You would never know it by the unusually cold temperatures embracing the entire Nation this past week but Spring has Sprung.
Well, at least in the world of college football it has as your Miami Hurricanes began Spring practice with a new team and a clean slate for 2015.
The Miami Hurricanes concluded the first week of spring practice on Sunday at the Greentree Practice Fields.
Be sure to check out HurricaneSports.com after each day for the most up-to-date information on spring practice. Miami hosts its fifth spring practice session on Tuesday, beginning at 9 a.m.
Here is the Spring depth chart released by UM head coach Al Golden as the Kings of Spring get ready for a new season of college gridiron games:

NFL Media analyst Mike Mayock said Miami DE Anthony Chickillo has "got a better get-off than people understand." Chickillo didn't provide much production in college, but he was miscast as a 3-4 defensive end. The 6-foot-3 1/8, 261-pounder is a former five-star prospect who ran an impressive 4.77 40-yard dash on Sunday with an impressive 10-yard split of 1.59 seconds. "Someone is going to get a gem in the third or fourth round," NFL Media's Charles Davis said.
PS: Chick had the fastest 10 yard split of all the DLmen...1.59.

CR...Chick shed some weight and got a lot leaner...glad he is showing out...I noticed he also responded to Crawfords tweets, I think Chick is just glad to be gone from UM lol

Posted by: Ohio_Cane | February 23, 2015 at 09:28 AM

Posted by: UMike | February 23, 2015 at 09:32 AM
Ariz doesn't like Baez and Josephs THAT much, does he? He said "it's worth the wait"

There we go.

Recruiting is on an epic run. Forget about Golden, our foreseeable future is riding on a good 2015.
Can't have this much talent slowly bleed away.

I've never cared for kids committing 2 years before they sign. Only time they get me excited is when they're legacy kids or true Canes like Duke.
Posted by: Ohio_Cane | February 23, 2015 at 10:13 AM
For those that don't know Robert Burns, here U go. ELITE athlete, great size, huge pickup. But, again, he doesn't sign for 2 years.

Homeowners question for the space
who do you consider as the best Homeowners insurance in FL? I know USSA is good but they don't write in FL anymore. Thanks in advance
Posted by: SinisterCane | February 23, 2015 at 10:30 AM
It SEEMS as though Golden and staff have learned from their past mistakes in recruiting and are fixing them. Getting on kids EARLY.
And by "early", I mean offering FLA kids 1+ year from signing day. They take offense now if they don't get offered/recruited at least a year ahead of NSD.
