathology could be there. Lots of diversity in the career choices of physicians.

If you're familiar with GOs/FPs/IMs - here's a joke for you:

Why are doctors such poor dressers?

Because pharma companies don't give out clothes

BEERicane

You work at Sylvester, Lurker?

BEERicane

Rad Onc

Da U N Houston

I think we should bring one more QB in this class. Not good to have just 3 QB's on schollies next year. Plus if BK growth and progression continues, no way he is here past 3 yrs. Imagine if he knew the play book down pat!!!! Heard they are giving him more freedom to call audibles which I think he did last night. If you watch the game, he changed it up a lot yo run with Duke.

With this O-line, gotta love a depth of Yearby, Gus, Scarlett, Walton and Exter. Wonder who red shirts?

Also need at least 1 TE.

Lurker

If you're an oncologist, there is a decent probability we've met

BEERicane

Pathology could have made the list too.

BEERicane

Good spitball. It is among your list.

Lurker

Beer, to answer your question, thus is just a guess based on some logic, assuming that most of these PhDs were in a science field, the most "scientific" MD's that I can think off are oncologists, radiation oncologists, opthamalogists, maybe radiologists. I'm just spitballing it, though.

That's exactly right, sir.

Anybody around the program or him would tell you how hard he worked even after getting in. I'm so glad for his success in the NFL, but I'm not surprised as hard a worker as he is. Quality human being.

Harry Miller

Gore absolutely had a learning disibiliity. I know this for a fact. One of my friends wife worked with and tutored Gore thru high school. He really worked his butt off to get to the U. He always told her he was going to be a football player at U.

CaneRock

50-60Ks in the NFL. Gonna be a while before another College puts together that kind of talent.

Posted by: CaneRock | October 25, 2014 at 07:10 PM

Correction: *50-60K yards in the NFL*

CaneRock

Between Gore,McGahee,Portis,James,Moss,Shockey,Johnson, & Wayne to name a few, that has to be at least 50-60Ks in the NFL. Gonna be a while before another College puts together that kind of talent.

Welcome Epi, I think Solar has the record for firsts!

Dem Canes!!!

YooperCane

I remember going to the Miami VS VT game with my brother before Miami went to the Ship. My wife bought me round trip airfare and tickets for an early Xmas gift. It was my first game in the OB and it was an awesome one to witness, especially watching Willis Mcgahee...he was awesome! I truly think that Ken will always be Da Man for me though.

trianglecane

There are 7669 4 year universities in the US. 189 Ain't so bad.. #UNCG

Terrance Sullivan

2001 was a great year for University of Miami Sports Program. That is all.

But be careful w that microphone man, it's expensive

1mg of Epi

Neither. Which was my point as well. Not enough info available

Go Canes

Final thoughts:

If Bubba from Clermont applies at UF and doesn't get in, and Javier from Hialeah doesn't even bother applying to UM, does that make it easier or harder to get into either school?

I rest my case.

Microphone dropped,exit to ovation.

SOUP

Epi...tru dat!
