#5THINGS
1. Duke Johnson needs just 34 more yards to become Miami’s all-time career leading rusher.
2. Johnson has out rushed Miami’s opponents by a 806-502 count in the last five games.
3. Miami owns a 5-1 record at home this season has outscored its opponents 232-121 in six home games.
4. Senior linebacker Denzel Perryman tied a career high last week at Virginia with 15 tackles.
5. Tight end Clive Walford is one of just two tight ends in the ACC to lead his team in receptions.
We recommend that the Hurricanes finish STRONG.
That or their head coach may NOT be here for long.
Can't wait

At least make Golden stop wearing that shirt and tie, that's the dress style of pedophiles!
He shoulda buried that with Jo Pa!

This program disgusts me. B!tch keeps talkin' bout' a "cloud"...but IIRC, the PSU scandal broke the same year as our scandal. You mean to tell me, that the recruits couldn't compare the 2 scandals, and determine that there was no way in hell that we weren't gonna get the DP...FOH! Point blank, this guy is a divider, He's divided the coaching staff, the players, and the fanbase...PHUCK HIM!
Posted by: CaneRock | November 30, 2014 at 01:17 AM
WWIM...this clown really thinks He's at PSU, look how we looked in those unis tonight.
Posted by: CaneRock | November 30, 2014 at 01:20 AM
Dear UM,
Never give a coach a contract extension if he has NEVER won ANYTHING! Man up to this blunder and TRY AGAIN NOW! That is all.

thank you Roach and Sinister canes......I m sure I could get this ship righted....first of they would fear losing and fear me.....last place in dviision is wrong place to be!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
We play bad football; Golden and all staff got to go!!!!!!
There is no excuse for this mediocrity...Go Canes, Lurker there is no rationale or reason to keep this coach. I am calling you out...fire him and his no knowledge sweating fat ass!!!!
What a bad season....6-6..we should notbe in a bowl as we are in the toilet bowl; we do not deserve a bowl...players coaches administration have no regard for winning....put the shit away we do not want to win.....we are losers
Golden must take his fat as sweating Yankee ass and leave..go to Temple,Rutgers, Yale, U Conn, Nwestern, BC....or whoever....coach a damn Yankee school, enjoy it, go 6-6 and they love you.....get your average ass out of da South!!!!!!!!!
Up North,
I was speaking of college teams...Rutgers, Temple, Cinnci, U Conn, RI, Nwestern.....hell Maine and Deleware are better.....and though Pats are very good....Belichick is an ass and loves himself....as does Brady....and its been a while since you won because you have fundamental flaws.....and arrogance...with that irritating Yankee clip accent.....its not the same for college sports as pro.....

The final straw for me...complaining about night games.
Prominent games are played at night.
ACC Championship Games are at night.
National Championship games are at night. Every time.
If you want to play in the sun, be comfortable with6 wins. But this is the freakin U. We should want every game to be a night game, and every opponent to bring their A game. So those opponents have no excuses when they loose. We should never shy from greatness, nor complain about the programs status.
Posted by: TonyCane | November 30, 2014 at 01:31 AM
When I say complain about the problem grams status, I mean complaining that our status and prominence get us night games. Our leadership should never complain about that.

Miami Football..once an institution for football....now a joke. There is no pipeline to the NFL...and many laugh at us.....for good reason.
Todays FSU-UF game was amazing....the SOL, college SAT and IQ tests were all below the final combined score.....a bunch of stupid ass, entitled feeling, Obama loving players who do not go to class and should be working at McDs for minimum wage....dumb asses who get opportunity and fortune for being stupid....just because they are football players while people who have madegrades and scores are denied due to quotas and influences.....if you cannot do the work, do not make the grades, and do not try to do well....you need to work at lower paying jobs.....you are not entitled....
Posted by: VA Cane | November 30, 2014 at 01:37 AM
I would take a shot at Aunt Jamima Winstons knee or head....rapist, thief, gets calls like pushing refs.....a bad character person....I would help him along by putting him out forever....same with rice and Peterson...losers who bought leniancy....need to be hurt badly so they can not play again.....and get a job at McDs which is about their level of intelligence....Losers both of them!!!!!!!!!!

Postscripts, reaction, thoughts, disturbing realities after UM's 35-23 loss to Pittsburgh
You thought the simmering rage over the state of the University of Miami football program couldn’t grow louder?
Guess again.
This embarrassing 35-23 defeat to a 6-6 Pittsburgh team that had lost by 11 points to Akron --– Akron!!! --- was a new low, but also a clear indication that change is needed.
Consider:
### If UM (6-6) loses its bowl game --- which at this point, would surprise nobody --- it would result in the Hurricanes’ third losing season in 35 years. The only others since 1980: 5-7 in 2007 and 5-6 in 1997.
### With his third loss in a row, Al Golden dropped to 28-21 at UM, barely better than RS's 28-22 record before his dismissal. UM is just 16-16 in the ACC under Golden.
### Under Golden, UM dropped to 18-20 against teams from power five conferences.
### UM was outscored 14-10 in the second half, meaning the Hurricanes have been outscored 181-69 in the second half of its past 10 losses under Golden.
### More evidence of how UM is underachieving:
Miami’s last five recruiting classes were 16th, 36th, 9th, 20thand 12th, according to rivals.com. Pittsburgh's were 33rd, 59th, 47th, 35th and 44th.
But then again, UM also lost to Virginia, whose classes were 67th, 25th, 27th, 28th and 41st. And UM lost to Georgia Tech, whose classes were 43, 41, 57, 85 and 47. And, of course, Miami lost to Louisville, whose 2010-14 classes were 48, 29, 42, 50 and 42.
Unless you believe the rivals.com rankings are all wrong, then that’s a scathing indictment of this coaching staff.

