The Dude

I wonder if Bob Kraft will demand a public apology from his QB?

Terrance Sullivan

Not hoping my Canes lose at all. I don't give a bleep who the coach is. IJS. Go Canes.

VfB_Cane

We'll see ... I refuse to accept that 2015 is a lost cause unless I find a way to time-travel to 2016 (or whenever we'll be good again).

The Dude

That's why everyone loves TSully! IJS! Lol.

That's cool. It's my greater point though, that fans have a right to be upset with Miami right now. As long as the posts aren't personal or completely off the crazy deepend, let the fans speak their mind. To me, there isn't any sense in questioning why people blow off steam on a blog.

The Dude

^^^ I said that with the Marine Corps band playing "America the Beautiful" in the background, while sitting on a Harley, wearing and Ametican flag tshirt and training a bald eagle in the art of falconry too.

Terrance Sullivan

Exactly the Dude.

This part I love!

The rest? Well not so much...

The Dude

Haha, you don't have to like the rest SOUP, you just have to understand it is my opinion. That's all anyone has to do.

O_C, I'm gonna be in Ohio for a few months, we need to meet up for a game or something.

The Dude

And actually, you don't really have to do a damn thing brother. But everyone else needs to. Although, I will have my agent review my contract with you. To clearly go over the part that says I can say what I want after Al lost to UVA. Lmao.

The Dude

Furthermore, where is my boy UpNorthCane to defend Tom Brady and his Patriots?

Lurker

Not only is the horse dead, he's now mostly a bloody mound of organic matter

The Dude

Welcome to sports blogging Lurker.

Breaking news: Patriots sign Uncle Rico to a four game contract.

UpNorthCane27

Whats good fellas? Been busy with school wanted to stop by and say a few things.

Ohio my condolences on your families loss, the children are lucky to have family like you and your wife around.

Second, F$@K the NFL no matter what they do you can't stop the Patriots, Tom Brady and BB!!! Heres the problem the Pats don't snitch they get snitched on by other teams jealous of their success.

You want to discredit Tom Brady? Lol it was fun to see him dismantle and eat up Seattle that fourth quarter of the super bowl. Colts are mad that the pats used under inflated balls? Lmao we scored more points in the second half with "properly" inflated balls.

Shannon sharpe is an idiot talking out of his horses ass face, knowing the denver broncos cheated with their salary cal manipulation. Give me a break were talking about psi levels that dont mean shitttttt..

Last but not least.......

ITS ALL ABOUT THE MUTHFING U!!!!

Ohio_Cane

UpNorth just dropped the mic and walked off lol

Appreciate the sentiments, bruh

Lurker

Welcome to dead horse beating, the dude.

Go Canes

Glad I checked in.

Had no idea Golden is on the hot seat!!

Lurker

it's shocking!

TonyCane

I wonder if the Pats will try to put a Grappalo uni on Brady, give him a dark visor, and put him out there anyway? Or sign European, veteran European superstar Braun Trady, again with same dark full face visor.

Posted by: Go Canes | May 11, 2015 at 09:24 PM

NO WAY?

Is this true???

Is there a minimum # of games he MUST win this year?

Old Skool

Big deal. So Tom Brady is football's version of Gaylord Perry. Doctored balls make the game more interesting.

Old Skool

Hmm I wonder if Brady marks the cards when he plays poker.

Go Canes

It's coastal or he's gone!

TonyCane

It's 10 wins and an FSU loss, or 9 wins and a victory over FSU, IMO.

The Dude

TC,

That would be the most baller move ever. I hope the Pats do that, lol.

SinisterCane

Beat FSU or he's gone

The Dude

So last year he needed to check of 2 of the following 3 items.

(A) win the Coastal. Nope.
(B) win 10 games. Nope.
(C) win a bowl. Nope.

As we all know, I don't think he deserves to be here anyway, so in my opinion we can check (C) off the list for next year because if he doesn't do (A) or (B) before a bowl, I'm hoping he'll be canned.

The Dude

Winning the Coastal is mandatory, so I agree with Go Canes there. No excuse, win the Coastal.

The Dude

God forbid any major injury in the Fall, because: No Coastal, No Job, No Excuses.

SinisterCane

I thought this was year 1 for Golden lol

### A high-ranking UM official who has spent time with new UM president Julio Frenk said he doubts Frenk will inject himself into decisions regarding the future of Al Golden if next season is disappointing and Frenk likely will defer to what athletic director Blake James believes is best.

