Saw the pictures and just had to say thanks for posting these! I've never been to the new facility so it's nice to see the pics. I hope to go someday myself and see all those trophies for myself. I also have a brick outside somewhere with my name on it so really want to check that out someday. Thanks again!

Might as well note the Lady Canes have just advanced out of the 2nd round of the ACC tnmt, as the #8 seed beating #9 seed UVa today. Next up is the #1 seed and #2 team in the country, NDU. Big note for this game is that NDU has only lost two games this season. One was to #1 UConn, and the other was to the U. I'm assuming the Irish want revenge, but it's a huge matchup and a way to potentially truly make the U's season if they could take NDU down twice in one season. The game is tomorrow. The other key is that this team had played well throughout the season before hitting a slump late in the year, I think losing 4 conference games late and ending up .500 in the ACC. Heating up late is never a bad thing. UM hoops in both genders is well-coached and exciting.

WWIM, it's didficult to project Lebron in the 80s and early 90s. To do so you have to also limit him to the same training regimens and programs that were available to Jordan and Pippen. Or conversely, placing Jordan in 2015 you would have to allow for current training programs and dieting. It's not completely apples to apples.

Nash Williams:

Sam Bruce talks about his invite to 'The Opening, #Swag16

This past weekend at 'The Opening' regional in Miami, Miami Hurricane commit Sam Bruce became the first wide-receiver to be invited to 'The Opening' finals in Beaverton, Oregon in July. Only 150 of the top football players in the country are invited to the illustrious camp a year, and Bruce described it as an "honor" to receive his invite.

"It's just such a great feeling," said Bruce just moments after his invite. "It's definitely a dream come true you know. I came to the camp (Saturday) and kind of expected this. However it was kind of questionable if I was going to be able to compete or not but I fought through the pain and 'Got Open'."

The St. Thomas Aquinas star who played a pivotal role in the team's state championship run last season is rehabbing a broken tibia and a fractured fibula and was fighting through some pain during drills but assured me the injury won't be an issue come fall.

"Rehab is going great. I'm training with a guy named Nick Hicks. He's a good guy and is getting me ready for 'The Opening baby," said Bruce.

Bruce, who has been one of the more vocal members of the #Swag16 recruiting class and recently has been voicing his approval of Kevin Beard being promoted to WR's coach on Twitter.

"It means a lot to me man. To me he is just so much more than a mentor. He is a phenomenal coach and a phenomenal person. All around he is a great guy and I can't wait to get down there to Miami to get to work with him," said Bruce.

Ranked as the No. 1 recruiting class in the 247sports.com composite rankings, the 'Canes 2016 class is loaded with talent such as Mr. Bruce himself. It's no wonder why Bruce is so excited.

"Yeah man, we've got almost 25 commits and they are all exceptional players you know. I can't wait to be around all those great players and do what we do to put Miami on top again," said Bruce.

"For Miami to get back on top they definitely have to come together more as a family," noted Bruce. "When you're a family things just click and that's what wins football games."

When asked what players he would like to add to the 2016 class Bruce mentioned Coconut Creek wide receiver Binjimen Victor and would also like to add a few offensive linemen and defensive backs as well.

Working with sellers and having listings require a LOT more work than just working with buyers. IMHO any realtor with more than 6 active listings is really doing a dis-service to his/her customers. Some have 20-30 listings at a time. Most just list them on the Internet and then do NOTHING else to sell them. The listings just expire and the house never gets sold.

SOUP

New construction is my thang!

Sitting model homes on the sale consultant's days off and doing open houses for builders who have "move-in-ready" inventory just sitting there for 90 days or more leads to MANY buyers and great price points.

I have sold and closed two and have sold five more with three closing this month and one in April and one in May. Some builders offer 4% commission and sometimes realtor bonuses of $1-4K. Those are the ones I like!

### UM’s NCAA Tournament chances remain very much alive after tonight’s huge 67-63 win at Pittsburgh. UM led 7-0 early, trailed by four at halftime, but rode Sheldon McClellan late in the game to move to 19-11 and 9-8.

McClellan closed with 20, Davon Reed had 19 and Tonye Jekiri had 10 points and 11 rebounds. And Miami did it without Angel Rodriguez, who was sidelined by a wrist injury. This was a quality win against a team also on the NCAA bubble.

“Great win for our team,” assistant coach Chris Caputo told Joe Zagacki on WQAM afterward. “Without Angel, they banded together. Sheldon made some terrific shots. DeAndre Burnett went 0 of 5 but he was so important for us down the stretch the way he was defending.”

UM closes Sunday at Virginia Tech and Jim Larranaga believes UM needs to win that game and two in the ACC Tournament in order to be invited to the NCAA Tourney.

Congrats to the 3 Horsemen for giving it all this past weekend! Looking at the exhibits from better times, I wondered what realistic expectations nowadays should be.

I came up with this:
10 wins in football
(hasn't happened since '03)
20 wins in basketball
(5 times past 10 years, including 4/5 since 2010)
40 wins in baseball
(5/10 since '05, 2/5 since '10)

What do you think? (I mean, other than the ongoing debate "For X to happen, Coach Y has to go." or "The scheme sucks.")

Dude on a Pale Horse

Just beat VT and get to 20 wins. Not too shabby for a "Football School." At least they used to be.

CoCane

Lebron didn't make my list the same reason Shaq didn't. Not here long enough. Bosh is spending the second half of his career here...

BigWindyCane1

The Canes essentially won a playoff game tonight, and the next two games are also playoff games. Win and the Canes are in. Loose to Va Tech or the first ACC tournament game and they are likely out of the NCAA tournament. Coach L and the players giving Canes fans a lot to cheer for

JCane

For those who think the U has no chance to make it, we still have to keep in mind that they're tied for 6th in the ACC with NCState and Syracuse, are one game up on each in the overall W-L column, have beaten each and Syracuse has already removed itself from postseason contention. All 5 teams ahead in the ACC are ranked, and a win over VTech would get the U to a 20 W season. Main thing is to get the W on 3/7, and to increase the odds of pulling out of the bubble, win at least 1 game, preferably 2, in the conference tnmt.

JCane

And the U takes down Pitt tonight, in spite of missing injured players, 67-63, on the road and overcoming a 4 point halftime deficit. It moves them back to one game over .500 in the ACC, and makes the game of VTech that much bigger in giving them a fighting chance for the tnmt.

Wow, did Duke take it to WFU tonight.

Ps co your list is numero uno but you need The Admiral.