If Blake James doen't fire Al Golden Monday morning no more donation to UM cancel your season tickets and write to Blake James:
bjames@miami.edu
Be proactive once Golden is fired we will go back to our normal life and donate again to UM and support our beloved Canes 1000000000%
It's more productive to write to Blake James than complain on blogs, radio or twitter...

VA Cane i have already done it. I wrote to several members of the UM Administration and i think i was not very nice but i brought the facts...
Posted by: Montreal-Cane | November 30, 2014 at 02:02 AM
I've already written Blake James M-C. I told be him after the UVA game his support of Golden was premature and that I couldn't wait for his thoughts after Pitt. I also said failure to act would be a failure on his part and that the blame for the mess that is Miami football would rest on his shoulders.

Simply fire Al and Mark, then hire Butch and Greg. ACC CG 2015. Playoff 2016. Give Al a really good reference, he'll be off the books when he starts conning Rutgers.

Good email!
If we fire Golden and he talks his way into another job we don't have to pay him anymore right? If so, the longest he would sit out would probably be a year maybe, so that wouldn't hurt us in the pockets too bad! Fire him now!

If Golden went to coach some other team then they pay his buyout. If we fire him we would have to pay the remainder of his contract unless he coached some other team right ?

If Golden went to coach some other team then they pay his buyout.
YES, BUT WHO CARES? NO OTHER SCHOOL IS GOING TO HIRE HIM AWAY FROM MIAMI - AND HE CERTAINLY IS NOT GOING TO VOLUNTARILY WALK AWAY FROM A MULTIYEAR, MULTIMILLION DOLLAR CONTACT AT UM.
If we fire him we would have to pay the remainder of his contract unless he coached some other team right?
DEPENDS ON SPECIFIC TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF THE BUYOUT CLAUSE. UM MIGHT BE OFF THE FINANCIAL HOOK, AT LEAST IN PART, IF THE OTHER SCHOOL PAID HIM MORE THAN THE REMAINDER UM OWES HIM UNDER THE AGREED UPON BUYOUT. HOWEVER, INASMUCH AS THE AMOUNT OF THE BUYOUT IS MUCH LESS THAN THE REMAINDER OWED ON THE MULTIYEAR CONTACT, IT IS QUITE LIKELY THAT UM WILL HAVE TO PAY HIM THE FULL AMOUNT OF THE BUYOUT, EVEN IF HE LANDS ANOTHER COACHING JOB.

It's over.
For the first time ever, with very few exceptions, I saw a team under Golden not play hard, not seem to care and basically go through the motions. The only ones I saw playing like their lives were on the line were Duke, Clive and Denzel, the ones with the most to lose.
Once that happens I question if it's ever fixable.
Four years later and it's deja vu all over again.
Fourth coach in less than a decade?
Makes me ill to think about it.
Cristobal for recruiting?
Ugh.
A coach Cutliffe type teacher?
Double ugh.
All I know is can't believe we're back here again. Wondering if our coach is gone and wondering what the future holds if he stays.
Demoralizing and frustrating.

Can't wait to get my phone call to renew our season tickets. Hopefully, more people will cure themselves of this blind loyalty.
And no way the []_[] did not put clauses in that contract about winning games, conferences, job performance, etc. If they didn't hold him accountable on the job then the program is officially dead. All they care about is the check the ACC writes.

LQ--wonder who we were playing and what their records were? Maybe al hates night games bc it means we're not playing Arkansas st. type teams, you know sun belt garbage teams.
We have a staff who gave us 2 of the worst defenses ever here but we were trending up in 2014. And we had a highly ranked recruiting class...WTF does that matter with al? We are last in the worst division in the worst conference of the power 5. Even the pompous know it all's who will tell the blob "trending up" "cloud" or they see the reality of the situation that the dumb asses like me can't see and we should trust them and trust the process. F that and F anyone trying to peddle that bullish!t. If u wonder if you're one of those D bags, you probably are.
The FSU game meant nothing...if it did ...well look out for ND and BC and the gators next year bc they played em as tough as us. Lucky we don't play FU next yr, esp a night game.
Hopefully next year were not spending time bitching at each other instead of talking shtt about the weakass teams we will be dominating whether the kick is at 7pm or 9am ...it shouldn't matter.
By hopefully I mean we have a new coach next season.if not, I'll prob need to stay away bc this shtt just isn't fun.

We finished in a 3-way tie for last in the worst division college football has probably seen in decades. That is so laughable. If he gets to keep his job, there is no accountability in this administration.

Boy, I wish I could get paid $2M+ For totally sucking in the wrong line of work.