CoCane

SC,

That doesn't sound good...

The Dude

Remember how some of us said 2014 Canes were among the most talented in the nation and others laughed?

VA Cane

Brad has real balls!...and yes I said I want to see MLK slap Al Sharpton....hard...he would..love MLK real deal....and yes I said a chimp could have recruited for UM in late 90s.... it could. Glad you folks liked those thoughts
Ain't it a shame John Kerry represents us? Bonehead! Embarrassing he laid wreath in France on 70th anniversary of Victory Europe Day.....what a sap....and the haircut....he has kind hair....the kind you find on a dogs ass! What a blowhard hotair fool who threw off on his country!

Man....THATS funny! lol

UMike

If the definition of "beating a dead horse" is saying the same stuff over and over....then I guess we are ALL beating a dead horse. Just because you're pro Golden it doesnt exempt you from beating a dead horse in your blogging.

So Goldens future is up to Blake James? Lord help us lol

Go Canes

Under Blake James we are experiencing unprecedented success in our sports programs, record breaking season ticket numbers in football, a massive increase in donations and a never before seen upgrading of our facilities.

UMike

Go Canes,..I agree with those statements...well except "unprecedented success"(6-7)...however he also had ZERO issue with Golden having a 6-7 season and an embarrassing finish to the season. Not only was Golden retained after one of the worst coaching jobs in Miami history, but he was not forced to make any staff changes. If that is what we have to look forward to in James, in regards to Golden and football, then we are in trouble.

UMike

Anyone going to the UNC game on 11/15 in North Carolina?

UMike

Wonder if this is true.."This DB says Cane coaches told him if he grows another inch he'll have a Cane offer. So where does that put UM with him?"

Weak and you missed the target once again.

Sinistercane

Let's see how Blake turns out once the football Killa leaves in June

UMike

86...no one asked you...we all know your biased and love all the homers on this blog lol....EVERYONE is beating a dead horse, not just the haters....just cause you run the blog doesnt mean you're always right...unless you're my ex wife haha

UMike

86..any chance you're at the UNC game?

I'm 3 for 3:

### Former UM basketball player Joe Thomas, who tried out for the Dolphins as a defensive end the past two days, said he hadn’t played football since Pop Warner, before high school, and hadn’t even met or worked out for the Dolphins before this weekend.

About a month ago, he told a graduate assistant on the UM basketball staff that he wanted to try football, and that assistant and an agent began contacting NFL teams.

The 6-7, 245-pound Thomas, who transferred from Niagara to UM last summer, said the Dolphins were the only team to show interest in auditioning him and his invitation to rookie minicamp surprised him.

He chose to play defensive end “because it feels the most natural, like when you’re going up for a rebound.”

He said he didn’t play football in high school because “I didn’t have time. But I’ve always loved football.”

Could Jameis Winston's replacement at Florida State be the same quarterback that nearly defeated him last season?

Citing "multiple sources with intimate knowledge of Golson's situation," 247Sports' Ryan Bartow reported Monday that the Seminoles are the "front-runner" to land former Notre Dame quarterback Everett Golson. The former BCS Championship Game starter announced last week he was transferring out of South Bend.

"Barring a last-minute change of heart or any influence from elsewhere, [Florida State's] where he's headed,” a source told Bartow.

Notre Dame has reportedly declined to release Golson to opponents on the Irish's 2015 schedule -- including Texas -- as well as several Big Ten teams. Golson was connected with a possible transfer to multiple SEC schools, most notably South Carolina and Georgia, but that transfer would have required a waiver from the league office due to Golson's 2013 academic suspension.

If Golson does land at Florida State, he would be expected to battle redshirt junior Sean Maguire for the job of replacing the Heisman-winning Winston, who led the Seminoles to a national title and playoff berth in his two seasons under center in Tallahassee.

The Irish and Seminoles memorably faced each other just last season, with only a late offensive pass inteference call on a Golson touchdown pass preserving Winston's then-perfect record as a starter. Golson's career at Notre Dame spanned 25 games and featured 5,850 passing yards to go with 41 touchdowns -- but after Golson's turnover-fueled late season slump, it wasn't enough to keep Brian Kelly from starting Malik Zaire in the Irish's Music City Bowl upset of LSU.
